3066. What do you think of the out-dated chinese custom of foot-binding (tieing a baby girl's toes under her foot, even if you have to break the bone, making her walk with her toes under her foot(or hobble) because chinease men like small fett)?
I think it's a stupid fashion statement. I can't believe they actually do that. In fact, there's a lot of old beauty customs in various cultures that I can't believe they would ever think of doing it... and yet they did.

3067. What do you think of plastic surgery?
I can understand it for certain circumstances, like major injuries to the face. But getting plastic surgery for not reason other than changing an already beautiful face is dimwitted in my opinion.

3068. Is there a difference between foot binding and plastic surgery? What?

Are there any similarities between foot-binding and plastic surgery? What?

Difference - the binding only applied to the foot, where as plastic surgery can be anywhere on the body. Similarities - changing the natural look of a person in a painful manner.

3069. Would you be likely to continue reading a book that began: 'It was a bright, defrosted, p***y-willow day at the onset of Spring, and the newlyweds were driving cross-country in a large roast turkey.'?
Such a strange book... probably not.

3070. If I don't quit smoking then I will sing a song.

If I sing a song then I either play an instrument or run a mile.

I do not play an instrument or run a mile.

Therefore I quit smoking.

Is this a valid argument?

Maybe... I don't know.

3071. What came first, the acorn or the tree?
Tree.

3072. What is surrealism?

If you were putting together a surrealist work of art, what would you do?

Meh... I don't know how to describe it, and I don't know.

3073. What did you do on Halloween?
Went to my school's Halloween dance the day or so before the actual holiday, and then went to a friend's party the day of. Dressed up as both versions of Olivia Dunham from Fringe.

3074. Some bees have made a comfortable nest for the winter inside your air conditionar. How would you remove the air conditioner from the window?
I don't own an air conditioner, so this does not apply to me, lol.

3075. Why is quiet contemplation important?
*shrugs*

I actually made that meal Benedict Cumberbeatch is making for my parents awhile back for breakfast. It's called Parsi (or Parsee) Eggs. It's really good.

3076. Do you spend lots of time in quiet contemplation? How about any time?

If not, what distracts you?

Maybe?

3077. What is the lowest you have ever felt?
Hmm... sort of personal.

3078. Who has changed your life dramatically for the better?
Everyone in their own little way.

3079. Is all you christmas shopping done?
Christmas is a long ways off, mate. It's currently summertime.

3080. Who is the greatest writer you can think of and why?
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - the best detective fiction writer ever. And does a great autobiography too. biggrin And of course I have to say J.K. Rowling - who managed to incorporate so many wonderful things together in one fantastic series.

3081. Are people either good or evil?
There is no pure either or. Everyone has a variation blending of the two sides.

3082. Can people be BOTH good an evil?
See above.

3083. Is there good in a rapist or a murderer?

Is there evil in Mother Theresa?

Rapist - no. Murderer - if they were killing a bad guy, maybe.

No.

3084. You are in a classroom setting. A teacher has asked for a surrealist project. One person comes in with cards. Each card has a picture. Some of the pictures are a breast, a p***s, a urinal, open heart surgery, a woman sucking on a vaccum tube, etc. On the back of each picture is a phrase like '******** you and all of your lesbian fish eating friends' or 'people who speak in metaphors oughtta shampoo my crotch'. The artist asks each person to take a random card, go around the room and at their turn hold up the card with the picture side out and read the phrase on the back.

Would you do it?

How would you feel about it?

What do you think the artist's intent is?

First off, any one who knows the school system knows that no student would be allowed to bring such pictures to class, let alone have such bad language. Some teachers would automatically give the student an F or an Incomplete, until they produce a project that satisfies the rules of the school and the assignment.

No, I would not. The images and phrases would be very offensive, and many people do not approve of such language. Intent? - I have no idea.

3085. Are you satisfied?
Satisfied about what?

3086 is MIA...

Must have fallen into The Crack...

3087. How fast do you drive?
The speed limit.

3088. What do you want that you don't need?
I can't think of anything.

3089. What do you have that you wish you didn't?
Hmm... again, I can't think of anything. I'm happy with everything I have.

3090. What does it mean when someone suggests that you don't own your possessions, they own you?
*shrugs* I guess that we try to shape our public images based on what items we own... rather than being true to ourselves. I'm not really sure.

3091. Where do you get motivation?
Everywhere.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 05, 2011 5:25 pm
3092. Did you ever wanna get with one of your teachers?

Did you ever actually get with one?

No - to both.

3093. Have you ever had this happen, where one day you completely believe one thing and the next day you don't believe it anymore?

If yes, do you lie about your change of beliefs in order to appear consistant?

Hmm... I don't think I've had any instant belief changes from one day to the next. I may have had a chance of beliefs over time, over a course of several days or weeks - but never such an instant change.

3094. Do you hide things about yourself from others?

If so why?

Is it because you are afriad they will be scared?

Or because YOU are scarred?

Yes, sometimes I do. I suppose its because I feel that its not something that's worth sharing with others, or is something that only a select, special few are allowed to know about. Probably also afraid of how they would react to such news, how they would judge me and how it would affect my relationship with them.

3095. Do you recognize that some part of you is evil or do you feel like you are all good?
90% Good 10% Bad

3096. If everyone were flying flags and putting up yellow ribbons in honor of the people who died in a war and someone put up black bows and ribbons all over the top of therir house what would you think?

Would you want them to take it down?

Why?

I would be intrigued by their uniqueness of choice in bows and ribbons. Personally I wouldn't have a problem with them having them up. *shrugs* Maybe because I would interrupt them as representing the mourning of those lost... where as flags and yellow ribbons are more of a representation of supporting our country and our troops.

3097. Is a foot massage meaningless or does it have implications?
Depends on who is giving the foot massage and the occasion for it.

3098. Are you sick of technology yet?
Nope.

3099. After tattoos and piercings, I believe the next big thing will be implants (horns, metal plates, etc) and after that will come genetic alteration (wings, purple skin, etc).

Would you have any of this done to you?

Would you let your kids have it done?

What do you think the next big thing in body modification would be?

No, I would not enter into any of those body stylist changes. No.

Better medical technology of changing people's sex. *shrugs*

3100. What's the most insulting thing you could come up with to say to someone?
I'm not someone who insults others.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 05, 2011 5:34 pm
3101. Would it bother you if your priest, rabbii or other religious leader (teacher if you are not religious) started wearing a plain black mask all the time?
If yes, why?

I would be confused on why they would be wearing a black mask.

3102. Where do you look for the answers?
Depends on the questions.

3103. If you are driving and someone honks at you does it ruin your whole day?
No.

3104. If you are driving and you get angry at another driver do you yell at them through their and your closed window? open the window and yell at them? throw things at them? stop the car and start a fight with them? do something else?
I never get angry at other drivers. I just get irritated at the dimwitted-ness of other drivers. Road rage won't solve any problems.

3105. I'm in the right lane on the parkway. There is an exit only lane on my right. A car pulls out from behind the pack into the exit only lane. When that car gets to the exit he is right in front of me only one lane to the right of me. Instead of exiting the parkway he tries to creep back in in front of me. I get pissed and honk the horn. He (I keep saying he but I couldn't tell) throws up his hands as he slides in front of me. I think this is funny and toot again. He throws up his hands again. I do this about three more times and each time I toot he throws his hands in the air. Then my exit clomes up and I have to get off. From the time he got in front of me until I got off the parkway we drove approx. 20 feet. What you think about this situation?
I don't think you should've gotten angry at the driver. Maybe he thought his own exit was coming up, but it was the wrong one. Or maybe he didn't realize it was the "Exit Only" lane until he saw a sign saying so. Not to mention, it's very rude of you to keep honking at him.

3106. Do you live in reality or in your 'own little world'? Which one is better?
Both.

3107. Who's your favorite soprano?
I don't have a favorite.

3108. Why is there porn geared towards straight men, gay men, lesbians but none really geared towards straight woman?
I don't know. Maybe because it's hard to find a general image of a guy that most straight women like?

3109. Is there more to being human than chemicals and impulses? If yes, what?
Sure. The biggest mystery of all.

3110. What if all the boys in jail could get out now together?
Huh?
PostPosted: Tue Jul 05, 2011 5:37 pm
3111. If your shoes could talk what would they say?
I have no idea...

3112. How many windows are in your house?
14.

3113. Did you walk around your house and count them all? If not what did you do?
No. I just mentally visualized the house, going from room to room counting the windows as I went.

3114. Do you think people store memories as pictures or words?
Depends on the person and what parts they remember.

3115. If you got sent to jail who would your one phone call be to?
My parents.

3116. Pick a movie you have seen. Give a 2 sentence review about it using the word 'go'.
The Holiday (2006)

A superb romantic comedy where audiences go on a visual and emotional vacation along with the two characters, Iris and Amanda. Although it follows the traditional finding-love-in-unexpected-places trend of the romantic comedy genre, this film adds its own twist making it perhaps one of the best modern romantic comedies to date.

3117. Pick a song you like. Give a 2 sentence review of it using the word 'come'.
"To Love You More" - Celine Dion

Come experience the heartbreaking tale of unrequited love through Celine Dion's 1995 single. From the deep lyrics to the moving instruments, "To Love You More" is another superb addition to the collection of love songs by this French-Canadian artist.

3118. Pick a person you like. Give a two sentence description of them using the word 'lunchbox'.
Matt Smith

The newest - and youngest - actor to the play the Doctor in the beloved Doctor Who series is like a lunchbox. You can always expect to have a fun day, while never knowing what surprises lie behind those enchanting eyes.

3119. What do these 3 words have in common: hippo, camp, us?
I have no idea.

3120. If you could save time in a bottle, the first thing that you'd like to do is..
Not sure.
