Rose was still pondering over what her next course of action should be when she heard someone address her. She turned to look at the source of the voice, seeing the kid from Viridian city that had pushed past her and MD. Fynx gave an annoyed scowl, recalling the rude encounter. "Yes, I am! Are you headed towards Cerulean, too? If so, I'd love to have the company~" Rose smiled cheerfully at the boy, more than willing to forgive and forget the earlier encounter. Fynx crossed her arms over her chest, apparently not enjoying her trainer's friendly demeanor at the moment. However, the Delphox remained silent but gazed at the boy judgementally. Sparx, however, was more than happy to have another new person making friends with his trainer. "The more the merrier!" the alolan raichu chimed, sitting on his tail, hovering about a foot off the ground beside Rose. "My name is Rosette, but you can just call me Rose. Wait...it wasn't supposed to be this easy, was it? Ray almost felt like the girl was the one that asked to travel, not the other way around. Had he ever met someone this...enthusiastic? "Yeah, Cerulean." Ray realized why he thought the blue fox looked like an a*****e (aside from it being a fox) was because it was one of the slowpokes hogging the path back in Veridian. Well, this Rose girl was pretty friendly so he was willing to forgive them for it.
Ray was clearly startled when Sparx spoke up. He glanced from Rose to the raichu, struggling to take it in. For a pokemon to speak to him of its own volition, it was new. "Riight." Ray twitched his hand in a wave, not sure how to feel about the raichu. "My name's Ray," he said, choosing not to use his full name. He honestly wasn't sure why he didn't just go by Raniero. It was the proper name Alessandro had given him after all. "So are you going the gyms too?" he asked. The girl's pokemon looked a bit too evolved to be hanging out in a town like Pewter.

Misa immediately knew where she was. This was where her first Gym Badge was attained. It was a comforting memory and it was quite nice to visit this place again. So while she may have parted from the bird Pokemon Misa took a nice long look around the area. There was supposed to be an egg around these parts. It was strange though, the girl had a couple of questions especially for the bird Pokemon. How did it know where to take the girl? Did it lose its egg too? If she could only ask Squirtle but the blue Pokemon seemed to have been shocked by the change of events. ’Well, we did get here pretty fast. I imagine it might have shocked Squirtle a bit.’

So, she continued on with her search. The bird Pokemon left a small note for the girl before it left back into the sky. The note read that the eggs could be stored within her device. It seemed like all of this was rather well done for a bunch of Pokemon. Maybe there were other humans out there who were looking for the eggs too. Maybe...was Lapras in one this? How else could it have possible had a human device ready? Maybe there were Pokemon out there who were looking for humans to help. Though that didn’t mean that Lapras had its egg taken away. This would require more investigating on her part but for now she would focus on finding the egg that was tucked away in Pewter City.

The Jigglypuff rolled on the ground, it was visibly unconscious. This moment felt very bittersweet considering that she had been looking for a Jigglypuff for a long time while she had been in Pewter City. Who knew that they would actually meet in these circumstances. Thankfully, at least she could take out that frustration onto this pink Fairy-type. But she needed to calm down if she was going to keep moving on. ”Thank you Spearow, I know I caught you in….well...not the best of ways but I hope we can work well together in the future.” The Spearow didn’t say a word as it moved closer to the human as she took out a Potion bottle. The journey would be more difficult the farther along they went. Who knew if they would be battling Pokemon throughout the journey though.

Well, if Pokemon were going to be this weak then it would sit well with her. Yet, there was something very strange with these events. “Kaaaaw!” The bird from before made its grand appearance before the girl. It motioned for Misa to go on its back. The timing was too good to be a coincidence and she didn’t even call for the bird. ’What is going on here…’ Even so, the girl did climb onto the bird’s back to go off to her next destination.

Eventually, Zero was able to conclude his business in Pewter city before he dwelt on such things for too long. He found his second egg and set it in his bag with the first, before grabbing the brochure again to figure out where to go next. Pallet Town was up next, it seems, and with that in mind he released Ashen from his ball and told him where they'd be heading next. The trainer and his Gardevoir climbed onto his back, while Nevermoor latched onto the shadow cast over his belly, before the fire-type promptly took off, flying out towards their next destination.

Scarlett waited impatiently as Damien continued to move at his lazy pac, snuffing around here and there, though eventually he curled up and laid down, giving up. The fact that he had taken forever already already peeved Scarlett, but the fact that he decided to take a nap right now of all times really drew the line. She stormed over and grabbed the houndoom by the horns, hoisting him up to his feet. "No you don't ya lazy mutt." Scarlett growled. "If won't find eggs, then you're training for Fantina while someone else picks up your slack." The houndoom was surprisingly calm in spite of getting yanked around by the horns, much like a large dog doing nothing as children pulled it's tail and ears. He allowed Scarlett to drag him to the gym while she sent Dotty to scout out eggs in the area, hoping that a psychic type might be better specialized for this type of scouting mission.

Eventually she heaved the lazy houndoom in front of Brock and straightened, brushing some hair back out of her face. "Battle. Neu." Scarlett growled, glaring his way. She wasn't mad at him so much as annoyed at the situation, but that still meant she would be taking her frustrations out on Brock and his pokemon. "Well, if you insist." Brock said hesitantly.
