Shenaiya's explanation on how she got her pokemon seemed a little confusing to Marx, not so much because of how she said it, but because it was an... odd way to get pokemon. Hopefully they weren't stolen or anything... But she seemed fairly okay about it, so there was no need to worry, probably! He brushed the concern off, letting his usual oblivious, blissful smile cross his face, blinking as he noticed a message from Zero. He looked it over, but paused on reply, glancing back as Rose jumped on his back to tease him about his blush. He recoiled slightly, embararssed, but as soon as he seemed to register what she was saying, he immediately seemed to snap out of it, grinning.
"Heh, good idea! I'd probably wear something under mine, too," he remarked, grinning a bit. He looked back over at Shenaiya as Rose slipped off his back, tilting his head with a smile as she thanked him, and shrugging. "Heh, no problem! Rose is right, though... Maybe I'll find something else to wear," he remarked, lacing his fingers together behind his head. Or maybe he wouldn't dress up at all, he'd have to wait and see.
He listened to the two girls, then glanced over as Flygon seemed to ask Chifaera about something, nudging at his wings and then lifting herself off the ground, probably asking if he could fly.

Chifaera looked to Flygon, then spread his feathery wings. With a few flaps, he lifted himself up off the ground, taking to the skies with the other dragon. He'd be flying high enough to avoid too much notice from others, keeping his legs tucked against his body and letting his wings and tail do all the work.

Cheria was asking if anyone else was there, since she apparently got there already,' he texted, then, remembering Alexandra, quickly sent a message to her. 'Hey! We're heading to this festival called 'Tanabata'. Plans changed and stuff! You should be able to get to it from a train, so we'll meet you there!' Hitting send, he really hoped he wasn't totally derailing her plans, or that she wasn't far from a station, and turned his attention to Rose, grinning a bit as she held onto his arm.

Zoey and Scy seemed all too unconcerned with their trainer's uneasy demeanor. They were familiar with Jay's dislike of cities. Quena shifted around in his pocket a bit, apparently picking up on it, but didn't seem at all concerned either; though it was more likely out of apathy than reassured dismissal. The streets seemed to go on forever, the noise of different attractions and locales richoceting around. The smells of the restaurants and food carts twisted and mixed, and on more than a few occasions Jacque rubbed his nose and scrunched up his face against the strong odors. The smell of perfumes and colognes of the business people stung his nose, and the butling crowds of people sent him shirking to the sides of the street. He honestly couldn't understand how someone could live here, let alone enjoy it...
