That was a rather intimidating pokemon, but Fletchling didn’t let it get to her. Instead she gave a chirp of excitement, flapping her wings and immediately going for a tackle the moment she was told to attack.

”Alright, alright, it looks like I’ve been beat.” The young man remarked as he returned his fainted pokemon, giving a little sigh of defeat. Sebastian smiled, watching as Fletchling hopped over to him, wings flapping in enthusiasm over her multiple wins. Sebastian knelt down, giving the little bird a gentle pat on the head. "You did good, Fletchling. Go ahead and take a break for a bit." She chirped once more, little wings still flapping as she was returned to her ball. Spade returned to hovering right next to Sebastian’s leg, having moved off to sit next to Blackjack as their trainer did battle, twitching and watching the skater curiously.
”Alright, so a deals a deal. Give me a second, okay?” The young man said, Sebastian giving him a nod of confirmation. Only a minute or two later and the skater had returned with what looked to be a relatively new set of roller skate attachments, that seemed to sort of “hook on” to the bottoms of his shoes. After a quick explanation of how to get them on and adjusted, Sebastian was on his new blades, grinning like an idiot.
"These are awesome! Thank you so much!" He replied with enthusiasm, still eyeing up the roller skates. The skater just nodded, arms folded over his chest as he watched what looked like a child getting their most wanted present on their birthday. ”No problem! I hope you enjoy them and be careful okay?” Sebastian just gave a steady nod, saluting the young man before beginning to head on his way for the cave.

Rose was about to move closer to her new Rhyhorn when she noticed she had some messages, especially one from Marx. It looked like Fynx was right, and her friends had somehow gotten head of her. And Marx, miraculously, had actually made it to Ambrette all on his own, it seemed. "It's okay. I'll be there real soon!" Rose sent her message to her friend, then got back to approaching her rocky rhino. He grunted as she approached, and Fynx's ears turned back as she seemed to pick up on something her trainer was thinking of. "Rose, don't-" Fynx started to say, but it was too late. Rose was already in motion towards her pokemon, hopping up on his back. "Come on, let's see how fast you are!" she cheered. The Rhyhorn was not pleased, to say the least. Luckily for Rose, he was more startled than angered, but started running forward nonetheless.

Fynx was forced to chase down her trainer as the new member of the team bolted forward. Luckily, the fox was able to use her psychic powers to move anyone out of the way gently. She sighed heavily though, as the rhyhorn made it's way rather quickly to Connecting Cave. What had gotten into her trainer? It seemed like such a silly thing for her to go and do. But she had to admit, it was well within the bounds of that girl's personality. Perhaps it was just the excitement getting to her. "You better not get hurt..." Fynx grumbled, following along.

With Siemens perched happily upon her shoulder Alexandra entered Camphrier Town, more than a bit relieved to finally be out of the 'big city'; she wasn't one to be afraid of large crowds, though she was still battling with a smidge of claustrophobia, but there was some comfort in knowing that she could spread her arms without bumping into anyone and let her pokemon roam a little father. Obsidian certainly appreciated the latter, bolting forward when he saw a pokemon lounging on the side of the road. The perfect pokemon to battle!

Obsidian yipped victoriously after his win, shaking his fur out in a habit that, Alexandra was quickly noticing, he did so after every battle. Perhaps his fur felt heavy on him and he just felt the need to fluff himself out, either way it was an adorable quirk that she only felt the need to note and not question. She started forward with her pokemon, Obsidian following behind but only after taking on an unlucky Ducklett who chose to alight on the ground too close to him.

With cobblestone paths and the battle chateau nearby he realized that this was just another example of Kalos style. He wouldn't be spending too much time here still but he wouldn't mind stopping back in on his way back to Johto. He had no way of discerning just how strong they would be and at the moment it really wasn't one of his top concerns. He had a sneaking suspicion that Grant in Cyllage would be more difficult than anyone who would face him at the chateau at this moment. He was more interested in heading towards Cyllage anyways. As he wandered across the river in his nonchalant way he walked passed the Chateau and towards the cave that connected this region with the next.
