Then probably eat some lunch.
Be back in a bit.

I took a shower. Ate lunch. Went to town with my Dad to get a new battery for his car, to pick up my parking permit, and some groceries.
Now I'm listening to the soundtrack for the BBC series of Pride and Prejudice. I wish it was on MySpace, then I could make a playlist there containing all of the songs from the various Jane Austen movies. sweatdrop

Rachel Portman did the music for Emma? surprised I didn't know that. Or I did when I watched the series, but forgot about it since then.
I know the music she did for Chocolat, and I liked what she did for that.

I never realized how much of a Jane Austen fan I am. I'm sure as soon as I read more of her work, I'll become more of a fan. Might even possibly consider her as one of my favorite authors.
J.K. Rowling is one of my favorites.

Tomorrow I start my first day of class at the university I'm attending. First day of Love in the Arts (Topic: Jane Austen) class.
I'm excited to see what happens in this class. I already know that I'll probably end up keeping two of the three books - Pride & Prejudice and Persuasion. Not sure about the third book - Jane Austen in Context. Guess I'll see once I read/look at it more.
The other class (Native American Literature) I'm taking doesn't start until the next "session". So, it'll be about 4 weeks until I start that one up... right after I finished the Love in the Arts class.

Went to town today to deposit some of my penny bank money into my account. Had a nice amount in just the small amount I had there. Still have quite a bit left still to take too... after Mom and I finish checking to see if we need any of the coins or not... since our list of coins we need is a bit outdated. sweatdrop
And then I went and got myself a planner and a peechee with a kitty on the front. 3nodding

Now a Twilight themed collection of surveys ((all made by the same person)):
Have you read the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer? I've only read the first two books so far. I want to read the last two... it's just a matter of me getting my hands on them. And I don't want to just borrow them... I want the books to own, seeing as I already have the first two.
Have you seen the movies based off of the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer? Yes, I have.
On a scale of 1-5, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best, how would you rate the Twilight series? 3.5
If you enjoyed the Twilight books/movies, why? The storyline takes place in an area that's close to where I live, so I can connect to the characters, especially when it comes to the weather and the setting. In fact, some of the filming locations are a few minutes away from me. So... that's cool, driving past the area and remembering the scene(s) from the movie. A nice collection of characters, each with their own personality. While the portrayal of the vampires and werewolves are slightly different from the usual image, I think Meyer did a good job putting her own spin to the mythology. Especially when a lot of humans now a days are becoming vegetarians. Bet a lot of vampire lovers and actual "vampires" would like to know what "vegetarian" alternatives they can choose... especially if they don't want to drink human blood. xd sweatdrop
Would you suggest the Twilight books/movies to other people? Yeah, I would suggest people to read it. Doesn't mean that they have to be a fan of it or anything. But it's always nice for people to be familiar with popular trends and get a new perspective to common mythology tales.
Mark all the choices below that apply to why you like Twilight. [x] Werewolves [ ] Suspense [x] New Literary Idea [x] Vampire/Supernatural Genre [x] Good description/detail [x] Funny [x] Tone of Writing [x] Romance [/] Good characters [x] Easy Read [x] Story Idea [ ] Drama [ ] Escapism [x] Attention Grabbing [ ] Action
