Comments: I’ve been doing such lazy drawings lately. Which… don’t get me wrong, I like how some of them have turned out. The simple is on purpose. But I don’t want to lose my other self so I forced myself to play when I colored instead of simple coloring.

Of my ideas, I couldn't get away from "bird with knife." It's hard to add more bells and whistles to a creature that needs to be small and stealthy. I've got a few ideas in mind for what the 1st and 2nd stages could be...

This is such a fun challenge. I'm excited for tomorrow. I can't wait to see the morphs of all the creatures passing thru a 3rd artist. O: And i'm excited to try blending. XD
For this, I was tempted to do one of those things where the 1st stage looks nothing at all like the 3rd stage since pokemon does that too often, buuuut I didn't. It would've made day 3 pretty spicy tho if someone ran with it. <;

Edit: I still need to take the time to just hook a mouse up to my ipad. I need to write it on a to-do list. Anyway, I posted all the image links from my ipad but I know it's futile to try to resize using tags since the quotation marks from the iOs keyboard are ignored if used in image tag coding on Gaia. I'm adding in that explanation just in case someone reads this and hasn't come across that info before
Anywho, I didn't want to copy paste a bunch. <.< >.> Not worth it when it's much faster from the laptop.. with a mouse. Less steps. Should I have brought the laptop with me so I could've posted from it earlier? Yes. <.<; Should I also just link the darn mouse? XD; Yes. But I never think of it until I go to post art > < and by then... like now.. it's not a good time to work on it

This was just one of those days where you can just feel that whatever you draw is not gonna go well. No good reason; just one of those days. It's a bummer that it coincided with the SC cuz I really love the idea of this SC. For how I felt, I think I pushed through it okay but I knew coloring would just frustrate me further. > <
I'll also hopefully reply to posts tomorrow. I've laughed so much (in a good way). This has been fun, but I really need to get to sleep

Comments: I got stuck on these prompts. I kept trying to draw a cat eating a large burger and it just.. wasn’t working out. Today, I decided I’d just draw whatever prompt or subject I wanted, opened my iPad and XD saw this guy. I’d forgotten that I pivoted to drawing Fear from Inside Out. I purposely kept this loose, but added all the shading today

Comments: Unhinged. Definitely an unhinged whale. Idk. This was me just keeping it simple. XD;
It took 9 mins cuz (you can’t tell by looking at this) I redrew the whale shape a few times. XDD And that mouth. This was.. worse. XD
Also, having a mouse definitely helps. I love being able to highlight text in one motion instead of moving little on screen cursors (on the iPad). It’s the little things that make a huge difference to me.
That said, I still miss my comforts of the “better Gaia” and “Gaia upgrade” browser extensions that I have on my laptop. Vanilla Gaia itself is annoying. XD; Oh well.

Comments: I saw "goose" and immediately wanted to add another goose to my drawing from the first week of the event. ... I realized that it was a duck (Victorian duck) when I grabbed the art file. XD But decided to still run with the idea.
I like it. I'd like to eventually fix the folds in the cape/bustle. I used a couple bustles as refs, but the refs were too grainy to see fold details. And I couldn't wrap my head around the folds today. I drew that just to get the art done.
On another note, I was surprised to see I spent about the same amount of time on the goose as I did on the duck. I spent extra time on the duck because I played around with colors. I figured this would go faster since the colors were already established. It should go faster since I only had to copy the duck. That's just it tho... I had to copy the duck. XD So i lost time just digging back in the layers so that I could retrace the same steps with the same colors and blend modes.
