Good afternoon everyone.
So obviously I didn't post after I got back from school. That's because I started working on my first homework assignment for my class - an assignment I just finished moments ago.
I filled out the application for the position at Burgerville, so it's ready for me to drop off tomorrow after school. And I'm waiting to get a response from my request for an application for the Copy Writer position for my university's newspaper. Haven't done anything for the other jobs I have listed... didn't have time for that yet, heh. And there's some of the positions I'm sort of getting the uncertainty feeling about. *sighs*

Grades for Spring 2011 term are available now:
English Studies ~ A
20th/21st C. Lit. ~ A-
Suspense Thriller Film ~ A
17th/18th C. Lit. ~ A
I also made it onto the President's Honor Roll.
And I'm officially a Senior in college now.

*listens to the soundtrack for POTC: On Stranger Tides* Ooo... a little Spanish flair to the music. Nice. Though the little bit I'm hearing right now reminds me of Johnny Depp's role in "Chocolat". Not sure why, lol. I wonder if Depp did any guitar playing for this soundtrack like he did for the soundtrack of "Chocolat".

Neat to hear some ol' familiar tunes from the other POTC soundtracks reoccur on this soundtrack but with twists to them. Like there's a Spanish guitar-like version of "He's A Pirate" a.k.a. POTC theme.

There's a part of me that wishes that I didn't find some of those job openings, because I now feel obligated to apply for them... especially with how my Mom is lately about me getting a job. She'll keep checkin' every now and then to see what my process is with the job application process. Aaaaahhh!
I just want to have a job already! *sighs* Not only to earn money of my own and to gain work experience - but to get Mom off my back.

I've been avoiding a lot of the political discussions lately, especially the ones that have popped up surrounding Osama's death and Obama. Probably because I don't like the energy that's hovering around the discussions...

 It was funny watching Matt Smith ((click on image to see the video)) play this new Doctor Who game, especially his expressions when switching back and forth between the Doctor and Amy. *laughs* Wish I knew someone who had the game so I could try it out.
*cracks up laughing hearing the remix version of one of the songs from POTC soundtrack* Sounds like Doctor Who music for a moment there... POTC Doctor Who music! Perfect for my current mood right now. I'm obsessing with Doctor Who and getting excited about the new POTC film.

Oh my goodness! Someone in my state has a license plate saying "TARDIS" and the car is blue! I wonder where in WA this car is from. *laughs*
If I personally ever get a blue car in the future, I'm going to name it "TARDIS". :D

 The worst part about this anxious feeling I get every time the job discussion is brought up is that my brain keeps thinking about it and makes it hard for me to go to sleep at night. *sighs*
