Raising his focus again, Zak absently tossed the soccer ball and started dribbling and bouncing it, his gaze searching for an egg. Before it found... the gym. Right. He had been planning ot take that on while he was here. He checked his watch, then looked over at his pokemon. Honestly, probably not a bad idea. Nevertheless, Zak headed for the gym after doing a quick shopping trip (just in case), frowning as he tried to make his way through a few rocks to get to the platform. "I apologize," he started, projecting his voice as the gym leader stepped curiously out to meet his challenge, "But I'm in a bit of a rush. So I may have to make zis fast." It became abruptly aware to him, when he was talking, that he was speaking with his accent. Something he was very explicitly not to do when interacting with others. It was a noticeable feature, after all. One slip up.... He'd fix it for the rest of the battle, and quickly shutting his mouth, he sent Mudkip forward.

Zak took his winnings and put them away, his mouth pretty much firmly shut. He couldn’t… believe he’d slipped up like that. And Imperium would know, too, thanks to that Xatu out there. ********. The serious downfall to working for an organization that pretty much lived inside your mind. Not to mention, Ten had fainted… He’d cursed when that happened. He picked her up himself, all sixty pounds of her, and strode out once he had his winnings. He needed to get her healed, get the egg that Stranny seemed to have found, and move on.

Waiting for his pokemon to get healed, Zak rested his hands on the counter. Cerulean was next, but he didn’t think he was going to bother with the gym that time. He was overpowered, and he could always come back to use it for training later. Not to mention, with Deys out, he could practice some of his combat skills, try and brush up before she showed up to examine him. If she did before he finished this egg hunt, he hoped she knew that she’d be traveling. But given how Imperium worked, she likely would. This was almost his last day, too… He didn’t ahve a lot of time left. He needed to get Kanto done soon. And with his pokemon healed, he immediately headed out to get started on that ASAP.

After they passed the small building leading out of the forest, the two girls finally arrived in Pewter City. Luca's gaze shot this way and that as they followed the streets, looking to see everything that they had. Beyond the houses, there seemed to be a large museum in the back, and not too far from that was the Pewter City Gym. As much as she wanted to go check out both right away, she knew they needed to go to the Pokemon Center first, moving a little faster to take the lead between them at that point.
Clear, azure doors parted as they approached, sending a rush of pleasantly cool air over them. The temperature difference almost made Luca melt, but she did her best to compose herself and keep going. "One room with two beds, please," She asked, the nurse behind the counter quickly finding a key for them. "Thanks." Turning right around, she gave Sylva a small pat on the back, moving the two right along towards their new room.
Once inside, Luca couldn't help but stretch her body as if she'd just woken up. Rising up onto her toes, she grew a handful of inches taller, while her arms shot above her, her limbs loosening up after a second or so. She tried to keep walking like that, though it was clear from her lack of balance she wasn't the type to walk on her toes. She let out a nice, content sigh once her limbs fell back into place, and set her bag down on the bed she'd seemed to claim for herself. "Alright," she began, starting to remove the heavy coat she wore. "Go ahead and get changed, and let's talk about what happened... The clothes in your bag didn't get soaked too, did they?"

Sylva followed as close as she could, keeping Luca as some sort of meat-shield. Any sign of Leirsa coming after her and she'd shove the slightly taller woman at the lizard and make a run for it. She still wasn't to sure what was going on in the head of that lizard. She looked innocent enough, if it wasn't for her black eyes it would be a very convincing look. Sylva, however, was well aware what she'd witnessed in those woods hadn't just been an act or an illusion. Just what happened to that happy-go-lucky little lizard was beyond Sylva's comprehension.
With Luca at her side for now, she was face. Though she couldn't risk ending up alone with Liersa any longer. The red-head reluctantly joined Luca in the same room at the Pokemon Center, finding the air conditioning rather... unpleasant, being completely soaked from the rain. She could feel herself getting sick as they made their way to their room. The red-head halted in place for a moment, trying to figure a way of going about things, but she heard Luca ask a question... and she felt... there was no hiding it anymore. "Actually... about that... " The red-head lifted up a hand to rub the back of her head. "I... sort of left home super quick, and... forgot to pack an extra pair of clothes... or pajamas for that matter." She chuckled. Looking down at herself, she gave a heavy sigh. "Looks like I'll just have to wait for these to get washed and dried. I guess I could take a shower in the mean time. Or a bath. You know, don't want to catch a cold." As she said that ,a sneeze snuck up, and she rose a hand up to her nose just in time to cover it up. "L-lei... Why don't you stay here, okay? 'kay" The lizard seemed eager to join her, but Sylva eagerly pushed forward, escaping through the room door with Leirsa still inside. Luca held her gaze on the redhead, watching her wordlessly for hints of what might've happened, or at least how to approach the subject. She didn't have a small grin or a senseless expression, trying to treat it as seriously as possible. She said nothing at first to her explanation on the lack of clothes, before letting out a quiet sigh and resting her eyes. "Alright, I guess that'll work. They might be a little big, but you can wear some of my stuff until your clothes have had a chance to dry. After that downpour, they'll probably soaked until morning." The woman ran a hand through her hair, holding back her bangs as she struggled to find the right words. She wasn't used to being slow and serious.
The taller woman turned to her belongings as Sylva slipped into the bathroom, digging through for something that would be easy for her companion to sleep in. Now that she looked at it, she realized she hadn't packed a whole lot of spare clothes to travel in either--A couple shirts, a spare jacket, and an extra pair of pants. Seems she was pretty excited to leave herself... Chuckling a bit, she just grabbed her pajamas, and moved to enter the bathroom herself. There was a small lip in the room that separated the section with a sink and counter from the toilet and shower, blocking view of the latter from anyone just coming through the door. "I'll set these on the counter here," she announced, the door shutting behind her before the Charmelon could get inside. "Take as long as you need, but try not to use up all the hot water, otherwise I might have to come join you." Luca snickered audibly, joking in an attempt to at least somewhat lighten the mood.
When she exited the bathroom, Priscilla stood beside the door, quietly waiting for the trainer to leave before locking it behind a simple, psychic barrier. While she was still nervous about Leirsa, she was really only doing it to stop her trainer from making good on her "joke," and making sure Sylva had the privacy she needed.

She didn't want to deal with the rest of the scrubs here and she didn't really feel like returning her pokemon at the moment, so they'd just have to deal. She was here for one thing, and one thing only. "Yo." Azalea came to a stop, her hands in her pockets and her red gaze set on Brock, regarding him coldly. "I'm here for a battle. You gonna accept or what?" She was tempted to nudge him with her foot, but she already had his attention so it didn't really seem necessary.

Brock waited around for a moment, curious to see what she'd do next, but eventually he headed back to have his pokemon healed up.

Quickly sliding into the bathroom, she kept no time between getting herself undressed and out of her soaking wet clothes and into a nice warm shower. Pulling open the doorway to the shower, she reached a hand in to test the waters, turning back when she heard the door open. Frozen in place, she felt a wave of relief waft over her... it was only Luca. "T-thanks..." She replied back. "Oh yea? I'll be sure to leave just enough for a fiver" The red-head added, then with a gruff 'laugh' she slipped into the shower.
The feeling of touching her own body... was sickening. Looking at it was even worse. You could play her ribs like a Xylophone... Though with this free pokemon center food, she could end up gaining some weight in due time. She didn't appear completely anorexic however. Sure her ribs and her hip bones were easily noted, her body frame was naturally slender. It still didn't help that it was a harsh reminder of her past with every pass of the soap over her body. She made quick work of cleaning herself up, and after a short fifteen or so minutes she was out of the shower and wrapping herself in a towel.
Stepping in front of a large mirror set over some sinks, the red-head looked over herself closely. A few nicks and a slight bump on her forehead were noted. Her bangs easily hid the bump, but the nicks in her skin weren't so easily hidden. The freckles dotting her cheeks and nose made some of them vanish though. Her face was slender, but not notably... skrawny, like her body. Her nose was slightly red, and a bit stuffy, likely the starting of a cold... she'd need some tea with honey or something soon, before a full on sickness crept in. For now, she got dressed in Luca's clothes, picking her own up in a rough bundle... they were pretty beat up too, hopefully she wouldn't need anything new.. she couldn't afford new clothes. Pushing the door open, she felt a slight resistance, but ignored it once she emerged to see the whole gang still there. Leirsa seemingly 'napping' on the bed. "Showers open." Sylva announced.
Dropping her clothes in a heap by the door, she turned to Luca with a smile. "We can wash them while we sleep." As if she was getting any of that. Not with a potentially homicidal lizard on her bed.
