It was about fifteen minutes in (Ashley was slacking a bit and he knew as much) before an egg was finally located. Bastien once again huffed in annoyance at his failure to locate the scavenger item before his trainer, something the man noticed. He did question if the Braxien would pick up on his earlier implications about thinking before acting or, much as Lizzie had mentioned, if he’d have to tell the creature plainly what he expected of him. Which was a shame; he tended to expect his pokemon to learn on their own or not at all. There were exceptions to that rule (Theodor, being one) but even then, the Jolteon knew what was intended of him and preformed accordingly. If Bastien couldn’t figure it out by now then well… that was going to be a problem. Tucking the egg away, Ashley simply tugged out the pager and called forth the rider pokemon once more. He would observe and think about it but for now well… he didn’t mind too much that he was the only one finding eggs.

Luckily, Saka didn't give him too much grief. He seemed distracted (and annoyed) with something else, and spent essentially the whole time on his phone. Adder just sort of stared warily at him, before sighing and rolling his eyes, and moving away. He released his pokemon, but hesitated a moment before sending them off. He still wanted to try and be productive, especially with Decidueye fully evolved now, but... he wasn't sure whether he wanted to try and balance everything again. Not to mention, now he would need to go into the pokecenter to do the actual exchange...

Well, whatever. He needed to get this done, and it was something to do while eggs were being hunted for by his other pokemon. He sighed and headed for the pokecenter. He figured he might as well get the Caterpie. He could train it some, as well as Chikorita, depending on how strong the pokemon were here. He released Decidueye as he entered the center, but left Arrow and the two starters outside to start looking for eggs. It was kind of weird to put one of the first pokemon he'd gotten away, potentially for forever, but... it was necessary.

Want to do some battling?" he offered, frowning a bit as he approached. He was, for some reason, worried that the pokemon would decline. Of course, he didn't. Charmander seemed eager to come along, and Adder warily informed her that she could continue looking for eggs while they trained. He couldn't balance that many pokemon, and... he still needed the eggs, after all. He'd train her later.

Aqua wasn't going anywhere near Destello, but she wasn't freaking out either. That was as good a reaction as any until she trusted him. Their food was delivered and the group ate quietly. A few people looked at him strangely, but he shrugged it off. So, he liked salad. Why was that so surprising? Did you look like the kind of guy that didn't take care of himself? As they ate, Pooka wandered off a bit as Alejandro watched her. The pup came back a minute or so later with an egg for him and he smiled."Way to go, Pooka.""Ruff~!"Putting the egg with the others, Alejandro finished his salad and lemonade. Pewter City; It'd been quite some time since she'd last visited this place. Of course 1 or 2o years couldn't change it's appearance. Nestled in a valley, surrounded by tall mountain walls, it was a protective place to rest. It also housed the first gym, rather, the weakest gym, of the Kanto Region. The egg hunt it seemed was taking place in a small patch of grassland that rested at the southern corner of Pewter. Following after Tay, the red-head found a spot by the fence that surrounded the grass patch, while Tay ventured inside to look for an egg of her own. Doing the math right, this would make it their 45th egg, meaning only 5 left to ago. If they could get those last 5 eggs soon, she'd be fine. The sooner the better after all. Then again, she did plan on stopping in Saffron to challenge Sabrina. Nepherit was doing well with her battles, so the red-head decided on her being on the team without a doubt. Ookoth was staying on her main team, just in case.... leaving the third slot open. Isisra could do well, but perhaps there was someone else on her team who could use the boost in training?

Tay found ground-types fascinating, apparently. Avikna saw no appeal to them. she'd always favored Fire-types, ever since she was young. Now it seemed her love of Fire-types had shifted a slight degree to Dragons. Known as fire-breathers most of them, it made some sense. But also, what her grandfather told her.
