Theodin would make that choice over time, and she would make the choice to love Theodin over time, but the children, James already knew what kind of father his son would be. It would be very similar to the type of Father he himself was. A teacher and protector first and foremost, letting the children learn their own ways in the world with some pointers.
James, seeing the children guarded on two fronts, would slip put to his lab in the bottom of the acadamy, The children would need a skilled Babysitter, and James had just the idea to fill the role.

The clone of Theodin reached the house, with the two kids in tow and saw Asami rush to freshen up before heading to meet with its original. He then watched as the two kids ran to play with a pair of ice-looking puppies. Chuckling, he commented “Well, I guess you two have met Grandpa James.” Smiling, Tenshi piped up “Uh huh, he made us snow cones! How did you know, Daddy?” The Theo clone kneeled down, scratching the ice puppy on the head, “These puppies, he made them for you out of ice and brought them to life. I can do something really similar.” The clone would exhale a small puff of smoke and six tiny ice butterflies would form out of it, fluttering around the two children, making them both giggle. Tenshi would then run off to play with his puppy, as Noriko sat petting hers. The clone walked over closer to her and squatted down, “You ok, honey?” he’d ask, she would just nod shyly. The clone then had an idea, “You like animals, Noriko? Well, I can call in some friends of mine that’d probably be happy to meet you.” When the little girl looked at him confused, he bit his thumb and slapped the ground and a cloud of smoke appeared. As it cleared, 3 small red blurs zipped around the clone, stopping on either shoulder and on top of his head. Smiling at his little daughter, the clone said “Noriko, these are my friends, kind of like little brothers, Rin, Tin, and Jin,” The three red panda cubs bowed as their names were said, “brothers, this is Noriko…my daughter.” The three cubs looked at Theodin in surprise, “You have a cub, brother Theodin?!” The clone chuckled a bit, “Two actually, guys, my son ran into the next room playing with his puppy.” The three red pandas hopped down off of the clone and crowd around Noriko, sniffing her then climbed into lap, making the girl smile and start petting them. The cubs all nuzzled up to Noriko, causing the girl to giggle slightly, then the Theodin clone said “I’m sorry honey, but the cubs should probably be heading home.. maybe I’ll take you to and your brother to see their home one day, okay?” Noriko nodded slowly, “Uh huh, okay Daddy.” Then the cubs all bowed again and poofed away in puffs of smoke
After all that, as the kids were playing, the original Theodin snuck through the house quickly, heading for his room. He'd finally change out of his civilian clothes, throwing on this flak jacket, arm guards, headband, goggles, and grabbing his scrolls. Once he was suited back up in his ninja gear, he snuck back out of the house; leaving the kids with his clone.

Ayame cuddled close to James laying her head on his chest and just listened to his heart beat for a moment. She traced one of the many scars on his arm, I'm just worried about you. She said before hanging her head and letting her hair make a curtain around her. Asami has changed a bit, but it didn't help either that San decided he wanted to ******** interrogate her as soon as she showed up. Then Theo of course going with his instincts instead of his head with the whole one night stand thing, no the blame is not on just him. She looked at her hand and the claws that grew from it. She wasn't entirely human anymore. He takes after you and I that's for sure. Sometimes I wonder if you made the best decision creating him. I'm no longer who I once was thanks to being linked to Daichi. I'm more wolf than human, and that same blood runs through Theodin. She put her hand down, Do not think for a second I do not love him, I do. I have to put the mother aside when I give him missions and it scares me to send him out on the things that I do, but I will not slight him missions just because I worry. Ayame bit her thumb and slammed it softly into their bedroom floor. An anaconda sized snake poofed from the cloud and nuzzled into Ayame's hand. She gave a smile and scratched him under the chin. I know it's been a while Oroiki, but could you do me a favor and go find Theo. Just to check on him, and then find Asami. I need to know they are both ok. "I'm only teasing about that, and that's actually one of my proudest moments with Thodin, My family, our anger isn't like other people dear, when a Heir of my line gets truly mad, hundreds die. Walkin in the door to his family’s house, Theo sent the kill command to his clone, dispersing it, which made the kids look around and spot him in the doorway, both of them yelling “Daddy!” excitedly and running to him. Theodin would kneel down and scoop the two kids up, giving them both a big hug. Smiling at both of them as he set them back down, “Have you two been good for my clone?” He asked them, though he already knew the answer. When the children nodded their heads quickly, saying “uh huh, we were good, Daddy.” Theo chuckled softly, “I’m sure you both were, and I bet you liked my clone letting you meet Rin, Tin and Jin, eh, Noriko?” Noriko smiled really big, “Yeah, they were fun! I hope we get to play with them some more one day!” “Oh you will, honey, that’s for sure.” Theo told her as he looked around the house, “Mom, Dad, I’m home.” He’d say aloud, though he assumed that his mom had either heard or smelled him coming as he was walking up to the house. He then walked into the kitchen and started making a pot of tea, sitting down at the table as he waited for the water to boil and the tea to steep. The kids had run off again to play with their little ice puppies, Theo couldn’t help but chuckle a bit as Tenshi ran around like he was on an adventure. He almost wished he had gotten to have that kind of childhood, instead of jumping to a teenager and being sent straight into village life as a full shinobi, but at the same time had loved every minute of his time training and fighting, even though it led to some rough and dangerous situations pretty quickly and often.

Ayame smiled at James leaning into his touch, and giving a happy sigh. I know you're not afraid of some scratches. Your back proves that much. She said getting a pleased smile then pouting when he said they needed to go check on Theo. He's a big boy, and seeing as Oroiki hasn't come back telling me something is wrong I don't see why we need to leave this bed. She said grumbling.
