Vaporeon’s ear’s jolted to attention when asked to assist the human with its mission. It glanced around the area, looking at the oddly shaped houses, large trees, the people, the ground, and the river. Its nose went up into the air, smelling the scents the wind carried. It was a different approach than what Fearow or the bird Pokemon had ever done. Each had a bird’s eye view of the place while something as small as Vaporeon had to rely more on their sense of smell and hearing than their eyes.

Vaporeon dashed into the nearby river, immediately melting into the river. Not even its shadow could be seen as something bobbed up to the surface. That object was a Pokemon egg as it picked itself up out of the water and landed at Misa’s feet. She blinked a few times as Vaporeon’s figure began to appear from besides the egg. ”Thank you Vaporeon, you’ve done well.” The evolved Pokemon made a cute little noise as the egg was placed into the PC. Then Vaporeon was returned back into its ball. ”Off we go then,” she smiled towards the bird, taking her off into another location. [5/5=Laverre City Egg] {55/60=Max Potion}

Switching her search team up a bit was probably a good idea, given the surrounding area of this next spot. Laverre City itself was... breathtakingly beautiful, for those that were into that sort of thing. Even Ajicka took a moment to look around, but she didn't linger, or particularly appreciate the views. She took note of the gym, eying it, but turned to her pokemon, setting Mudkip down on the ground. She was going to let her join the search, b ut that meant taking someone else, out.

Actually, technically she didn't need to, but... Sableye had been out for a while. A long while. And she'd been slowing down since the desert. "Want a break, Sableye?" she offered. The ghost eyed her warily, but then shrugged. 'If you care to, dear, I don't mind,' she replied, but even even telepathically, she sounded a bit more warn down. Ajicka eyed her, before recalling her, and looking to the others. "Houndoom, do you mind showing Fall what we're doing, basically? I'm going to go look around the gym and town, and you guys can take the Nature Trail," she suggested.

The hell hound blinked and glanced at the mudkip, who was shuffling her feet and looking down at herself again, now recovered from the shock of shrinking to such a small size, but still growing accustomed to the differences. He looked back up to Ajicka and nodded, turning and, when he noticed Fall wasn't coming, giving her a gentle nudge with his muzzle. She looked up, then popped to her feet, waddling along with her. Eelektross looked at Ajicka, who met her gaze, and after a long moment, he turned to float along behind the other two. She really had a hard time reading him...

Sighing and shaking her head, Ajicka moved to begin exploring the city. Houndoom and the others, meanwhile, headed to look for the Nature Trail, though the hell hound was a bit put off once they'd found it. This... place was a swamp. Cautiously, he moved forward, with Fall bouncing ahead, more accustomed to her tiny legs now. She would have much rather been striding along, but she was light enough that she didn't sink, and even if she did... this was her natural habitat. Eelektross, on the other hand, looked at all the mud with less enthusiasm, and stayed reassuringly close to Houndoom as the dog tried to stick to more sturdy grounds.

Houndoom of course, didn't get very far at the slow, cautious pace he was moving. Fall was swimming in the mud, but popped up when the group heard someone approaching, and looked over to find their trainer quirking an eyebrow at them. ".... I'm guessing you guys didn't find an egg," she commented. She rolled her eyes at the stares, before holding hers up, "Luckily, I did. Come on, we can move on to the next location," she suggested, nodding her head, and turning to move back. She at least wanted to get them ouit of the mud before Deoxys moved them to the next location...

Laverre was.... Weird. Unearthly even. It didn't seem to really fit in Kalos, but then again, Scarlett couldn't think of a place it could fit in. It was it's own strange little planet of trees and mushrooms, and Scarlett supposed that would be interesting if it didn't give her creepy vibes. She had also noticed, that Zak had suddenly become quiet. She supposed that her responses hadn't really given much room for a real reply though. The conversation had somewhat just hit a natural dead end, but she wanted to keep talking. Opening her communicator, Scarlett pulled up Zak's number, and then hesitated. As much as she wanted to ask him his opinion, she didn't really feel like making "small talk" was a good idea. It came off as desperate almost, especially if she didn't have a real reason to send him the message. Scarlett shook her head and closed the xtransceiver again. She didn't really mind fairy pokemon. Hell, Luna was fairy type, but even she felt... Off, at times. There was something just... Strange about them. Scarlett couldn't quite put her finger on it.

Actually... Speaking of Luna, she had gotten quite strong as of late. She was quite possibly Scarlett's strongest pokemon currently, more than ready to take on Fantina when the time came. Perhaps it was time to take a look at her team and start training others. Taking a look at some of her other pokemon, Scarlett swapped Luna's ball out for her new cradily's, the interesting one that she had caught in the ruins. She had been tempted to train her popplio, but... She already had a strong water type on her team, Pearl. She needed to train up some other pokemon of other types first before she thought about training another water pokemon. Cradily was a beast of grass and rock type, and with it's storm drain ability, it made for a formidable opponent, under proper training of course. She wouldn't need it for her upcoming battle against Fantina, but it would certainly be worth her while to train here and there. That was, if it would work with her.

Scarlett sighed as she took a look around. She still couldn't shake the unnatural feeling that the place gave her. Giving in, Scarlett reached out to Zak via text.
Out of curiosity, how much experience do you have with fairy types? I'm in Laverre City right now and it's giving me the creeps for no reason. I don't know. Maybe it's just me.
Arceus, she felt like she was rambling, but she supposed he could take it as a lame way to get information on what Pokémon he had, even though that wasn't... Really her intention, though it would be nice information to have, so... sure, she could pass that off. At least it seemed like a less idiotic and desperate attempt to start another conversation.

Scarlett eyed the gym located here with a light frown, a giant tree outfitted with doors and windows in the center of the town. It should have been cute, eclectic even, but again, Scarlett felt strange about this whole place, and was grateful when her xtransceiver buzzed with a reply message from Zak.
Fairy? Nyet, not really.... And I'm not familiar with Laverre. What, is it covered in pink puffballs with wings and cherub arrows?
Scarlett felt some reprieve, amused by his suggestion of cherub arrows and puffballs. Honestly, she preferred something like that over this wacko place. She took a picture of the gym and added the image to her text to help give him a better idea.
That's just the Gym. Laverre is a city in Kalos with a Fairy type influence. The whole place feels like a friggin' nature dollhouse with mushrooms and twilit lighting. I swear it it's otherworldly, and not in a good way.

Sending the text, Scarlett heaved a light sigh. The eerie atmosphere was at least proving to be motivation towards collecting her eggs faster. Holding her breath, she neared some of the mushrooms, digging around them with her shoe to see if an egg was hidden inside. Eventually, Zak replied, and Scarlett more than happily stepped away from the fungus to check his reply.
Looks like something a bored old granny would make. What's wrong, Mishka? Not a fan of arts and crafts?
Scarlett chuckled and rolled her eyes and shook her head. She supposed all of this did sound ridiculous in retrospect, and it was somewhat calming to have that sort of perspective on it all. Maybe her uneasiness was PTSD from her experiences with the unown, since they exuded a somewhat similar aura.
Pft. I like arts and crafts just fine, but this isn't something grandma made in a macaroni art class at her retirement home. I feel like I went down the rabbit hole and now I'm in wonderland. I guess at a glance it looks harmless, but actually being here... I don't know. There's a weird vibe in the air. Something feels off. You'd have to come here to feel it yourself I guess, but then again I haven't had the greatest experience with this sort of thing, so sure, maybe I'm a little paranoid.
She wondered if getting pulled through a rift in time-space and fighting off swarms of dream frenzied unown in the distortion world could be considered a "bad experience". It was actually pretty fun, aside from getting psychically mind controlled into believing she was Riley's mother.

Reading Zak's next reply, Scarlett could no longer contain her amusement to a simple chuckle or snicker, she was full out belly laughing, even if it was only for a short while.
You sure you're not tripping, Mishka? Remember, don't eat the mushrooms, and if the rabbit asks you to tea, say no. I'm sure the fairies will leave you alone.
She certainly felt high just standing here. Maybe the mushroom fumes were getting to her, simply for the fact that there were just so many. It would explain the loopy feeling she'd been getting.
s**t, I knew mushrooms didn't go with tea.... The rabbit convinced me otherwise. Does this mean I can expect you to appear out of thin air with that cheshire grin of yours?
Haha but in all seriousness, these mushrooms are everywhere, so I wouldn't be surprised if the spores were having some weird effect. I'm getting out of here.
She smirked, sending the text. At least he was familiar with the references she was making, but she somewhat expected him to be well read. In spite of his intimidating presence and jock level love of basketball, he was intelligent and willing to do research, clearly. Anyways, she really was starting to feel weird, and if they didn't find it soon, egg or no egg they were leaving. She shook her head, and thankfully spotted a bright blue colored egg sitting underneath a mushroom. Holding her breath, Scarlett reached down to grab it, just in case these mushroom fumes really were getting to her. Afterwards, she called her ride charizard and got out of the cooky town as soon as possible.

Actually a bit relieved to be out of Geosenge, Zak looked around. He frowned. Huh. This... looked.... He paused. This was Laverre. This was the place Scarlett was freaking out over. Or, well, weirded out by. He moved around, looking for the door she'd sent him a picture of. The gym, it seemed, but after looking a moment, he simply casually lifted his device up, snapped a picture, and started another message to her.

Closing down his communicator, Zak looked around. He wasn't really sure what Scarlett had been going on about... the place just looked like a nature trail to him. A nature trail, in town form. He eyed the gym, before turning to move around. Then again.... it did have a sort of trippy feel to it. The place itself wasn't so odd, it was that... people lived here. It was supposed to be normal, but it clearly wasn't. It was serene, like being in the middle of nowhere, but it wasn't. It was.... odd.
