How is the mass of an object relative to its velocity when dropped off the side of a building?

Well it does not have much rto with it. Regradless of the mass of the object in question, the velocity will be the same. What has more to do is the size of the object and the resulting surface area which creates wind resistance. Such, a piece of paper which weighs the same as a rock will fall slower because it has greater wind resistance and surface.
