biggrin i went last october for about 2 weeks, cost around NZ$3000 (US$2500 roughly), covers good, accomadation, and general stuff. i went with a group of 30 from other schools around my city so it was rather fun biggrin not too expensive, although october wasnt the best time to go : it was raining for a whole weekend and still 20 degrees hotter then im used to.

i still recommend it to anyone, as long as its in summer.

I've been twice, and both times for 3 months. Didn't cost much because I stay with friends. I think it's a great place and everyone is very polite and friendly. I wouldn't mind living here, there's a lot to do so you should never get bored.

I think my parents ARE going to take me! If that's the case I'm gonna visit Kobe, Okinawa, and Osaka. Those are the three places I really want to see. Maybe Tokyo too, but I don't know.

razz they're relaxing arnt they? although first time is kinda hard, you feel so exposed lol.
razz me being so private, i decided not to go to into one, instead a went to a hand + feet one and look at the huge steaming pipes around the town, razz it was quite nice smile

razz im homestaying a friend from japan for 2 weeks smile lol theres not much to do around here, but it should all be fun biggrin

I spent last September there. It was a lot of fun. I really would like to go back. We visited Kyoto, Hiroshima, Matsuyama and Tokyo. I had a home-stay in Imade City, too. I really loved it there. I loved being able to go out at any time of the day or night and feel safe. I don't even feel safe in my own neighborhood at night. >.<;

I guess anyone who loves their culture would naturally want to visit. I know I do! From the p***s parades all the way down to the Gothic Lolitas and other weird fashions - I want to experience everything smile And of course, the massive amounts of manga and anime stores.

When I graduate with my degree, I'm definitely going back to learn Japanese.
