But seriously, this one had escaped my notice. I'd be willing to add favored class bonuses for this one just because it fits with the setting. As far as I've read, though, it seems like this class gets somewhat underpowered at higher levels, since they're stuck with a maximum of 4th level spells, and that's really all they do. Which isn't really an issue if you're okay with that. I guess they get away with casting as many spells as they can manage to pack into a single item in one round, but again, it's still limited by spell level.

I'd put a few of my own restrictions on it, too. Whatever device you end up making isn't going to be small and light. If you have to end up carrying a number of devices each day equal to your level, you'd better hope your encumbrance can handle it unless you really are loading as many spells into a single device as you can manage.

Artificer] Add a +1/2 bonus on checks made to craft magic items.

Artificer] Reduce by 1/3 the DC for the Use Magic Device check required for someone who is not an artificer to activate a weird science device (minimum DC 10).
Gobling Favored Classes
Artificer] Reduce the time required to build a weird science device by 10 minutes per spell level (minimum 2 hours per spell level).
Gremling Favored Classes
Artificer] Add +1/4 to the DC of enchantment spells imbued into magic items and weird science devices.

Fixed an error and added some favored class bonuses.
