Well, he had been doing a good job with battling so far.A little treat wouldn't hurt. One of those berries I picked up back in Unova should do the trickthe teen thought as she pulled out one of the blue, wavy berries that she had acquired, then knelt down and held it out to the tan and creame Pokemon."Yeah, you should get something good. You've been doing a great job against our opponents, so yeah, you get a treat."The little Pokemon blinked once, not even considering the idea of begging for something, then let out several happy yips before scarfing down the berry. It wasn't his favorite flavor, and was even a little bitter, but it was still a pretty good berry for what it was.

If he did, she hadn't heard it. The red-haired trainer then gave Ezra a wave before wandering off to go look around the town for something else to battle against. Jin also waved once before following after his trainer, while the Eevee padded along nearby.

After the teen gave herself a bit of distance from where Ezra was at, she noticed another one of those odd Pokemon causing trouble. It was a Mareep with a black body and a snow white coat of fleece. For some reason, the electric sheep was going around trying to zap people with some electric attack or other."Oi! Knock it off, furball!"the teen shouted as she quickly moved towards the Pokemon, mostly trying to get its attention. She certainly got it, and ended up getting punished for her rather short-sighted way of distracting the Pokemon by getting electrocuted. The shock knocked the teen to her knees and winded her, but for the most part she was alright. The attack hadn't been a powerful one, being only a Thundershock.
Aroma chirped with an annoyed tone at her new trainer, having gotten off the teen's shoulder just in time to avoid getting caught in the attack. Jin looked rather peeved as well as he pulled Sable up to her feet."What the heck were you thinking?! That thing's not here to play around!"the dark-haired male hissed in the teen's ear, growling a bit when the girl let out a sigh."Hey, I got its attention. Now it won't focus on the other people around here."Jin's eyes narrowed a bit at his trainer's explanation, but he didn't argue when the girl got her hand to poke at her Snivy's ball.
Frowning, the female trainer tried to worm her way out of Jin's grip so that she could straighten up. It was probably for the best that she was unsuccessful, though, as she was still more than a bit wobbly from the electrocution. Not that she'd openly admit that to any of the Pokemon she had out at the moment."Right... Hit that little lamb with a Tackle!"the teen called out, although she sounded somewhat ragged at the moment. The grass starter gave his trainer a glance, then rammed into the Mareep before getting swatted back by a glowing tail.
Sable blinked a couple of times in surprise, then frowned."Guess that answers a few things... Question is, was it released, or is its trainer lurking somewhere...?"Jin raised an eyebrow and glanced at his trainer when he heard her muttering, wondering for a moment if she suspected something was off from the moment the girl had seen the Pokemon. He didn't have much time to dwell on that thought, though, as his trainer gave her Snivy another command."One more should do it. Tackle!"
Once more the grass type slammed into the sheep Pokemon, but this time the Mareep paused. It seemed to consider something a moment, then bounded off towards the city's southern exit. Sable let out a light sigh, then tried once more to tug her arm away from Jin. The disguised Zorua wasn't letting go quite that easily, though, and even adjusted his grip to make it a bit harder for the female trainer to squirm away. The two glowered at one another for a moment, but eventually Sable's expression softened into one of defeat as she let out a heavier sigh. "If you're gonna do this, you might as well help me get to a bench so I can sit down."The disguised Zorua nodded at his trainer's words, then helped the teen over to somewhere a bit out of the way so that she could sit for a while.

It didn't take long for Jin to find a bench for his trainer to sit on. Once the male had lowered Sable down so that she could take a seat without risking a fall from the lingering effects of her little zap, he sat down nearby on the same bench. A few moments passed as the red and gold Snivy hopped up to get his injuries treated, both the disguised Zorua and his trainer remaining silent. The only noises came from the Eevee and Spritzee chatting with one another and the Snivy whimpering from getting a stinging liquid sprayed onto his wounds. Aside from that, the duo did not have anything to worry about for a while.
The silence was eventually broken when Jin decided to speak up."So... What were you thinking when you challenged that Mareep?"he asked, although he sounded a lot less irritated this time around. Sable had a thin frown as she considered something, then glanced over at the disguised Zorua as she let her Snivy hop off her lap."I was thinking..."The teen paused for a moment, then huffed quietly before starting up again."I was thinking that Pokemon aren't normally this bold around humans. At least, not unless they've had a trainer for a significant amount of time."
Sable huffed once more and pursed her lips as she thought about what to say next."That Swirlix earlier didn't seem to be concerned at all about possible repercussions to its behavior, same with that Mareep. At least, from what little I could tell. Kind of hard when I can't see and someone else is busting a gut,"the teen explained, giving Jin a light glare as she spoke. It wasn't anything serious, though, and the disguised Zorua quickly caught on to that as he leaned away from the teen and held up his hands in a sort of mock defensive position.
"Sorry, sorry! I couldn't help it~ It just looked so silly, sis,"he replied with a playful smile as if it were a viable defense for his actions, then straightened up and took on a more serious expression. Even his voice sounded rather serious once he started talking again."You've got a point, though. That Exeggcute your Eevee took on while you were cleaning up also seemed a bit too quick to start a fight. Most of the Pokemon we've been encountering lately have been, for that matter... You're thinking someone's been sending their Pokemon to mess with this city or something like that?"The Zorua thought he was on to something, but frowned when a shake of his trainer's head told him otherwise.
"Not quite. If that was the case, I wouldn't have been able to catch that Ekans. It's not-"As Sable corrected Jin, she had to inhale sharply to cut herself off. After slowly letting out that short breath, she started up with her explanation once more."...Possible for a trainer's Pokemon to be captured by any kind of Pokeball,"the teen finished, then glanced towards the city's southern exit to avoid noticing the curious look the disguised Zorua was giving her. She knew her reaction to her own words was strange, but she was in no mood to provide the dark type with an explanation. Especially when she hardly understood the thing she didn't want to mention.

The red-haired teen huffed, but this time took the offered hand for support."Alright. Fine. It just takes a while for me to get back up,"the teen mumbled as she regained her footing. She knew that she still felt woozy from the fight, but she wasn't keen on showing that she needed help. Unfortunately from her point of view, it looked like she was going to have to swallow her pride a bit and use her dark type buddy as a crutch. First chance she got, though, she was going to go back to moving on her own two feet.

Sable took a moment to use a free hand and recall her Snivy, then trudged through the City as she made her way back towards where she had last spotted Ezra. Jin walked with her so that he could prop the teen up, at least until she could actually walk on her own without falling over due to a stray gust of wind. It wasn't that far of a walk to get to the Pokemon center, but by the time they reached it, neither Ezra nor Avonlea were nearby. All that was there was a rather irritated-looking Mareep with a black body and a white coat, and sparks shot out from the electric type's body when the creature caught sight of the two people approaching the building. Sable didn't have much time to do anything other than take a step away from Jin before she was once again electrocuted, although at least the dark type wasn't caught up in the hit. If he were, his illusion would have been broken, and he wouldn't have been able to step back over and keep the teen from collapsing. One hit was bad enough, but two in one day? That was a bit much.
Sable groaned between sharp breaths for a few moments while her Eevee attacked the electric sheep. All it took was one good ram and down went the Mareep for the second time that day."Great... But looks like we... Can't just leave it... It'll just keep attacking..."the teen muttered as she shakily grabbed at one of the empty balls she carried, then tossed it at the Pokemon. It wasn't a good toss, but it still sucked the sheep inside and, after a few shakes, pinged to confirm the capture. Sable couldn't help but blink a few times as the Eevee pawed the ball to roll it back to his trainer."...I honestly didn't... Expect that to work..."The female trainer lightly shook her head in amazement, but quickly stopped when she felt dizzy.
Jin nodded as he held onto his trainer the best as he could, then looked around for a moment before settling his eyes on the building nearby."Looks like you'll need to sit for longer after all,"he said as he half-escorted and half-dragged Sable into the Pokemon center, pausing momentarily to allow the Eevee to paw the ball past the automatic doors and scamper in. He wasn't going to make the little guy sit outside while his trainer needed a good rest, after all."We'll go back to training later. For now, you're going to sit there until you're able to move without my help,"he said rather bluntly as he eased the teen onto the couch so she could lay down if she wanted.
