Severin caught Kumotake out of pure reflex, and he lowered himself to his knees in order to hold the man. The effects of his bloodline on Kumotake were definitely... interesting, he would note them and make a strategy on how to use them in battle later. The male's icy hues blinked several times in succession, to anyone watching he just looked stunned but in all honesty he was just confused. His jutsu didn't have nearly the same effect on females. The male flinched slightly at the touch of Kumotake's hand to his cheek, when was the last time someone had physically touched him? It felt weird, alien. To hide his confused and stunned expression, he lowered his head slightly so that his curtain of silver hair shielded his face from few and made him look like he was weeping to the crowd.
And then just like that the play was over, and Kumotake broke character fast to ruin whatever chemistry he thought might be there. A snort escaped from him at Kumotake's remark, his eyes filling with amusement as he looked at the dark haired male. "So quick to dash my hopes, I was quite enjoying this." The Raigyo member helped Kumotake to his feet before reaching up to tie his own hair back. "I hope we can spar again some day, Kumotake. This time for real, and when I'm more prepared." Thanks to Kagerou he had a name to match the face now; he made a note to watch for the male later, to get to learn his fighting style and perhaps inquire more about his bloodline. With a flicker of light behind his eyes, the petals around them began to dissolve in to flickering ash as they faded, becoming just chakra once more.

[･･･] Inka stared, unblinking, at Takeda. The gold in the Mizukage's eyes shimmered, reflecting the thoughts racing around in his head. He had just stabbed a Genin in the leg with a real weapon - a dangerous object in a vital limb that could have very well resulted in the severing of a major artery, or permanent damage to the joint or muscle. For <********> sake he could have killed the kid - but that was the problem, wasn't it? The way Takeda reacted... Genin in title, yes. But not a kid. Not in age, and not in this profession. Damnit, kid... Inka sighed in his head. This was a shinobi, facing Inka, a shinobi through and through. From the smile at the impact of a blade through his own flesh, to the words immediately following. It made Inka's heart sink, and the cold part of his brain step forward. Takeda had potential. Trained by Jack and Shadow for a reason, a purpose, because they saw the potential already? Too late to ask, but too long gone to continue with the follow up.
Black pupils twitched to glance over Takeda's shoulder - brows furrowing in surprise - as Kagerou suddenly appeared. He didn't have the time to focus on her, and his instincts were screaming to ignore her - to not let his attention waiver from the Jiongu for any amount of time. Inka didn't even have the time to apologise as the following began... Gold eyes darkened and narrowed as red flashed through the Jiongu's eyes, but it was the taunting, disapproving tone in Takeda's words that caused the Godaime's nose to wrinkle, lips pulling down.
"Fine." Inka hissed and his hand shot out to the kunai embedded into Takeda's leg and yanked. The angle was to bring Takeda down to the side, Kagerou's weight aiding him, and allowing Inka the space to swing up and over - to get on top of the Jiongu rather than remain beneath as he had been - Inka clicked his tongue and his body visibly slumped, breath whooshing out on instinct, as though lessening a blow. But Inka was still yanking the kunai up - heavy...? - and out of the Genin's leg in a slash then twirling motion, all while his free hand is reaching to clamp down around Takeda's right shoulder. Inka leaned forward into it, pressing the palm down with his weight even further around the joint. Chakra shattered through Inka's palm and through the shoulder.
"Stay down, brat." Inka snarled, lips curled and eyes dark red. Inka's centre of gravity pulled back for better balance without any forethought, but the Godaime's palm remained pressing down on the injured shoulder. A tongue clicked against the back of his teeth and the red in Inka's eyes light up with a tinge of gold as his narrowed gaze opened up slightly. "Or continue this to the hospital."
Requiring a single hand sign and large amounts of concentrated chakra, this explosive jutsu's range is the user's palm. The best method of attack is for the user to grab hold of a vital junction in the opponent's body, such as the wrist or elbow, with one hand, and craft the hand sign in the other. The power summoned is a compacted explosive force able to rend through flesh, break bone, and tear arteries and cartilige alike while inflicting third degree burns around the area of the blast. The user will also feel this heat, burning their skin as well. As such, the user's hand will be rendered slightly burned from the techniques' first use and in need of treatment from burns and broken skin after the second. To use the jutsu a third time will render the hand useless except for basic movements from second degree burns and many open wounds. Itwill only regain its previous mobility after intensive healing. Grabbing the shoulder will make the attached arm almost useless, elbow to stop the target from using their hand, and wrist to cut through flesh and put the opponent at risk of death from bloodloss in ten minutes. The same is for hip, knee and ankle respectively. Note the inside of the elbow/knee also has the same effect as wrist/ankle due to placement of arteries.

Taylor; after rewrapping her hands in the bandages and pocketing the bloodied ones, rather than liter the area, stood and approached her sensei and the one being held to the floor. She looked down at him, not in a condescending way but evaluating the situation he was in. Painful. She took a breath then looked up. "I got some training in as you told me to and was wondering if you had the time and drive to give me an evaluation." She asked simply. She moved her hands behind her back and clasped each hand over the opposites wrist. She said no more, and didnt move at this point other than the steady rise and fall of her chest from her breathing. Her mind was in a good place currently, and she felt like she was fresh from the field with her training there. No better time than the present.

Weight on his back...what? If the sword wasn't bad enough, an additional 130 pounds of pure Kagerou plopped upon his back out of nowhere, the familiar voice ringing through his ears. That wouldn't have bothered him too much, but on his back was also..."H-Hey! Get off my sword, now!" He yelled in quite the flustered tone, though it seemed like his opponent didn't have any guilt on taking advantage of a situation brought upon by another person...good. Shinobi were creatures of opportunity after all, weren't they? His punch had landed, effectively forcing the Raiton chakra into the Mizukage's body, however it seemed like it didn't buy him as much time as he thought it would. Certainly the muscle tightening counterpart technique would've served him better, but the boys mind was too flooded with the need to slow Inka down. He winced a bit at the knife being moved in his leg, but it wasn't a major blow. Takeda's tendrils were already at the sight of the wound, blocking the knife from going any deeper or tearing through anything but the appendages themselves. Still, that didn't stop the distribution of weight, the shifting movement that Kagerou accidentally (?) assisted with which led to the Jiongu on his back with the Mizukage over him. The hand on his shoulder restricted his movement, until...
While the strike landed and indeed tore through his shoulder, it probably wouldn't have been the expected result. Yes, he reeled and briefly cried out from the sudden pain of having his body pierced through by a searing hot chakra explosion, but it didn't quite restrain the boy. So that's what Katon feels like, huh...ahh..it burns, but I suppose the cauterizing is a blessing...still, this is my first time getting burned like this. The wound following the attack was a learning experience, and he took some comfort in the fact that he wasn't bleeding out as much as he should've been under normal circumstances. Still, if Inka thought something simple like a bone dislocation existed in a being that could detach his own limbs at will and extend said limbs up to three times his height, he'd be in for a surprise. "Dagchyeo.." Takeda seethed in pain both to the kage and those gathering around them like the fight was already over. Appearing to be straining, the boy looked as if he was having trouble to even move with the searing hole in his shoulder, and the bone that was so obviously fractured. In an instant, the illusion was shattered, Takeda's left hand darting out for Inka's opposite shoulder, the one attempting to pin him down. It was done on contact. If Inka was unable to see through his ruse and pull that fully extended arm back in time with more speed than the Genin, he'd be filled with electricity all over again. Only more painfully, the brunt of it meaning to spread throughout the kage's entire body and stun him for a noticeably longer duration. Whether this landed or not, he'd raise up his legs to wrap around Inka's neck, turning on his hips before pushing out with his legs to put the kage flat on his back, all while he kept a hold of that left arm of his. Even if he pulled back the left from Takeda's own, his injured right arm would still follow the movement to try and catch him. Needless to say, it'd be incredibly difficult to avoid the boys clever counterattack. "My body is only able to move because of the chakra passively swimming throughout my entire body. It makes limbs rigid, lessening it provides flexibility. If i were to completely stop the chakra movement in a part of my body, it'd be like rubber, but I lose effectiveness in that area. For example...if I were to turn my head three hundred and sixty degrees, my physical power would drop drastically. It'd close off the Kaimon and Kyūmon completely for awhile since the tenketsu would be closed from lack of chakra. Human bodies...are perfect. The organs, skeletal structure, nervous system. It's all compacted to fit within the body, to the point where a single internal mishap can mean a complete shutdown...I told you about my hearts. In what world can a human ribcage withstand up to five of them in one body? How can it exist at the same time as all these tendrils? I think you know the answer..." Takeda didn't crank on Inka's arm or put any force behind the armbar despite being in the position to. He wasn't even sure the paralyzed kage could even respond to him yet. In terms of his words, Takeda had definitely been doing some studying involving the human body and the tenketsu. Happened when you were admitted into a hospital for a month for a chakra-related injury. As for his wording and intelligence on his own body, it was simple. While he had a problem with most Shinobi terms, it didn't make him some savage, tribal idiot. Combat was his home. In that environment, he was sharper than a fair amount of Chuunin or Jounin. If his body were able to properly accommodate his drive, he'd be quite impressive. Unfortunately, his breathy words and heavy rising chest were proof that the boy didn't have it in him to continue much further.
"The thigh...the shoulder. Your defensive way of fighting...You know, when Jack trained me, I wondered each day if I was going to die. The price...for becoming his bodyguard I guess. Then he told me that if I wanted to become one of Kirigakure's swordsmen, I needed to prepare for much worse...so is this it? Are you going to coddle me, or are we going to fight seriously like you said we were? I'm not asking you to try and kill me, but don't wait so long to start fighting for real then just tell me it's over, it pisses me off!" He yelled at the end, chakra flaring, obviously hating the feeling of being belittled. It was like everything just crashed at one moment. The interruption from Kagerou, Inka telling him to end it, the girl who just arrived and went about like the fight was already over...He felt useless for over a month and then trained his a** off, only for the outcome he was given? ******** that. With those words of frustration, he started to crank back on Inka's arm while raising his hips in the armbar, likely putting the kage through some pain.

Kumotake would stand as Severin took his leave. Glancing only briefly at dat a**. He'd then suddenly look at his wrist to see a small spider staring him down intently. "Tch. What's that look for?""Men can't make babies Kuku. Even I know that hsaa. Shaking his wrist the small spider fell to the ground on its back only to get back up defiantly. "What's the hells that sposa mean.""Kuku, you're lucky I told them to create counter pheromones. You must save your precious seed.""That's enough Sukoso. Get back in. We're heading out." A bitter hiss at his hosts denial of the prior situation. Sukoso would then leap back into one of Kumotake's many pores. As the Chunin produced his wings of black oncemore his head would turn to face Kagerou, Inka, and the other one. "Perhaps they need assistance?" the thought came and went. Nah.
If Kumotake learned anything from even this half assed example of a spar it was that he was severely lacking in skill. Maybe it was time he devoted himself to actually being a benefit to the village by actually giving a damn about himself for once. As tempted as Kumotake was to intervene he knew it was not in his place. He took to the sky. In the direction of a place to hone himself -exit.

Minuscule enough to retreat into Kumotake's body which was it's original form, slightly larger as a normal spider, and finally large enough to be ridden. It takes a full post to change in size, There's a cooldown of at least 1 full post, must be in physical contact.
•Adhesive Pores: Kumotake can now crawl or crabwalk creepily on all fours. When doing so he can climb flat surfaces and cling without the need for the water walking jutsu. Still, this is incredibly slow and inefficient for any purpose other than stealth. It's also incredibly unsettling to watch.
>Arach-nightmaria: Kumotake's Kikaichu having quite possibly absorbed the adverse twisted chakras of the former hellscape and now have, in their genetics, chakra traces of the beings who had once resided in the nightmare. Having evolved from the hellish ordeal placed upon them and unknowingly carrying terror within their genealogy they have developed the ability to produce fear inducing Genjutsu at the will of their host acting as the conduit for the molding of the necessary chakra rather than hand signs.

The emblem of a jagged spider sewn on the backsides while the palms contain what appear to be the equivalent of small hole like pores. The gloves when worn treat the wearer's hands as if they were complex for interactions with ninjutsu. The gloves allow interaction with chakra structures and the pores on the gloves themselves can produce threading from each fingertip. The threading can then attach to structures allowing them to be manipulated by pulling them. These threads are not unlike chakra threads in strength but are clearly visible. When finger tips are brought together the produced threads can fuse into one leading to garrote wire like executions.

Severin made his way over to the fight between the gennin and Inka, staying safely on the sidelines unlike Kagerou. He stood there fro some time, silent, his arms crossed as he watched. Neither one of the two males seemed likely to give up on the fight, he wondered what would stop them. If it got too out of hand he could of course try to calm them, but he ad a feeling that it'd be rude to invade their spar like that. Was their pride worth it though? How bad would they hurt eachother till they called it quits? Mentions of Jack kept hitting his ears, was this boy close to Jack at some point?
Something caught him breifly off guard as he watched Inka, the ferocity in his eyes, something primal deep down that wanted to let go. Severin knew he wouldn't, Inka was the protector of this village, that included that gennin as well. A shutter passed through the Raigyo, one he was almost unable to hide; partially a shutter of excitement, partially something more. Takeda shocked him as well, his was a different kind of ferocity, almost mad in it's own way. Was this the legacy of the Jack he heard so much about? Madness and violence? He was almost glad he was in a coma during his time as Mizukage; what a different man he might be would he have become a shinobi during that time. He wasn't sure if he'd like that version of him, someone who fought with bloodthirst and rage.
Takeda was the same rank as him in the same village, but he was nothing like him, almost alien in nature.

Kagerou was sincerely sorry that she had forgotten about Takeda’s attachment to the sword. She just didn’t have the time to remember it, but once she did realize, which was as Takeda filed a complaint about where Kagerou had dropped onto, she was quick to amend her mistakes. ”Sorry!” Kagerou hastily apologized as she tried to get off of Takeda’s back as quickly as possible. Her weight may have accidentally (?) assisted the Lord Mizukage’s maneuver, but she had at least moved quickly enough to avoid being pinned underneath Takeda. Although, when Kagerou heard the slam of Takeda’s body being pushed onto the ground and an worrying cracking sound, she started to wonder if maybe it would have been better to remain atop, and consequently getting pushed into the ground below, Takeda. Maybe having someone possibly drowning under the weight of the two would stop them from sparring so seriously right before a mission.
Kagerou wondered with her back to Inka and Takeda, <’A ninja must always be prepared to die.’ Alright. No.> That’s when she heard Takeda say a single, strongly voiced word.
”Oi,” Kagerou berated as she turned, ”Language!”. She didn’t know what he had said. Just that it was in another language and the tone meant it was supposed to be some sort of swear word.By that time, though, Takeda had very clearly ignored Inka’s warning and was now trying to get on top of the kage again.
Kagerou wondered from another angle as she watched Takeda give out potentially sensitive information about his body like it was candy, Maybe throwing a shoe at Takeda would get him to pipe down about his body, but at this point, his free information spiel was almost over.
At this point, Kagerou’s smile had disappeared. The apologetic smile from when she hopped off Takeda’s back had been replaced as she stood by watching Takeda and Inka exchange blows. It didn’t matter that she understood or anything. Seeing Takeda and Inka drive each other to such injuries pained Kagerou. She could be fine with it and accept it, which she mostly did, but that didn’t mean she had to enjoy it.
Not knowing what she should do right now, Kagerou looked to the audience for an answer. Everyone was excited. Only a few were like her, worried about what had sounded like something cracking in the young boy’s body. After all, this kind of fight was what the arena was for. Kagerou could stop it, and her grimace deepened as she contemplated what she could do, She didn’t know what the other person crowding the fighting pair would do now, but she figured that she could let this fight come to its own end.
Scratching her head over the little medical question Takeda posed, Kagerou was just about to let him finish his spar. She had turned to Severin, hoping she could get him to help her with treating the wounds of the combatants. Kagerou would have dragged Kumotake into this mess, too, but he had already left. If she could learn in the middle of a crisis, then Severin might be able to learn while waiting for the active spar to wind down. With Severin helping her, it would be a lot easier to get Takeda mission ready without having to stop by the hospital. Then Takeda started talking about his training. That had her pause. She saw the look in Severin’s eyes. The suspicion that she had become used to seeing in the eyes of those that talked of Jack and those close to him followed quickly by relief. How much of the audience was thinking the same after what Takeda mentioned?... To be honest, though, he hadn’t even said anything too strange. Anyone who wanted to be trained for a position close to any kage was expected to go through something just as taxing, or rather, just as taxing relative to what their body could handle… and what it couldn’t if their body just wasn’t good enough. From what Kagerou understood, Takeda had just gone through an incredibly taxing but relatively standard procedure. It was just Jack’s name that changed how it looked and sounded. She… kind of didn’t like the thought of that happening.
Kagerou looked behind her to the yet intertwined pair of genin and kage. If she used force to stop him and it succeeded, then Takeda would just seem more feral to the eyes of those sensitive like Severin, and he’d just attract even more of those same suspicious looks that had used to follow Jack and Shadow. The result would probably be the same if she just let them continue fighting because it didn’t feel like the Lord Mizukage currently gave a damn about public opinion at the moment, but… she would need to trust their interaction would turn out for the better. Kagerou couldn’t think of even a start to a plan to come between the two. At least nothing that satisfied her.
Kagerou turned back to Severin, watchful eyes missing the smile that would usually soften whatever expression Kagerou had. Of course, it wasn’t Severin’s fault that she didn’t have a smile, so Kagerou tried to quickly toss up a hasty smile. She did not yet have what was needed to stop some stranger from thinking one way or another, but she could at least start somewhere with one person. ”Severin,” Kagerou requested as she walked to the person she called, her right hand subtly shaking to create an attention-attracting ring of the bells on her right wrist, ”could you please help me with treating the Lord Mizukage and Takeddy Bear after their fight is over? It’s okay if you don’t know how. While we wait for them to finish, I can answer any questions you have.” She gave a half nod to the pair. Takeddy Bear. Taylor adjusted her glasses again when she basically caused a brief outburst of rage. Whoops. Not her intention at all. She could challenge a person sitting on the sidelines, but most of them were people she recognized from a younger class in the academy. She honestly didnt feel like fighting with those particular people.Inwardly she sighed, but outwardly she was unphased, watching the boy still. She tilted her head, just slightly and stayed within his line of sight. Maybe she could light more of a fire under his a**. She crossed her arms behind her back, hands clasped in each other and forced a small smirk onto her face. It didnt fit her. She immediately let it fall away and just stared in his dirrection, her face passive. She truly didnt know what else to do at the moment but watch the two self destruct on the matt.
Sev wasn't entirely sure exactly when he stopped paying attention to the fight in front of him, but something inside him drifted away from reality for a second. The movement, the shape, the color of Takeda's tendrils became hypnotizing for a heartbeat, reminding him of-- reminding him of what? His eyes became distant for a moment, as if staring through Takeda and Inka to something that wasn't exactly there. He felt the numbness that had haunted in the months he was in the hospital creeping back up on him, the world becoming frost-tipped as he spaced out. Flashes erupted behind the haze; a ringed hand, mud and blood, a shadowy face with millions of eyes, screams of pain. Like a waking dream he was suddenly there again, the ground lifting up underneath him in his home, the sound of wood scraping the house like metal-- scraping, screaming, straining. Mud bled up through the cracks like something living, and he heard the sounds of water like a river had opened up right beside him. Darkness wrapped around his mother in front of him, her sky blue eyes widened in fear, her porcelain skin swallowed by tendrils of something. He reached out for her as the floor opened up between them, separating them more. Her hand missed his just barely, fingers brushing against his, her screams for help getting more desperate. He had to help her, he needed to, he could. He was strong, he could save her; the words echoed over and over, bouncing around in his skull as panic shot through his veins like shards of glass, tearing him apart.
Kagerou's voice brought him back, and the male jumped slightly, blinking several times to chase away the images. The male closed his eyes, taking in a deep breath before letting it out in a shuttering exhale. What in the hell was that?, the male thought, running a hand through his silver hair that didn't fit in to the ponytail, his expression dazed for a moment before he regained his careful control. He dropped his hand, giving Kagerou a soft smile as she requested his help in treating both males once they were done beating the s**t out of each other. "I know very little in healing, Kagerou. I'm on the opposite side of the coin, my specialty falls with those techniques that shred, not mend. But yes, I am still a medical ninja, I will attempt to help in any way I can. My talents, though inexperienced and little they are, are yours to command." The male took the few short steps between him and the small girl, looking back at the fight. "They're really going at it. I have half the mind to attempt to stop them with my bloodline but... There seems to be something there, under the skin, that needs to be let out. For both of them." Crossing his arms once more, now guarded eyes watched the Kage and Gennin spar. "It's unhealthy to let things bottle up till they explode like this..."

There was something that whizzed through Sev’s eyes in the moments before Kagerou’s words formed. A brief flash of a look Kagerou had thought she had seen the last of month’s ago. Of course, that didn’t mean it had ceased. Memories such as these were not easy for many to simply quell. It just meant that they had grown fewer in number and Kagerou had found herself working away from such people. However, she saw it here and now in the eyes of someone she once helped, too quick for her to catch herself before she finished asking for help from the one who also looked like he needed help.
Worried, but her smile didn’t fade, neither was Kagerou fazed when Severin stepped closer to her. The concept of a personal bubble was one she had to often remind herself to be aware of for the comfort of those around her. When Severin gazed out to the fight, Kagerou’s smile and eyes remained on him, watching his face for the tiniest hints of relapse or even an act of trying to cover up the continued discomfort of whatever trauma had arisen within him. The man who stood before her was an actor, he had showed off as such mere minutes ago. Moreover, he was a ninja. Kagerou knew better than to trust a ninja… in the sense that, raised as she was, she believed that deceit was standard fare in any ninja’s training. Only deviants like her would choose to disadvantage themselves by choosing to neglect the art of fakery. Of course, she trusted her allies… she trusted them to do what they thought would be best. In this case, shuttering their feelings would be helping.
Bottom line was, Kagerou didn’t trust that Severin was okay. Eyes still staring up at Severin with minimal blinking, their subtle movements letting anyone who looked closely enough know that she was focusing in on tiny details here and there in regards to Sev’s expression, Kagerou replied to Severin, ”Yes. I don’t like what they’re doing right now, but I also think it might be for the best to leave them be. If anyone were to intervene, it might lead the public to think that the Lord Mizukage is unable to control his temper, much less lead the village. The same applies to Takeda. I believe in both of them, so I believe it’ll work out and they’ll stop themselves in a civilized manner when it’s right. Besides, if we’re talking from a chain of command, neither of us have the authority to really question the Mizukage’s actions and/or intervene,” because she was still listening while being suspicious. She didn’t have to think much about what to say. It was all thinking she had done earlier, when she had accepted that Takeda and Inka were out her hands. Admittedly, just her’s. If Severin had any ideas, then she wouldn’t mind the help. He was talking and under control despite his lapse, and she couldn’t just coddle him, after all.
Very politely, an equally patient messenger bird alighted on Kagerou’s shoulder while she spoke. It chirped a just loud enough alert, in case its landing wasn’t enough. Kagerou noticed it and she started untying the message off of the bird’s legs.
”If you don’t mind me saying, Severin, I think you should go and rest. It’s like you said, letting things bottle up until they explode isn’t good for anyone’s health, so relax while you can,” she suggested hopefully as she undid the knot, but in the end she didn’t force him back to bed, ”but… I won’t make you. To each their own, and another medic is always appreciated. I didn't know you'd become one. Well, I also didn't know you'd become a ninja. Heh. Congratulations.” That ever-present smile remained. She felt bad for Severin and bad for the Mizukage and the genin that were going to such lengths in what should have been a performance duel, but the former wouldn’t be helped by a smile and the latter she had already frowned and even grimaced for.
The bird, now without the message, fluttered away.
For the moment, Kagerou held this new message--from the size of it, a letter or something--in her hands. She continued talking, ”Admittedly, in some cases, maybe even the one right behind me, letting too many emotions out causes more harm than help,” with that calm smile as she stepped past Severin, trying to show with her actions and words that despite everything she said, she wouldn’t be against Severin stopping the fight. Kagerou slowly opened the letter just to see who the sender was. For whatever reason, though, there was no sender's name. She figured, but it also gave Kagerou more time to say what she needed to, ”If we can somehow help without being noticed-” before her smile froze. Maybe Severin wouldn’t notice the sudden stop, taking it as Kagerou ending on some kind of mysterious, “do what you will and I won’t say anything about it” note. She’d already stepped past him, so if he turned, he’d just see the back of her head, tilted down. He wouldn’t see the blood drained from Kageoru’s face as she realized there was only one person who could write the contents of this untitled letter: Shadow.

?He could feel her eyes on him, watching him for any sign that he might crack. He knew it well, all the medical shinobi looked at him as such, especially when they heard of his problems. All that would change about his outwards appearance despite the wheels in his mind spinning is the slight flex of his jaw, a slight sign of annoyance; not at Kagerou but at himself for his weakness. Here he was, allowing mental barriers to hold him back while two shinobi battled on in front of him, it bothered him to no end. He agreed with Kagerou, agreed that perhaps intervening could cause issues for Inka. But the longer he stood there, the more violent Takeda came and the more he realized Inka had a chance of slipping, losing control, realling hurting this kid. He had done so once before, he had full on stabbed him in the knee and dislocated his shoulder; mainly because the kid just wouldn't call it quits. Kagerou finally turned her gaze from him, allowing him to finally relax a little. He couldn't tell what the letter she was holding said, nor what her expression had change to, instead he cast his flowers once more. Inka's going to be pissed, he groaned internally. The idea of the kage's intensity turned on him once again like in the office sent a thrill through him, but this was for both their sake's. If the two males could be bothered to notice in between their spar, around 100 sunflower petals began to pop in to existence around them

The flower petals began to float somewhat different than normal around the two, gathering in an elevation about three meters from the ground. Sev focused hard, his doujutsu guiding the flowers in to the right location. He tried to bunch them around Takeda as much as possible, trying to avoid Inka as much as he could but since their spar was so close-combat, it was nearly impossible. He hoped Inka would forgive him for the interruption, or at least see that he tried to avoid him. He could see how emotives could be seen as a breech in trust; there was something underhanded about influencing someone's emotions away from something than what they would normally feel.

Next, Severin would focus his chakra in to the petals, calming his mind. As he focused his chakra in to the petals he would think of soft, calming breezes, a warm fire on a winter day, any calming thoughts he could think of. His doujutsu came alive, and pheromones exploded between the petals, echoing his thoughts. Anyone caught in these petals would begin to feel a calming feeling sweep over them, like the need to fight was suddenly blanketed in softness and pushed away. If either of the males were to look over, Severin's eyes would be pleading for forgiveness. He knew, he knew how much of a breech of trust this was, and he was sorry. He was willing to take all of either of the male's anger. If the two were successfully caught under the emotive, he would hold it for a while in till he was sure either wouldn't continue the fight, then cancel it once he felt it was safe.

Fields of natural flowers can be harvested quickly using this technique, doubling the amounts. The Taju version, for an A-ranked amount, can create either 48 flowers or 1600 petals. This is the second Jutsu connected with the Raigyo, which does the opposite of the Eizou Kihaku, allowing a user to 'force' their own emotions temporarily upon others, via the medium. It is enough to bring tears to the eyes, make one smile or laugh, and make one growl or throw a tantrum. • These are simple emotions, and not capable of doing much. • Double casting this allows for complex emotions, such as happy/sad, angry/confused, etc. • Requires a medium.
[･･･] Inka's right hand was still holding the kunai, streaked with Takeda's blood, and the Godaime didn't even have time to properly register the genin's attack. The kunai was hauled up in an upward repel, cutting into skin in it's force to knock Takeda's arm up and away from Inka's body. But also unbalanced the Godaime, so he went with Takeda's roll, once again ending up underneath the Genin - Inka pivoted his hips with the roll, trying to keep the momentum going, attmepting to fling the kid off and to the side...
Inka snapped his teeth as the genin remained on top, pinning his taller frame down and in the water. The Godaime's black clothes clung to his frame, soaked and cold. He hated the ******** cold...
"Human bodies," Inka snarled. One hand clasped the kunai, the other in the water, body hunched upward and inward slightly and balanced on the left elbow, ready to spring forward. "Are soft. And I..." Inka's lips pulled back further, what he was originally going to say obviously being thrown aside for another direction. "I'm a killer, Takeda Shirai. Not a teacher. Never a teacher." A ripple of something indescribable flickered through Inka's dark eyes. "Not in this." He added softly - the pushed off from the left elbow; free hand wrapping tight around the front of Takeda's throat, the kunai coming up in the right hand. Lips parted to speak, but Inka's lips pulled back into another snarl and his head canted to the side slightly. Flower petals? The blade pointed at Takeda's neck suddenly shifted - flipping in the hand to be defensive, and was held behind the Genin's head in a protective gesture. Inka had seen these flower petals before and...
Red eyes landed on the crowd around them. Each genin was looked in the eye, the Godaime seeking the guilty party. These flower petals... Inka had seen flower petals on Kumotake's stage performance, recognised their sudden appearance as he watched as some kind of jutsu. But Kumotake was not there, which left the others involved as the most likely culprits... Severin, Taylor, and Kagerou were there -
"Severin Raigyo...!" The words were spat even as Inka's mind was only just consciously coming to the report that had been laid at his desk - the one describing all Academy graduates... The hand that was wrapped around Takeda's throat was tapping the shoulder to let him up, to allow the drenched Godaime to stand at his full height and lean glory, red eyes sharp and teeth displayed in an angry snarl. Inka pointed the kunai at Severin. "My office." The Mizukage spoke - voice as cold as the water. "Now." He then turned his attention to Takeda. "And you," Inka went to holster the kunai. "You have a mission to be readying for, not selfishly ignoring the fact that your team will be a member down if you get seriously injured. Training means nothing if you can't be trusted. By the village, your teammates, any one of the civilians." Inka flicked his arm out, sending water flying from his tanned limb. "Minami." He called. The anbu stepped up, holding out the black robe of the Kage for Inka to grab. "You want to be a swordsman of Kirigakure, Takeda Shirai, then you have far more to learn than how to draw blood." Inka gazed down in a cold gaze, his own pride roiling behind the mask in want to continue the battle. "Being denied from what you want is something perhaps you should see more of."
When the enemy attack closes in, the user will repel with the knife with an upward slashing motion. This upward repel may have enough exerting force to startle or offset the enemy. Gains a slight increase to speed per rank.

Personal Attributes: • Last Resort : When a fatal strike is headed towards Inka's way he can use an emergency reserve of chakra and stamina to disrupt the attack but in doing so he must immediately flee. • Family Legacy : Katon jutsu is not beaten by Suiton jutsu one rank lower, and cancels out Suiton jutsu of same rank. • Paternal : Should Inka believe his son is in danger his attacks increase in power by a moderate amount.
That knife shot out once more, and Takeda found himself regretting his choice to not strip him of his projectile equipment while he had the chance. I'l have to cover that base in the future. The knife cut just deep enough to slice through the tendrils building up chakra, interrupting his jutsu. It didn't hurt enough to really phase him though, having a searing hole in your shoulder could do that. The difference in momentum and strength between their strikes led to his arm not being knocked away, but the jutsu definitely was a no-go. Shame. At that point his right arm was quite screwed up, but he still managed to grasp onto Inka's arm. That grab was what led to him having the upper hand at the end of the roll that ensued after Inka's counter, forcing him down. "I don't care." Was his simple retort when the kage told him he was more a killer than a teacher. The jiongu knew his opponent wasn't dumb enough to let his other arm stay slack. He raised his left hand out to defend against Inka's grab, leading the kage to his forearm rather than his neck. Still, the kunai...although he didn't prefer letting his tendrils use up so much of his body, he allowed the symbiotic entity to extend from the permanent dark sigils that existed beneath his eyes, in particular the right one in order to parry the kunai to the side, however the black appendages made contact with only air. "What are you...I...?" His fierce eyes would've finally calmed somewhat, eyebrows not as furrowed, the red hues rippling on the surface until they formed the bright blue that belonged to his Raiton heart. Flower petals adorned the peripherals of his vision, that coupled with the feeling of overwhelming peace was like a bucket of ice water dumped on top of his head. It wasn't long before he heard the name spill from Inka's lips. Severin Raigyo. Had to be new. Nobody in their right mind would attempt such a sloppy genjutsu directly after being told the target was trained directly by Jack. Only new blood would be unaware of that mans raw talent and fearsome skill in the subject.
When Takeda got off of Inka, it wasn't solely a sportsmanlike choice, he just needed both of his hands for the time being. Clasping them together, he formed his fingers into the seal for the Kai technique in order to disperse whatever was distorting his emotions. Red pooled back to the surface of his eyes like a ruby shimmering to life. "I'm not the only one who has more to learn. Inka...you only started getting serious once you thought of how the situation looked on the surface, didn't you? The Genin pressuring the Mizukage. I was fine with things. If you didn't act so weak from the start, we could've had more fun, but you're the one who lost his cool, not me. I was just trying to fight. I don't know what got you so ******** worked up." While it seemed like he was done, he mumbled a few more words under his breath such as "telling me to stop..." and "I didn't even get to use my weapon..." It was obvious he still had his grievances, but Inka wasn't entirely wrong about the fact that he had a mission to do. "Besides, that seriously injured stuff is crap. I could just rip out my heart and I'd probably be fine after that, or Kagerou could just heal me. There's medics all over for the performance duels. It sounds like you're just forcing a pointless lecture on me to ignore the one that you really need for yourself." Back-talking the village leader probably wasn't the best idea, but he had quite the casual relationship with Jack in their six months together. While it was definitely a teacher-student environment, he wasn't restricted from saying what was on his mind.
Walking away from the Mizukage, he stopped near Severin and Kagerou. "If it was you, I wouldn't care. We have a mission, so I'd understand you stopping me." The words were obviously directed to the green-haired Uchiha, his eyes turning to the snow-locked raigyo next. "As for you, my fight is none of your business. You don't carry responsibility for the Mizukage, and you damn sure don't look after me. Next time you shove your hands into my business I'll seriously break them. Same village doesn't mean we're friends." That was that. If Kagerou wanted to mend things with Severin or catch up to her teammate, he wouldn't fault her either way. If nobody stopped him, he'd just continue on his way to the exit so he could reach the office. It wasn't good for him to be around people when he was in such an irritable mood anyways.

Except Shadow should have been dead, but this was explained in the letter, along with circumstances and events she had been completely unaware of. Her smile dropped as her expression unfroze, replaced by something completely blank. As her eyes scanned through what she had already skimmed, it was no wonder that Kagerou wondered if she was even supposed to know even half of what this said, and if she was thinking like that, then didn't that mean that this information was better off in the hands of someone who had been closer in position to Shadow and Jack? Someone who was now filling the very same position Jack once filled? Inka? It seems Shadow also expected this, as his last sentence addressed this question somewhat. Kagerou didn't want to give up the letter to someone else, even to the Mizukage for the sake of the village and... probably as someone who knew Shadow better than she did and would thus be that much more appreciative of having something to remember him by. She couldn't finish that thought, though.
The letter, by being what it implied to be, was of great importance, but the present commanded a quantity of attention that was hard to compete against. Even though she wasn't done with her reading, Kagerou raised her head at the Mizukage's shout for Severin Raigyo. She looked behind her, face still pale but now marked with confusion. The confusion was only momentary present as Kagerou quickly reattached herself to the present happenings. was Kagerou's first concern. It was followed quickly by, There was so much no in what he had just said and done to the Mizukage and Severin. She felt a great urge to give him a good whack on the head and make him bow and apologize to everyone right then and there. Except, her reflexes still felt dull from the shock of the letter she had received, and Takeda's emotions right now were a book opened to the page of distracted disgruntlement. He clearly wasn't paying much heed to his surroundings. Right now wasn't the time to try and make him fix his problems immediately, in public no less.
Her eyes followed Takeda as he left, and by the time she turned back around to face the Mizukage and Severin, Kagerou had already started taking calming breaths. Her hands tightened their grip on the letter, but remained ever conscious and careful of crumpling the delicate paper. She gave one glance at it, not really looking at what was written so much as she looked at the letter in general, and folded it back into the envelope it had been brought in.
Could she smile right now? Could she muster that disarmingly friendly expressions that usually came so naturally? Um... No. It didn't even feel appropriate. Once she had finished with the letter and envelope, Kagerou issued a quick apology to Severin, "I'm sorry, Severin, for not stopping you, and I even said it might be a good idea at the end. As for Takeda, he's... I also apologize on his behalf. Please... don't think too badly of him." As she spoke, Kagerou lowered her head with a somber expression. Her words were not muttered, but rather said loudly and clearly. The first part, in particular, was said so that even the Mizukage could hear that Severin was not the only one to blame.
Talking about the Mizukage, after a quick, "Now if you'll excuse me," Kagerou approached the honorable village leader next.
”Inka-sama, if I may say something,” she greeted respectfully, her voice carefully under control to avoid the pitfall of ums and ahs that plagued perfectly good words. Once she had his attention her upper body would dip into a bow, a clean 45 degree angle at her waist. Quickly but also clearly, she said what she wanted to say just in case it might help anyone, "My name is Kagerou Uchiha. I’ll be going on a mission with Takeda Shirai shortly, but before that, I would like to say some things. I’m sorry for interrupting the spar earlier. Also, I hope that you won’t hold what Takeda just said and what Severin just did against them too much. Takeda’s words may have gone too far, but I think his frustration twisted what he meant to say. As for Severin, I would have done the same as him if I only had the courage and means to. It’s not justification for his actions, in and of itself, but I hope you take into consideration that he wasn’t the only person to think that maybe the arena fight was going too far.” As she spoke, even though she tried hard to keep it out of her voice, little pauses of hesitation cracked in here and there. She partially expected the Mizukage to know more than she did regarding Takeda and Severin, especially Takeda considering his past. If he knew more, than there was little point in Kagerou saying what she did, but she didn’t know if that was the case, which was why she kept on until the end.
After her apologies and polite excuses, Kagerou raised her body. Although, even though her spine straightened, she was not done speaking yet. At first, her eyes slid to the side, uncertain and hesitant about meeting the Mizukage’s after all she said. She still doubted that she was in any position to say any of that. Although, like with all of her doubts, it was short-lived. Besides, a stronger reason compelled her eyes to return and stare back into the new Mizukage’s eyes. Like so many others in the village, he, too, had strange, changing eyes. Kagerou wasn’t one of them. Her eyes were expressive, just like how they changed so fluidly from a hesitant avoidance to an earnest and direct approach, but they had never truly changed. Nothing of the fickle fire or the unpredictable wind that were her elements could be seen in her eyes, which ever calmly remained the same. Similarly, her smile had already returned, so quickly after the apology and even more so after reading Shadow’s letter. In the end, at least Shadow was alive, right? Shock aside, the letter was actually good news.
Although even then, the smile wasn’t a particularly joyous one, more polite than anything. It was the kind most would associate with someone making a request, which was exactly what Kagerou spoke to the Mizukage about next. Kagerou asked, ”There is one last thing I’d like to ask. May I pass a letter on to you? A…,” her eyes darted to and fro as she paused as she tried to think of how to say what she wanted without revealing what she didn’t, ”friend wrote to me about something I would like you to see. I know that this is not the appropriate channel for a genin and this information might not be anything new, but... I…,” more eye darting, this time to find an excuse for what could possibly make a genin think to talk to the kage directly, ”I hope you look at it anyways,” Kagerou couldn’t think of a reason, so she tried to gloss it over. After saying all this, Kagerou politely extended the said letter, which she had gripped tightly in both hands this entire time, towards the Mizukage. Hopefully he would take it, and once he did, she would quickly and quietly bow a farewell before turning on her heels to run after Takeda.

• Grand Performance - The user can perform both types of arts (ninjutsu and genjutsu) through their performance or instrument, often casting them at the same time (must pay for both techniques). Can perform D rank techniques through instrument at gennin, C at Chunnin, B at jounin, A at Konin, and S at Sannin.

• Miracle Performance - Kagerou can perform healing eiseijutsu through her performance/instrument as if it was ninjutsu of the same rank. When performing healing medical techniques, she can target anyone who can hear her music with the jutsu. I.e. she no longer has to be within touch range of the target to use healing hands.
• Calamity Performance - Kagerou can perform offensive eiseijutsu through her performance/instrument as if it was ninjutsu of the same rank. When performing offensive medical techniques, she can target anyone who can hear her music with the jutsu. I.e. she no longer has to be within touch range of the target to use killing hands. Harmful eiseijutsu cast in this manner is guaranteed to hit as long as the condition of sound is met, but it takes one post to manifest its effects. In that time, the technique can be nullified by matching the energy (chakra/stamina/whatever else) cost Kagerou paid to use the entire jutsu, including any extra costs for additions/modifications. Those afflicted by harmful eiseijutsu cast in this manner become aware that if they do not spend the required amount of chakra/stamina, then bad things will happen to their body. The target(s) will have a vague sense of how bad the damage will be, but do not know what exactly will happen.
• Dream Audience - Kagerou's dream is to help as many as she could. From this desire, the dream world manifested the power to multiply the recipients of all of her eiseijutsu techniques. With neither extra effort nor decrease in power, Kagerou can affect two extra targets for each eiseijutsu activation as long as they fulfill the requirements to be a target (i.e. contact for most eiseijutsu by default or sound when Kagerou performs eiseijutsu). Past the starting two, she must spend a total of 5(n-3)+10 energy split evenly between chakra and stamina for each additional target; n = number of targets. Odd energy costs are split with 1 more point of stamina than chakra. This additional cost cannot be reduced or refunded.
• The Good Host - 1/2 off all implant chakra requirements.
• Mind and Body I - A sound soul resides in a sound mind and a sound body. To ensure the health of all three, Kagerou must master every aspect of medicine. Kagerou gains an additional medical field type. The additional type needs to be trained separately from the first.

Low-grade fertilizer yields crops in 1 week. High-grade fertilizer reaches a new level of fast and yields crops in 4 days. (Post-acceptance note: I just realized that there is an Evergreen religion in this guild. I did not mean for this to be a religious PA in any way. It's just botany. I hope that's not a problem.)
Mental walls snapped shut as Inka's furious gaze fell on Sev, completely ignoring the silent apology he offered. The boy, Takeda, was no less angry at him; offering outright physical violence against him. Severin's face kept it's composure, his noble mask, as he stood strong against them both. He was in more familiar territory now, people being pissed at him. Kagerou tried to blame herself, to apologize to him for egging him on but it wasn't her fault. He was his own man with his own decisions, and this decision had been his. She also apologized for Takeda, but the ll male just shook his head. "Do not apologize for other people, Kagerou. Each man has his problems, and I do not know Takeda; I cannot judge a man on just one action. Books do not have one page."
He bowed to Inka as Kagerou spoke to him, his face still a carefully measured mask. He wasn't sure if it was the breech of trust or the disruption of the fight that had raised the ire of the older male, maybe it was both. He made a mental note to study the effects of Kai on his bloodline in the future, dispersed his petals in to brilliant flickering ash, then turned on his heel following Kagerou and left the Kage by himself in the brackish water. He did not falter, did not turn around, his moonlight hair flowing behind him like a lazily whisp.

Kagerou was sincerely sorry that she had forgotten about Takeda’s attachment to the sword. She just didn’t have the time to remember it, but once she did realize, which was as Takeda filed a complaint about where Kagerou had dropped onto, she was quick to amend her mistakes. ”Sorry!” Kagerou hastily apologized as she tried to get off of Takeda’s back as quickly as possible. Her weight may have accidentally (?) assisted the Lord Mizukage’s maneuver, but she had at least moved quickly enough to avoid being pinned underneath Takeda. Although, when Kagerou heard the slam of Takeda’s body being pushed onto the ground and an worrying cracking sound, she started to wonder if maybe it would have been better to remain atop, and consequently getting pushed into the ground below, Takeda. Maybe having someone possibly drowning under the weight of the two would stop them from sparring so seriously right before a mission.
