"Please bring my daughter back safe" The king said before sitting back down on his throne

"I'ma go with that guy." Jareth was already leaps and abound beyond K-Rock on this investigation game. The only thing K-Rock investigated was how many punches it took to reduce a particular object to powder. That might become useful, and when the time came their skills could be combined. Till then, all thinkeratin' could be handled by Jareth.  

[Epic Muffin Cannon]

The explorer tailed along behind Jareth, her revolver locked and loaded. She'd been standing silently while the rest of the group did their talking.

Jareth bowed to the king as he was ready to leave. "It shall be so, your majesty." He didn't care for nobility much, be he could at least pretend he did. He began pondering what could have happened to the prioncess so close to a guarded gate. Especially since the princess was always well guarded. Say what one would, the king was protective of her, from what he understood.

He tried to recall if there was any kind of cave or something near that gate. He never recalled seeing anything like that when he made his runs to sell his art in various cities. He then recalled that he had sent Shiva to get him some more Bronze ingots from the merchant quarter. He wondered if she had gotten that taken care if.

"Well, lets get this going." he said, with a slightly disinterested tone. he may care, but one couldn't tell by hearing him talk. that was just his way of talking though.

Brighid simply nodded and let Jereth take the lead. Heading toward the East Wing and watching to get a feel for both the general atmosphere and level of security, to get a better estimate of what sort of effort it would have taken for the Princess to go missing in the first place.

As you walk twords the east wing you notice that at each intersection of hallways there is at least one guard in gray full plate wielding a shield and some kind of one handed weapon ready to pounce if anyone made a wrong move. As you get to the barracks the amount of guards increased, inside of the barracks were rows of bunk beds each rather nice. with a chest in front of them to hold the personal items of the guards who slept there.

"Who are you" A large man with a helmet on asked the person at the front of the party "Why are you here"

Though not addressed, K-Rock shoulders his way forward. He responds in his thickly-accented Common "Is'sup, basher. We's a-look'n for Princess, you seen her?"

Brighid opens her mouth to say something- then just facepalms instead. After a moment she lets out a sigh, "We're the people the King sent for to help find the Princess, we were hoping to speak to whichever guards saw her last."  

[Arc Vembris]

K-Rock looks indignant, "a's what I said!"

"That would be Rorak and Isa they are at the gate were she disappeared" The warrior said before giving them directions.

Jareth listened intently as the guardsman gave them directions to the guard post near the gate in question. Looks like they could do booth a scene investigation and interrogation at the same time. worked for him. "Sounds like we're going to the gate then." he said. He thought it was mildly amusing to see Brighid face-palm to K-Rock's mannerisms like she did.

K-Rock selects Jareth and Brighid as a group and chooses to join

At the gate the two guards are standing on opposite sides of the gate. One male and the other female each with a depressed look on their face.
