Damage Dealt - 12 
There was no time to remain confused as the group wandered in search of their target, no time to wait. A puppy appearing and then, the attack. There was no time to assess the situation or take a breath. She has no personal hatred for the large wolves, but this one didn't look all too friendly. So, along with the others, she leaped into the fray with her jaws open wide. It was time for a fight!
She wasn't a fighter, truly, so it wouldn't really be a shock to most wolves as her teeth grazed along the giant brute, a snarl caught in her throat. She just hoped her anger would overwhelm any lack of skill and allow the rush of the fight to let her win. She wouldn't let this disgusting creature get away, not after what it had done to their pack member. These rogues helping them wouldn't understand that hate, she was sure. Maybe her distaste at herself for having been one of them at some point would fuel her next bite a little more.

 Just when she was worried that things were going to go downhill fast - from the mountain pass came a boon. If she knew the Wolfdog's name, she'd have howled it like a battle cry. The female came in hard and fast, and she caught the behemoth berserker with such force the impact could be heard.
Her fur stood on end as the strength and fearlessness of the female inspired a welling of courage in her. The hopelessness of the situation suddenly seemed to slip into the background and as she took in the scene before her, she saw the pieces fall into place.
The next hit came from the striped male who had earlier caught her eye - his attack was timed to follow into that of the female's and hit just at the right moment, the Berserker was losing space to move, he didn't have room to turn, or run, or evade!
More came forward, moving into the spaces that he could go - lunging, snapping, biting. Another female, a pale shadow moved in and jaws open, landed a hit on the enemy. Her heart swelled in pride - these wolves may not have been hers, but they had hunted together, and now, now they fought together.
"There's enough of us to surround him! North, South, East, West, he can't attack every direction at once! When he is forced to turn his back to attack, that will leave him vulnerable! If we work together we can prevent him from escaping again! We can do this! He may be fierce, but we are many, and we are here to stand for the blood of our Own that has been shed!"
Her voice rang out like a rallying cry and she dug her claws in, tail bristling, hackles raised, teeth bared, and she stood her ground - ready to attack.
"Form a circle to surround the 4 points!" She called out, as their numbers grew, and as he spun towards her to avoid another hit, she snarled, crouched, and lunged, teeth and claws bared, aiming for the face of the beast, satisfied when she felt the softness of flesh beneath her blow.

It seemed most wolves were starting on a rocky start except for Aldusa. She was glad a member of her own pack was doing well, and, while thankful for the two rogue wolves that seemed to be doing fine too, something in her boiled. This wasn't those strangers fight! She wanted this beast dead, there's no doubt there, but still it made her heart ache. This pack may be losing a member close and dear to so many hearts, and these.. OUTSIDERS might take the glory of defeating the one responsible when the son of the victim stood beside them! It was sickening. If one of these wolves gets the final kill, she wishes them luck fighting against her words. The rally cry from this she wolf made her sick to her stomach. How dare she direct them like a leader! She's nothing more than some random wolf who thought she had the right to assume they needed her help! With a new anger and hatred towards just the thought of these strange wolves defeating this beast, as though the pack were not strong enough itself, she leaped back into the fray. May she die on this battle field rather than allow a simple rogue take the packs rightful kill! How nice it would've looked had she completely ignored this strangers orders to attack the four points and gone for a large strike, but, alas, it seems luck was not on her side as she fumbled past the berserker, whirling around and angrily yipping. How dare her paws betray her so! |

Beowulf's ears flicked as the voice of another rang over the fighting. The snarls and snapping teeth, raising his head he glanced over towards the owner of the voice. A female it would seem and one who had a plan, though some didn't seem to like it... Not that many were voicing their opinions openly in the face of the fight. Still, he came around the Beserker as others make their lunges and attacks. Beowulf Leaped towards the back of the Beserker, trying to get up on its hind quarters, but...
Wouldn't you know it, a stray stone had rolled into his path. One that had been kicked up in all the movements and his claws tripped over it. Falling flat on his own belly, he could only imagine how humiliating it was, but he didn't care, he was sure to make worse scenes. Picking himself up, Beowulf shook off the dust to try again. |

Her last attack had landed damage and she had rolled to her feet and bounced back into her position - covering the puppy once more.
Her shaken confidence, self-doubt and her uncertainty had all but faded. This was battle - her body responded like it was familiar with the movements - lunge, roll, swipe, dodge, dart, bite. The muscle memory was almost subconscious as she leaped in again, and sank her teeth into thigh muscle, aiming to slow him further.
She could taste his blood in her mouth, and for the first time since waking - it did not bring to the surface fear, but strength. She was a fighter. She could feel it in her bones. There was no room for fear now.

Vivi attempted to lunge in and bite the large wolf, but even though she did bit him it seemed to do no good this creature was a beast and Vivi jumped back to give others a chance to strike. They would have to work together to take down this jerk. Clearly this was the invader who attacked their pack member. Vivi was angry that this bully thought he had the right to attack smaller creatures. It was hardly that they could be a challenge to them. So they attack them at all. She growled at him and prepared to attack again.
