The green creature came to face the human girl, it just stared at her while the other human awaited to see what Pokemon she would use. Now, since it looked like this was a Trainer who specialized in Bug Pokemon, Misa had to give this some thought. Rock type moves were strong against bug creatures but ground types were a poor match. Though, maybe it was a good reason that most of her Pokemon that those three had other moves on them.

”Geodude, come on out! Misa threw the floating rock’s Pokemon out. The reason behind her decision was that the faster these Pokemon became, then the more quickly she could train others. There were still plenty of her Pokemon that she needed to train. Even for the grass Gym Leader she had to get her Pokemon in tip top shape. Another reason? Sandshrew shouldn’t get all the training since she was going to use those three in her upcoming battle with the Gym Leader.

Geodude closed in a frightened Caterpie, its gaze look petrified and the poor thing didn’t even move. As Smack Down made contact with the bug creature, the Caterpie was sent flying back to its Trainer. The boy panicked as it tried catching the fainted creature in its hands.

The boy fumbled with one of his balls and then just appeared to throw a random one out. The Pokemon that came out was a Lv. 8 Weedle which meant that it was a Pokemon that had a Poison Point ability, or at least a Poison Sting move. Well, since Graveler had its chance to grow Misa still wanted to focus on Sandshrew since it was the only Pokemon left that had yet to even come close to get to that Lv. 30 quota. At least Graveler and Dugtrio were in their 20s but Sandshrew didn’t even come close.

While being concentrated on this battle another Trainer was just happening by when he spotted the battle. He could tell that the girl had an upper hand while the Bug-Trainer wasn’t going to be doing very well in this battle. Since there wasn’t much happening right now he thought that he could sit in and maybe wait for a battle on his own. As a Steel-type Trainer, well he did have an upperhand here in Kanto. A silky thread spewed out of the creature’s mouth and entangled the Sandshrew. Its speed was downsized considerable but nothing that it couldn’t handle. At least the yellow creature still had its Swift attack. ”Alright Sandshrew, use Swift once more!” Again, the yellow creature tucked itself into a tight ball just as yellow stars began to appear above it. This time the Weedle wouldn’t be so fortunate to survive this attack as stars hurled itself at the bug.

A small beep came from Misa’s device. She thought it might have something to do with Geodude’s evolution but it looked like it was just another notice about Pidgeotto being too close for comfort. Well, Misa had already decided that she would switch out Pidgeotto for that Poison-type Pokemon since she would need all the help she could get. Though, she decided to count on Zubat as Grass and Bug-type moves wouldn’t work so well on it.

Again, with a few buttons being pressed, Pidgeotto was switched out for a different flying creature. A Pokemon she just recently but one that showed promise in the upcoming battle. Plus, she had to place Charizard in her party so she could start training that one as well as devolve it. Even though it would evolve back into a Charizard again at least she would have proof that it was a Charmander and then evolved while it was trained. It wasn’t foolproof but it was the best she could come up with on the spot.
