As he wandered the town, something caught Jin's eye. A very determined looking girl was storming off somewhere with a sword and she did not look pleased. A scowl creased his lips and he slipped back into the crowds to follow Chi from a distance. From the fire in her eyes, Jin knew no good would come of this, but he knew he could only observe for now. If she planned on harming the forest or its animals in some way, then he'd act.

((Okay. Anything to get some interaction.))

Ayala strolled through the marketplace, finishing off the apple in her hand. She plucked out the seeds and put them in a little pouch on her belt, looking for somewhere to deposit the core. As she looked around, she saw a bit of a commotion caused by a young woman with a sword. "What's going on over there?" she murmured to herself. She passed an alley and dropped the apple core for the rats hiding in the shadows, then she continued toward the young woman. People moved out of her way, seeing the crossed swords on her back and feeling the confident, calm aura she gave off.

The man seemed calm and pleasant enough. He said he didn't want anything but Pozlaceny could only be so sure; people were greedy these days and always wanted things. She listened to him speak, she was good at that, as she stared into her lap. He seemed to be an interesting fellow. She ran another hand through her hair and cleared her throat. "That's very..." She closed her eyes and gave a small, soft sigh to herself, "Depressing," she murmured, though mostly to herself. She would've thought she could be a famous writer by now but this town...well, let's say she wasn't as reknown nor as famous as she thought. The fact that this man did not recognize her also meant that he was probably in town since most of the locals here pretty much knew everyone. She opened her eyes and watched his almost tranquil expression. To be able to convey such calmness about himself...it was almost godly. Pozlaceny picked up her pen and held it up, showing it to him. "If I was writing anything...Well, I'm doing a pretty bad job at it." She gave an almost defeated smile and set the pen back down.

"And no, you weren't disturbing my work. I was just suprised; people are so absorbed with their own lives, they don't bother with others," she said in a rather solemn tone. She looked into his eyes, as if trying to get at what he was getting to, before speaking once again. "But yes, I'm a writer. Though I'm not exactly well-known around these parts because I'm so young, I'd like to consider myself as an aspiring author." She was glad that someone sounded interested. The word 'fan' seemed to twinkle in her eyes

Zaco wondered what the lady might mean when she mentioned it being depressing, but would not dig into it - no doubt it would just burden her mind. But more importantly - Yes, she was a writer. His eyes brightened up at that fact. Most excellent. More humans ought to take up that trade, certainly more peaceful and pleasant than killing each other.

Zaco crouched down to be on eye-level with her as she was sitting down. His eyes went to her scribbles, now noticing that she indeed must have been having trouble writing. Perking up, Zaco looked up at her face. "Youth means you still have much time to learn." He stated gladly.
"Might I offer some assistance? No strings attached. I would simple be pleased to see a new story be born into this dreary world." To inspire a world renown novel, that would be as close as he would come to writing one himself.

((Hahah, comes down to the actual scene itself I suppose.))

Pozlaceny's face had warmed up, her eyes alight with something of the sense of enticement. Though very skeptic of people and natural a very cynical person, when it came to writing, well, no matter who it was, she would be fond of them. She crossed her legs and leaned forward, yet kept wary of his personal space, and offered a smile, as if greedy to hear what the man had to say.

His mentioning of her age, well, that couldn't be helped. She was a young writer, one who set off very early in her life, sixteen, to travel around. The abrupt death of her parents had forced her to withdraw on her experience. She still had time, yes, of course. She was nineteen for heaven's sakes! Yet Pozlaceny was ever impacient, and she desired fame and a good write to the spot.

Pozlaceny licked her lips before picking up her bag of materials, setting it to the floor next to her feet and patted the bench next to her, as if offering him a spot. "Well, then, don't be a stranger." She flashed yet another smile, as if trying to persuade her interest to him. "Give me any idea, I'll be fine with it," she stated as she picked up her pen and let it hover over her paper, more intrigued and excited than to actually think logically.

Zaco knew to smile back, the corners of his mouth turning up, when he was smiled at by the young human. He was glad the girl was accepting his help, now rather excited. He had only read books before, it was a great moment for him.

When she moved her things, he was quickly on his feet and took the offered seat. That was very friendly of her he felt and thought himself lucky to be in the presence of such a pleasant human. Zaco nodded and took a moment to think of a quick response for an initial idea. "... In life, our nature decrees many of our actions, our ways, and sometimes even our path in the world. There is a lot we cannot change..." The man-god had a short rant of worldly observations before getting to the real point. "You could write about the biggest anomaly in nature - People - and the struggles of the natural world and all the beasts, and spirits, that dwell with in against these two-legged oddities." He advised. There was no doubt that the way he seemed to view humans was quite unique, at least for another supposed human.

"For inspiration, you need only to take a short trip to the world - but not the human world. Just step into the untamed woods for a day and you'll see magic happen."
Zaco told her happily and smiled wildly. Even in his many adventures, long trips through the continent through sky and land, there was nothing more pure and brilliant than nature itself. Humanity was a curious oddity for sure, sometimes interesting to observe, but they quickly became predictable. Nature had a way of surprising one, always.

[ A pleasant and friendly human...Pfft...Such a large misconception Zaco has on Pozlaceny. ]

Pozlaceny tapped her lips with the tip of her pen, listening very intently until she bent over, her dark hair covering her face as she scribbed several things down, on a fresh sheet of paper, very, very quickly so as to keep up with Zaco's very paced speech. It was a list, phrases and vocabulary words. Arrows pointed this way and that, the pen scratching against the pencil until the man seemed to stopped speaking. Pozlaceny paused and lifted her head, looking at him not with such an excited look, no, but something of curiousity. She leaned back, her pen hovering over the paper, mid-sentence. "You sound like my mother," she murmured. It wasn't a sad tone nor a very suprised one, no, but Pozlaceny was surely taken a little back. Her mother was a historian, one who often told Pozlaceny often of the wonders of the natural world, legends, and the such of the woods. Her mother was very keen on being very close to the ground. And here this man came, speaking once again of the way of nature. It reminded her a lot of her mother and Pozlaceny leaned back against the bench, no longer writing but letting her pen lay against her paper as she watched the man.

Alas, Pozlaceny found words to speak. "You..." Her dark eyes lingered on him before darting away, to her feet. "Are you a scholar? I mean, the way you speak and the way you regard yourself and the world, well, it's very...elevated." She looked at him squarely. "It's kinda freakish," she murmured, her eyes a little wide. She waited for a moment for him to reply before reclining, and shook her head. She gave a small laugh before brushing back her hair. "I'm sorry. I tend to open myself up and talk to strangers too easily. I'm Cam. You?"
Pozlaceny crossed her legs. Rarely did she give her real name out. Most people couldn't even pronounce it and most people knew her by Cam. It was her pen name as well amd Pozlaceny was quite fond of it. Her gaze situated back at her paper, at all the ideas that roamed through the page and gave a reaffirming nod. "Ah, and thank you. This was, well, very inspiring. I'm not a very woodsy person and I probably won't last a day in the forest but I'll take your word for it."

((Quite bad, the one nice person she apparently knows isn't human xD Testament to how bad they are, lol.. Such a shame.))

Zaco's bright eyes concentrated on the page as she put down thoughts, and he felt ... nice. There must have been some worth to his comments if the girl valued them enough to take them down. Perhaps he held written word in a little too high esteem though. The human looked quite interested when she lifted her head and Zaco gave her a warm smile. What rather took him by surprise then, was her comment. The god lifted a hand to his lips and let out a snicker. 'Mother?' He did not meant to offend her in any way, and her reason for thinking that was probably quite easily understood, but it came as a rather random surprise to be told that. Not that he was good at measuring human appearances, but he did not think he looked feminine. On the flip side, he hoped that meant she trusted him.

Zaco stayed seated, quite still, with his posture fixed and back straight. He observed the human with a calm gaze, thinking himself now quite lucky to have gotten so close to one of her species. The peacefulness of the moment was very enjoyable. Zaco's ears twitched when she began to speak, taking in her gentle sweet voice, and he shrugged his shoulders. "In a way. I do like to travel, to think, to see and understand." He commented softly. The god had to break into a little laughter when she spoke more, now saying he was a little freakish. He could not take it as an insult, she seemed to have a lighthearted side and was quite open to express her opinion. She surely did not seem to mean anything precisely bad by it.

Zaco moved his hand from his lips, offering to shake hands with the human. This was a gesture he had learned, one of the few he understood. Just a greeting. "I'm Zaco. Hello Cam." He replied calmly, a smile still painted on his lips. "I like your honesty and openness, it's refreshing." It really was. As far as his name went, there was no way he expected a human tongue to pronounce his. Not that any really had tried, but even the Gods most likely preferred the shortened version. The name she gave was simple, easy, as well.

Her comments about nature were not too surprising, humans probably viewed the unknown wilderness that way always. But, he wanted to prove her otherwise... "Few people seem to like to wander to the wild, but there's really nothing to fear. If you have the free time, I would like to take the chance to show you there's little to worry about the forest. I also just happen to know a place where the loveliest of wild berries are grown." Zaco told her and lifted his hands to his robe to lightly adjust it. The gentle breeze was tugging at its openings and corners, keen on cooling his warm skin. "You should take your notes, a small trip might inspire you further." For the God, it was quite evident if there was one type of person he wanted to save, it was someone smart and capable of writing, but also well mannered and kind. All those things he could class this person as, and all others he could hold to that standard.

(Well, Ayla is openly a women with two large swords on her back. She gives the impression of challenging more then Jin by openly presenting her weapons. The added touch that their large, also draws more attention. Chi, being a female with a sword herself, would want to challenge her. Thus, reason to do a duel.)

Chi was upset. It was painfully obvious she was upset, and the villagers moved aside for her as she almost stomped. The nerve...THE NERVE! Having a man stay, the selfish brat. Whatever. If they see him, I'm not going to deal with the rumors. She thought to herself, grumbling. She seemed to be looking for someone and held her sword across her shoulder. Earlier, she saw a women with two swords. It was another stranger, but it seemed she was to be a fighter. Instantly, she desired a duel and went to her home to retrieve her sword. However, upon facing Chou with him, she wasn't just in the mood to duel...but to fight. And to fight, she would get. "Hey! Chi, calm down a moment....what happened?" One of her friends asked, now stopping her. "Oh! Something happened! What happened, hm?" She replied rather loudly and sarcastically. Thus, forming the commotion as the two started to argue. They started to yell, and Chi pulled out her sword out of anger. The crowd gasping, and some backing off. "It's her..." Chi whispered to herself, her eyes catching glimpse of the woman before. "Look....later, alright?" She attempted to apologize to her friend but wasn't very good at apologizing in the first place. She gave a slight wave as she walked straight to the woman. She blocked off the woman's path, to ensure he attention.

"Two swords, two hands...but it's the holder of the blades that counts. Up for a duel?" She says, pointing her sword towards her with a slight smirk.

(At least you don't have my window Cream, mine for some reason attracts cats to slam themselves upon it. All the time, you would hear the WHACK and go outside to see a cat just like sitting there. Makes no sense, but they do it. All the time xD Just BAM, and there goes a cat. One time, I actually saw it and was like 'Dude, cat, are you okay?!' And it hissed at me, glared, then ran off)

"A...duel?" Ayala asked almost hesitantly. She hadn't heard a challenge like that since she was human. "I prefer to use my blades only for defense, but since you have your own blade aimed at me, it appears I have no choice. Clear a space!" The commanding tone in her voice impelled the crowd to do as she said. Once a large enough space had been cleared that no one would be caught in the duel, Ayala drew her double ivory blades with a swish of ivory against rawhide.

(Well, they are clean. But I'm not sure they love me xD I always thought it was just they were in heat trying to get to my cat Segal. She is beautiful after all lol)

Chi gave a chuckle,"If your blades rust from avoiding battle, this one should be quick." She mocked, as she watched the crowd move. She then saw her true blades, surprised they weren't rusted and their material made the blades glisten. "Perhaps, this will be good duel after all...you go first, stranger, as you are the guest of my village." She said in awe and respect, then readied for her attack.

"My blades do not rust, for they are not metal." Ayala closed her eyes for a moment, then she lunged forward, one sword held straight out behind her and her forward arm bent at the elbow so the edge of the sword was toward her opponent rather than the tip.

Pozlaceny could only offer a rather nervous laugh. She shook her head and looked away, brushing her hair out of her eyes. "Ah, well," she replied, only a little flustered. She didn't take to comments all to well since, well, she rarely recieved them. She cleared her throat and appeared to be calm. "I'm going to be frank with you, Zaco. I'm fairly kind of scared to go in those woods. I'm not at all outdoorsy." She proceeded in shaking her head and looking at her papers. She picked up her pen and held it, letting it pause over the paper as she seemed to think far within herself. She barely knew this man, who was sitting next to her and showing her a kindness no one had these days. It was only natural that she'd be hesitant and distrustful.

Then again, if this man could produce such eloquency in his words and allow her to produce such ideas-- Pozlaceny stared at the sentences on the paper in her lap-- than who was Pozlaceny to deny this man to spurn more ideas onto her. She bit her lip and looked at him with a doubtful look. "But, I guess...If there really is something I can write about to use for my novel..." She stood then, lookin down at him to try and see if he really was truthful and trustworthy. "And if you try anything, I'll dig out your eyes," she murmured. "Ah, sorry. Safety measures," she added and picked up her bag, stuffing the papers and pen into it.

Zaco was a little disappointed to hear her insist on her inexperience out in the wild, thinking that might be a decline to his offer. It was understandable that the humans were unused to the forests now, yet such a shame. Their species as a whole tore and cut their way out of nature by consuming it's resources without a thought for returning anything. Some of them would be right to fear coming to the forest, several of the Gods would make short work of any misfortune wanderer. But, who would raise their claw, their hoof or even bare their fangs against a companion of the Hawk? He was not exactly prideful, but he would not take mistreatment by others very well. Zaco was just slightly lost in his own thoughts as well, looking into nothingness as he did so.

Her soft voice lifted him from his thoughts and - Hope! - she reluctantly seemed to agree. Zaco's eyes, innocent and bright, gazed up at Cam. He smiled at her weakly when she threatened him but nodded. "If I do act inappropriate, then feel free. I really rather not live as that type of person." He admitted confidently. Not that the hawk was at all attracted to the idea of human relations to begin with. As himself he already was a very solitary creature, besides for his ventures for further knowledge. He had yet to have any interest in investigating human procreation whatsoever.

Zaco stood up when she went for her things, and he stretched his arms up at the sky. Such a nice day. He would bear being a human for a little while more. The rest of the day he could spend in the clouds afterward. "Try not to worry, animals can sense fear. It's best to be confident and respectful of nature. Besides, I'll be there for you at every step." Zaco tried to reassure her, as he turned to the female with a gentle smile on his lips.

The road out of town lead through the whole place, as the gate was on the other end, but the forests started quite nearby. They would not take long getting to where they would want to go. A small nature walk, a few berries here and there, fruit if it was available, perhaps he could ask one of the animals to show themselves for her. Even if it was one human at a time... he could probably bring them back to nature's embrace. It was a nice idea.
