Use Bubble again!"Letting out an apologetic whine, the Horsea shot another barrage of bubbles at the Geodude. That should do it. Poor Agatha didn't seem to enjoy fighting the sleeping Rock Pokemon. Ezra would have to make it up to her. He should have gotten to know her better before actually coming up with the strategy, or at least asked if she was alright with it.

Sable gave a small wave to Ezra as he went off to try taking on the gym for himself, then used a damp square of cloth to finish cleaning off her goggles as she moved away from the Pokemon center a bit to get some training. Besides, the building seemed to be getting a lot of Pokemon coming towards it, and while the teen didn't mind the challenge, it was getting a bit odd fighting off a pastel army. As she started to walk, though, the teen heard a sort of frantic squeaking rapidly coming towards her."Zee! Spri Spritzee!"a small, pale yellow bundle of feathers chirped as it flew straight at the teen, ultimately flying into her back due to the girl stopping.
Jin snickered as the small Spritzee shook itself from where it had fallen to after colliding with the disguised Zorua's trainer."Congratulations, you go her to stop and wait. Now what were you planning to do?"he asked once he reined in his amusement. That bit of self control didn't last very long, and soon the dark-haired male was snickering again as the fairy type suddenly shot back up into the air and did a bit of a twirl as she flew."Right! I am the magnificent and glorious Madame Aroma! And I am here to... To..."The Spritzee's introduction had been spirited at first, but the Pokemon trailed off with a surprised look as she saw that the only two humans around - or, more accurately, one human and a Zorua with a human appearance - were Sable and Jin.
The small fairy blinked a few times with her pale blue eyes, taking in the situation. She then made a one-hundred-eighty degree turn and huffed before tilting to face the ground."No fair... How am I supposed to find myself a trainer worthy of my attention... When half of the candidates leave before I even get here!"The Spritzee's lament quickly turned to shouting chirps of rage as she tilted back upwards and chirped up at the sky. Ultimately, that ended up being what was needed to send Jin into a full on laughing fit, and that just seemed to get the fairy even more annoyed as she flew right into his face."And what, sir, do you find so funny about this?! Do you find a sweet little Pokemon's plight in not being able to locate a suitable trainer amusing? Well! That certainly crosses you off my list!"
Jin's laughter quieted a bit as he lightly pushed the Spritzee out of his face with a couple fingers on her beak, although it was more to keep from risking a coughing fit of his own due to the fairy's scent. "Far from it, miss Aroma,"the dark-haired male started, already being enough to prompt a reaction from the small fairy."Madame! Madame Aroma! Not miss, missus, missy, mistress, and certainly not just Aroma,"she huffed, then stopped and blinked in confusion as a thought suddenly hit her."...Wait... How did...? I thought humans couldn't understand me...?"The Spritzee's confusion made Jin grin a little bit as he chuckled softly."Well, you're mostly right. Most humans can't understand Pokemon at all. But then, I'm not exactly a human."
The yellow Spritzee blinked a few times at the male's words, then hovered to various points around him to investigate. Eventually she figured out that he seemed to be some sort of dark type, narrowing down his species quite a bit, then huffed again and what that meant for her."So then... I suppose that means my only remaining candidate is this girl next to you..."Madame Aroma then floated up to about chest height and flew off a bit to give herself some distance."She is your trainer, yes? Then tell her to prepare herself, as I shall not go easy on her! I am not so desperate as to simply allow myself to be captured by an untried fledgling!"
Jin nodded, although it seemed he didn't have much explaining to do as Sable had already recalled Scoundrel and unclipped the ball containing her Snivy."I'm guessing she's wanting a challenge?"the teen asked, earning a thoughtful look from her partner."To an extent. She's looking to see if you'll be a good fit for her."Sable gave a nod after Jin finished his explanation, then sent out her Snivy."Fair enough. We'll show her we mean business with Tackle."At the implied command, the grass type ran and jumped at the Spritzee to ram into it. Of course, the Spritzee figured on a move like that, and had a little kiss ready for the Snivy.
Sable frowned a bit, recognizing a Sweet Kiss when she saw one, but knew they couldn't back down just because of a little bit of trouble."Pull yourself together!"she called out, but ended up covering part of her face with a hand when the grass type stumbled over and got a rather bad bump for his trouble. The yellow Spritzee giggled a bit at the trouble its opponent was having, then started to glow as it prepared to heal the damage that had been done to her. Unfortunately for her, that little stumble also knocked the Snivy out of its confusion, leaving the grass type with an opening."Quickly! Hit her again with Tackle!"This time, the strike was enough to ground the little fairy.
Sable wasted no time pulling out a Pokeball and throwing it at the Spritzee, but the small Pokemon broke free after the first shake."Come on, dearie! You need to put more feeling into it than that if you want me to join up~"Even though she couldn't understand what the fairy type was chirping as it got back into the air, she could tell it was taunting her. Or something to that effect. Either way, it irked the girl some as she pulled out a second Pokeball."Stubborn, eh?"she asked the Spritzee as she tossed the ball up, then narrowed her eyes as she caught it on the way back down."Well, you're not the only one!"The teen now threw the ball at the Spritzee and hit it dead on, sucking the fairy type inside. The ball shook once, twice, three times before finally letting out a soft ping.

Well, that battle was so much easier than she expected. Well, more or less lucky. If Exeggcute's attack had been any stronger, Mikhail would have been a sitting duck. She healed the Charmander with potions before she spotted a Buneary. It looked like it was made of chocolate."What is going on here? Most of these Pokémon don't even belong in Kanto. Did I stumble into some parallel dimension where everything's pastel and...Easter-y? Jeez...."Still, these Pokémon were giving out loads of experience, so whatever. Deciding to give Mikhail a break, Avonlea sent out Tuo, and the Horsea gave a cheery squeal before rushing at the Buneary.

As he walked to the Pokémon, he spotted Sable battling a Spritzee, which she eventually caught. What were all these Pokémon doing here? It was ridiculous. Just as Sable walked over and picked up the Pokeball on the ground, she heard Ezra congratulate her. The teen chuckled and rubbed the back of her head with her off hand as she faced the blonde."Thanks. It's still pretty weird to see one of these so far out here. Aren't they supposed to be from... Uh... Kalos, wasn't it?"Sable had faltered a bit as she tried to recall the name of the region the fairy type should have been from, although that brought a new thought to her mind. That'd mean either someone dragged the Pokemon out here and released it or the little missy had flown all the way here from another region. That was a long way to go just to find someone to partner up with, no matter which of the other regions she might have come from. Even coming in from over at Johto would have been a daunting task for such a small Pokemon.
"Well, I should probably get some of my Pokemon healed up. First that Ekans and Scoundrel, and now Snivy and Spritzee,"the teen commented as she recalled everyone except Jin, then turned right around and walked back into the Pokemon center with Jin following along. Once she approached the counter, the teen gave the nurse a sheepish smile as she handed the woman the Pokemon that she needed healed up."Sorry about having to bother you so often. Seems we've somehow grabbed the attention of a pastel army outside, plus a few other Pokemon,"she apologized, though raised an eyebrow when the nurse chuckled."It's quite alright. I'd rather have someone come in several times than have them wait to get their Pokemon treated."Sable smiled a bit at the woman's reply.
After waiting for a while, the teen's Pokemon were ready to be collected, and soon after all but one of the balls were on her belt. The only one that was still in her hand was the one the Spritzee had been caught in."You said her name was Aroma, right?"she asked as she turned her head to look at the disguised Zorua. Jin nodded, although he had an amused smile as he did so."She prefers to be referred to as 'Madame' Aroma. In fact, she was rather adamant about it."Sable had a strange look on her face for a moment as she looked at the Pokeball containing the pale yellow Spritzee, then sighed lightly before letting out the Pokemon.
"Right, um... Madame Aroma,"the redhead started, earning a hum of acknowledgement from the Spritzee as she turned to face her new trainer."For now I'm just going to have you watch and see how the rest of the team battles. It'll also give you a chance to rest up for a while longer."Aroma considered the arrangement for a moment, then chirped in approval before perching on Sable's shoulder. It was only a brief rest, though, as almost immediately after the yellow Spritzee took flight once more, looked over her trainer, then blew out a light, fruity scent to perfume her trainer before once more perching on the teen's shoulder and letting out a pleased chirp. Sable glanced at the bird with a look that bordered on mild irritation, but at least she wasn't having a coughing fit this time around.

With things settled with the Spritzee now sitting on her shoulder, Sable made her way out of the Pokemon center while Jin followed along behind her."Sorry about that. At least we're getting some good training,"the teen offered with a smile as she spoke to Ezra. She didn't get much of an opportunity to wait for the male's reply, though, as an egg hit the ground with a crunch and a splat nearby. An irritated glance towards the direction the egg was in revealed a blue Chansey as the culprit of the egg tossing.
After thinking for a moment, the red-haired teen suddenly smirked and pulled a ball off her belt."I suppose this is as good a chance to start showing off as any.Sable said as she let out the Pokemon within. With a flash of light the Eevee materialized and looked up at his trainer for a moment. Well, specifically, at the small bit of yellow feathers sitting on the female's shoulder. The normal type figured he'd get acquainted later, though, and focused on the blue Chansey that wanted a fight.
The fight that the normal types got didn't last long at all, not with that Iron Tail attack the Eevee had. It was almost embarrassing how easy things fell to that move, but he wasn't in the mood to get himself hurt just to make things a little harder. Yipping happily, the tan and creame bundle of fur padded back over to Sable and sat in front of the girl. He then looked up at the yellow Spritzee sitting on his trainer's shoulder and started yipping at it in a somewhat friendly manner."Heya! I'm guessing you're a recent addition? Anyway, I'm an Eevee if ya couldn't tell, and right about now I'm the resident powerhouse of the team. Not that the others aren't pretty good in a scrap, I've just got a little edge in power at the moment."
