Riko was utterly shocked that her legs haven't fell off yet. She had been walking all day, but the trip to the incredibly long. Maybe it was because she got distracted easily. To her defense, she was a curious person. Anyways, the fishing game that was once crowded with students is now almost completely empty. Probably because they went off to the soccer game. Riko knew she didn't want to play soccer, because the last time she played, she almost broke her legs. How she managed to do so, she had no idea. All she knew was she definitely did NOT want to play the soccer game. She might come and watch though. Or she might explore around Lamia District, as long as she broke no rules. Or maybe both. Right now, Nirav and Elysia are currently signing up, and Riko's legs have no more energy to go and meet them. So she might as well stay here and play the fishing game. Oh, she had almost forgot to let Snivy out. She dug her hand around in her bag and enclosed it when she felt something smooth and round. She took the Pokeball out. Alright Snivy, come on out! she yelled. Snivy flashed out of the Pokeball. Good, Snivy is alright . Snivy exhaled, glad to breathe the fresh air again. Some water from the fishing game splashed to her and she scowled. Riko held in the urge to laugh. Snivy did have an advantage with water-types, although that didn't mean that she liked getting wet. Snivy brushed some water off herself, then shook the rest off. Snivy smiled. Riko giggled, then realized she should probably message her friends.

Riko finished then grabbed a fishing rod and went up to fish. May the gods give her luck. She could use some rare candies. Let's do this!"
The fishing game was a lot easier than the Dart Board. But then again, the big prize had already been won by someone else. And the fish were quite energetic, if not slimy and gross. Faye tossed the line and hook into the water a few times. The swimming aquatic creatures seemed to dodge around her hook for a while before one finally started to nibble a bit. The blond waited till the end of her rod bent a bit before pulling up hard. The wriggling fish flew out of the water and flapped on the end of her line, sending water flinging everywhere.
Faye shrieked as the cold droplets hit her skin and clothes, waving the struggling fish as the adult managing the stand, "GROSS! Grossgrossgrossgross! That water's full of fish gunk! Take the stupid thing! I caught it, now I want my prize! Take it! Take it!" The young man seemed to be chuckling to himself as he relived Faye of her fish and rod, placing the airborne creature back into the tank for someone else to catch. The rich blond paid him no mind, too busy wiping away any drips with a handkerchief she pulled out of her bag. Thankfully, not too much had gotten on her, so she wasn't that upset. Still...fish were just icky. But as she was handed two cellophane wrapped Rare Candies, she felt a bit better.
Iris had landed a fish as well, declaring that if she bet Antonio, she could call him by his nickname. Faye frowned a bit. She was allowed to call Antonio by his shortened name due to their long history, but it didn't seem right to her that Iris should be betting on that. The girl certainly did seem to have a thing for trying to get close to boys she lik-knew. And she caught a fish before Faye had, something that made her frown a bit. Iris was certainly more competitive than Faye had first thought. Maybe she wasn't the kind of girl Faye wanted to hang around with. But that thought was pushed to the back of her head as her two companions collected their prizes. There was a ringing through the air and the chatter of some of her fellow students that the soccer game was starting soon. Faye wrinkled her nose at the thought of all that running and unnecessary dirty stuff, but managed to smile a bit, "Looks like things are getting close to closing now. Shall we head back to the field with everyone else?" Faye waited till Antonio and Iris were ready before leaving the Fishing Game with them.

Deciding just to ignore Silvano, Maria concentrated on fishing. Not that there was anything to concentrate on. Wait and don’t tug on the rope. She lived new the beach so if she didn’t know something about how people fished she needed to go back home and learn. Sure she’d never done it herself and it would definitely be a learning curve but trying didn’t hurt. When she failed to snag a fish on her first try, Maria decided to try again.
Second time was the charm for sure as Maria got a bit. Pulling the first out of the water she smiled.“I got one.”She said slightly surprised.“Um… rare candies please.” With a smile the brunette took the two rare candies and put them in her bag. Now that she’d managed to win she figured she better get heading back to the soccer field. With a smile, Maria headed off hoping to have even more fun with the next event she would be a part of.

X⇒ LOCATION : Festival games XXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : Iris, Niara, Faye After throwing his line into the water, Silvano was pleased to see that both his friends were quick to join him, Faye taking a seat right next to him and Iris beside her. They both also seemed interested in his little proposition to see who was the best fisherman among them, too. That was cool, a little competition wasn't a bad thing. Though, Silvano didn't think to bet anything until Iris brought it up. So Iris wanted to win permission to use a diminutive of his first name? Silvano looked back at his green-haired friend with slight intrigue. While he didn't normally go by his first name -- unless the person using it was either someone he had known for a long time or had a close relationship with -- the idea of allowing Iris to use it didn't seem all that odd to him. He did consider Iris a close friend, so why not? "Alright." Silvano agreed with a slight grin. "If you win, Iris. I'll let you call me Tony, just as Niara and Faye do." Suddenly, the prospect of losing to her didn't seem all that bad, although, he was certainly going to give it his all anyway.
Waiting diligently, Silvano observed the two girls lines, hoping they'd remain stagnant before his line showed any action. Sure enough, he felt a slight tug and with that he hoisted a small fish up out of the water. His grin widening, he realized he was the first of their trio to catch a fish. "Looks like I won." He announced with some measure of pride, allowing the person running the booth to come over and collect the fish off his line. He then politely requested two rare candies before realizing that Iris had just caught one as well. Had a fish taken her line a moment sooner, she probably would have beat him. "Looks like you got a fish, too, Iris. Congratulations." He smiled before turing his attention to Faye who still had yet to catch a fish. He watched as she re-casted her line a few times in order to better her luck. Hopefully, she'd reel in something soon and claim a prize.
Returning his attention to Iris as the booth attendant collected her fish, Silvano decided to humor her. "Unfortunately, you didn't win. However, since you came in second, I'll let you use my first name if you like." He told her before adding, "just not Tony, at least, not yet," with a hint of mirth in his eye. This was just his was of teasing her a little.
Just then, Silvano snapped his attention back to the sudden commotion that was happening between him and Iris. Faye had caught a fish, but in pulling it from the water as quickly as she had, disgusting fish water was getting all over the place from the struggling creature. Silvano shielded his face with the crook of his arm. It was useless, as some water droplets managed to land on his coat, but at least it didn't touch his skin. On the other hand, he felt bad for Faye who was in the direct path of most of it, and was appropriately voicing her disgust and dismay. Thankfully, the person in charge of collecting the hooked fish was right on the task and had quickly taken it from Faye. Lowing his arm, Silvano's face soured a little when he realized that the young attendant had an amused look on their face. Apparently, he didn't mind the dirty fish water -- which was downright disgusting -- and found Faye's reaction comical. "Don't worry, Faye. Your clothes seem to be alright." Silvano calmly told his friend, while helping to assess the damage. Fortunately, the handkerchief she had with her helped a lot. "When we're able to contact family, I'll see to it that, that man is out of a job for laughing." He then added in a hushed, but equally scorn tone. Once Faye was given her prize and appeared to feel a little better, Silvano let his own displeasure subside.
Thinking on the Soccer game the three of them had signed up for, Silvano agreed with Faye. "You're probably right. We should head to the field before the game starts." Getting up from his seat, Silvano began to follow after Faye, making sure that Iris was with them. Inwardly, he wondered if the three of them would end up on the same team. If so, that idea at least made him feel a little better about participating.

Iris pouted when she missed the first time. That meant that Silvano was the winner of the game. No calling him Tony for her. However, she did get second place as she aqcuired the fish the second time around. Iris was collecting her rare candies when Faye screamed how gross the fish were. Frankly, the girl was acting how Iris had expected her to act. Iris was bagging her new item when Silvano reminded her that he won before he congratulated her win. Iris turned to Silvano as he was telling her that since she didn't win, she couldn't call him Tony.
However, she was allowed to call him by his first name. It was a baby step but a good one. He was teasing her when he said she couldn't call him Tony..yet. Iris pouted her lip, folding her arms as well before she smiled.
"Alright Antonio." Iris said cheerfully as he went to Faye to assess her status from that 'ordeal'. Since Faye was her friend, Iris did so as well. She was wiping herself with a handkerchief just as Iris could hear his hushed voice. Well, pieces of it. She got the part about calling their family because of the guy. Iris couldn't help but sigh as she folded her arms. The fish wasn't that bad. She wondered if it was a rich person thing. Like how Faye would mention her last name like it was supposed to do something or mean something to the people. Iris didn't get it and instead focused on them talking about the game.
"Yay, let's get going," Iris said as she took SIlvano's hand to follow Faye. "Let's go...Antonio. We're going to play soccer." Iris squealed as she tried to keep up with blonde while going through the crowds to reach the sign-up area.

His step took him through the street, toward cluster of stands he remembered seeing on his way to the restaurant. Aisha was safely held in his arm, despite her struggling whenever she found something of interest when they walked, Cyril kept his grip tight on her. He didn't want to have to look for a lost pokemon all day. "Snorunt sno sno," Aisha cried out while pointing toward a booth in her attempt to get Cyril to heed her. "That one?" Cyril turned to follow what caught Aisha's attention. It was a booth with makeshift pool. "Sno sno," Aisha cried out in delight as Cyril approached the place. Cyril could see it more clear now that it was a fishing booth. There was a board at the side of the counter that explained how it works. He could exchange the fish he caught for item. Many of them were out-of-stock already, safe for the common prize of gems and rare candy. What a blunder of this store not to run out of prize before the day even ended. He decided that aiming for the common prize will be good enough. "One rod, please," Cyril paid the man on the counter for one game. He then picked an empty spot to start while showing Aisha how to use and hold the rod. "Why don't you try?" he said to her after and let his snorunt play the game. He wasn't as keen of playing the game as much as he preferred to let his pokemon enjoy the game.

Aisha casted the line into the water. Perhaps it was because she was a pokemon, instead of a human that the fish quickly bite on. The snorunt was surprised at the sudden tug and hurriedly to reel the fish. It was unfortunate that she used too much strength that what she reeled back was only the bait. "Sno . . . " Aisha stared in disappointment that she had failed. "You are too quick and forceful. Try to reel it bit by bit to make sure the fish is still biting," Cyril gave her advice from his observation. "Snorunt runt snow," Aisha nodded and casted the bait once more. She watched the fish like a staraptor for a few minutes as the fish tested the bait. Once it thought the bait to be safe, it started to bite. Heeding Cyril's earlier advice, Aisha started reeling slowly, alternating between easing it, then reeling it again. She tugged the fish out of water or so she thought when the fish started flailing and its fin knocked the rod out of Aisha's hand. The rod dropped into the pool and with it, the fish.
"That's so close," Cyril commented when he saw what the fish did. It appeared that this game wasn't as easy as it looked due to the fish's behavior. "You are doing good, Aisha, just try it again," he encouraged while handing her the rod he retrieved from the pond. The snorunt nodded with determination as she once more casted the line. This time she was successful. "Snow runt Sno!" Aisha showed her accomplishment to her trainer. "Good work, you are getting the hang of it," Cyril praised.
The two stayed there for a lot longer. Cyril, himself, even tried fishing for a bit since his pokemon insisted that he did. He also let Siegrid out to see if he was interested. The sneasel scoffed at how they made such a big deal of catching fish when they couldn't even eat it. He chose to watch them instead of participating. This made Cyril to think that there's still a lot he didn't know of his second pokemon.
Time fly fast when they were in the fishing booth. Cyril decided it was enough. His pokemon, Aisha was showing sign of fatigue, while Siegrid was bored. He could tell from the way the sneasel was starting to doze off. He returned Aisha and called to his sneasel to climb up to his shoulder. They left the fishing booth after Cyril exchanged the fish for the prize of 2 rare candies.

Riko grew excited when she felt a tug. She quickly spun her line and reeled the catch it. But she was too slow it got away. Riko sighed in exasperation. Should she try again? Why not? It's not like she had the energy to go to the soccer game anyways, which she felt bad about. Snivy looked up at her, sending her waves of encouragement. Riko smiled. She knew she could always count on Snivy to be there for her. She dropped the line in again, hoping the gods will finally answer. She felt a tug, and this time, she took no time to spin her line and reel it in, whether it was a catch or not. She swung the line upwards, and the water splashed up. In the mist of it, was a beautiful fish. "Yes! I got one! Thank you Snivy! And the gods too, of course, Riko quickly added. Snivy shrugged modestly, almost smugly, but she had a smile on her face, despite the water from the splash hitting her. Riko grabbed the fish from the line, then got a towel for Snivy to wipe off. Maybe for her too, since she did get a little wet. She then went to exchange her prize. Hmmm... two rare candies or a gem? Moments later, Riko decided to take the rare candies, because she didn't plan to evolve Snivy, and even if she did, she didn't need a gem for Snivy to evolve, since Snivy is a Pokemon who doesn't need to gem to evolve, they evolve naturally, unless the trainer wants that process to happen quickly and at the moment. "Two rare candies please."
There was a message in her box. Riko put away the rare candies in her bag, and Snivy peeks over her shoulder to read the message. Riko opened it, and it was an announcement for the students and teachers to go back to their living quarters. Riko slumped in defeat. Her legs are just going to have to manage, because their living quarters is even further away from the soccer game. Plus, it was getting dark, and Riko hatted the dark. It had no brightness to it, with the exception of stars. The stars are the only thing that Riko enjoyed about the dark. Snivy seem to sense what she was thinking, and nodded. Riko grinned and remember the camping trip she and her family went on, along with their Pokemon. It wasn't your typical camping, no tents or fire, because they stayed in a cabin, which Riko didn't know if that still counted as "camping" or not. Snivy would always go out to sleep under the stars, like the rest of the Pokemon. Riko decided to go out too, because she couldn't fall asleep. She laid on the warm and soft grass, and stared up at the stars with Snivy on a hillside not too far away from the cabin. "Riko? What are you doing here?" she remembered her sister's voice, as she turned around and smacked into her sister. Not literally though. Yui was gazing at the stars too, and she blended in the night, which might have been why Riko didn't notice her. Riko was afraid that Yui will get her in trouble, so she pleaded with her, and Yui just laughed. "The stars are beautiful, aren't they?" she replied. After that, they would just lay there in silence, looking up at the stars. Riko recognized the little dipper, and many more. They were truly sleeping under the stars.
Riko smiled softly at that warm memory. Snivy gazed upwards, at the darkening sky. "Snivy!" Snivy gestured upwards, where some stars were already apparent. Riko gasped, as she saw the little dipper. Was that just a coincidence? She didn't think so.Her legs no longer felt like lead. The stars have given her energy. Definitely a sign. Riko picked up Snivy, and held her in her arms. "Come on, lets go back to the house." As much as Riko hatted the dark, the stars will follow her, shining through the night.
