The trainee walked to the stands and saw someone sitting there, a female.
"Uh, excuse me, but is this where the basic sparring is by chance?" the trainee asked lightly.

His voice trembled as he hugged her. "Nami..."

"You were scared, too. Weren't you?" He hugged her tighter.
She hugged him back and looked away, her cheeks slightly pink. "Well, yeah... Sort of..."

"using this bow staff is heavy. Is the key blade heavy like this as well?" void asked as he continued to practice"I'm not seeing how still dummies will help me improve blocking and guarding." Void thought about why he was here, than quickly changed the thought getting distracted.

"The name came from the idea of always taking in and never giving. But void was a name they gave me cause i learned a lot about there studies." Void said ominously as he worked on stabs and swings, be coming tired.

Tokio appeared before the new trainee and grinned. "If its heavy, you'll have to train against the dummy to get a better understanding of handling a weapon." Where was Tsuyoi? Shouldn't she be doing her duties helping the newbie. Nah, Tokio had to at least look out for the guy. First, he had to show him a demonstration. "Here." Tokio used a basic wooden katana and beat the sandbag with a blunt blow, sending it backwards. "Its time and patience to effectively improve your strength and prowess. I suggest you train on a daily basis." Sounding like a teacher, Tokio was really enjoying this inwardly. He stepped to the side. "C'mon, give it a good wack. When you think your ready, come and spar with me."

Void's head became angry as his grip on the bow staff tighted.
spar with him.Why spar against someone more trained than me.
"ill spar, these dummies don't attack back. I need to know how to block and guard against attack sir." Void said, but frowned hearing someone whisper in his ear, only to know, this sub-conscious slowly making out a plan.

Tokio poised himself in a fighting stance. "Alright. Come at me with everything you got." His usual grinning, carefree attitude slightly became focused and serious. He wasn't going to be rough on him, knowing this guy was far less trained than him. This IS basic sparring class. Now, posing himself as a wannabe teacher, Tokio was going to teach him the basics through sparring. Actions speaks louder than words it seemed.

Void ran at Tokio, but flipped the bow staff swinging at an upward angle from bottom left to top right. His face serious with determination, and his eyes studying every move his opponent makes.

Tokio could easily read the way he moves. He decided to dodge the first attack, but slant his katana to block the second incoming attack. The boy matched the strength of the blow from his opponent with his gold defense. Tokio pushed Void back slightly, to come in for a swift chain of attacks from his wooden katana. It was swung in a downward angle, before proceeding to horizontal swing. The finishing move would be a thrust to the stomach, which would send ol' Void back with minor gut pain.
