Absinthe high-fived with Palladia, who used her one of her lower arms to do so, and the two followed Crystal onto the elevator. "Ebonite's made from Dark Gems, right? Palladia should be a good counter to that," Abby smirked, waving goodbye to Deo.

As the mission was being sent out and waiting on general assessments on the team's next move, I had been in the training room. While I, myself, couldn't really get to training again at this very second, much to my chagrin, I still at the very least could get to my Pokemon. Probably just for the better, actually. It gives me an excuse to make up for lost time between the frantic missions, my own regimen, and any other miscellaneous things that pull me away.

I had my entire entourage there grouped up on the training room floor, all attentive to me. "Alright guys, listen up." I called out to the likes of them. "Its been a bit, but I think its about time we got back to it. We got stuff going down in the world with a bunch of new rules hanging over our heads. We're probably going to have to redouble our efforts to try to make things a bit easier on ourselves in the long run. So to kick things off...Torchic, Cubchoo, Mudkip, Vulpix, Zigzagoon...I want to work with you guys first and foremost. I haven't really gone in depth with you guys, for a couple of you, well you're new to the party. For the rest of you, I haven't done that much admittedly and you guys kind of gotten well behind the curve. I take full blame for that one, its not your fault, don't take it the wrong way. So I'm going to do what I can to see about bringing you guys better into the fold. I tried to do as much with you Torchic in Galar and everyone, Torchic did real good out there."

The other Pokemon spoke up to Torchic, with a couple of them giving a pat on Torchic's head. "Speaking of Galar..." I walked towards the group of Pokemon, picking up the black and white Zigzagoon. I adjusted him in my arms to have him face the Pokemon group, his tongue flaling about as he looked about at the large group of Pokemon. Guys, you may have noticed you got a new teammate here. This is Zigzagoon...now he looks different than what you might remember other to be, but this guy is a variant from the Galar region like Vulpix is from the Alola Region so he has a few tricks that the other kind might not have. We're going to find out together what he's capable of. In the meantime, say hello, Zigzagoon."

The Zigzagoon barked a hello to the group and the rest replied in unison. I then sat Zigzagoon back down with the rest of the bunch then went back to where I was standing. "Apart from working with the little ones...Telia!" I then would address my Gardevoir.

"Voiir?" She spoke up.

"I want to work with you a little. I realized I haven't really worked on your Fairy type capabilities and while it hasn't been all that much of an issue, I feel like it wouldn't hurt to expand on your repritoire a bit. I come to find out recently that there's a possibility that you could learn Moonblast, for example. It probably wouldn't hurt to see if you can't start pulling those off. If nothing else, we can try to see if we can't make your Misty Terrain come forth with a bit more effeciency so it doesn't look like your cutting a massive wet one when you do it."

"GARDEVOIR!" the Gardevoir shouted, blushing in embarrasment.

"Hey! Sorry! Sorry!" I exclaimed, raising my hands up. "But you do! Seriously! Its weird. And it makes me believe that you don't really have a handle on it so its going to be something that we're going to work on, okay!? Alright...now, that's just a couple of items on the list but in the meantime, we're just going to do some drills, a little target practice, that sort of thin. I'll take up with you what we're going to do here after a while. Alright?"

The Pokemon all would reply in their own way. "Alright, five laps around the training room. Go!"

After relaxing a bit in his office Sub decided to head on down to one of the lower levels where the pool was, quickly finding his way to the indoor swimming area. While it was a typical modern indoor pool the water for it was drawn from the underground springs right here in Mt. Silver and was routinely filtered back out into the ground and replaced with more water leaving it so clean you could drink it if you wanted to and lacked any kind of chemicals. This was important to Sub as Pokemon of various species would use this pool, not just humans, hybrids as well, so he wanted to make sure no one would have an adverse reaction to the water.

Now sitting on the edge of the pool, shoes off and pants rolled up, Sub kicked his feet around in the water as he watched Hop-Frog jump into the water on one end of the pool, swim to another end, then jump back out and repeat the process. Pelipper on the other hand was ignoring the frog's antics and was simply enjoying floating around in the pool. Magikarp was lazily swimming around, just doing what Magikarp do. Pym on the other hand was dashing from one end of the pool to the other, scaring Hop-Frog when he could as he pretended to bite at him, the Sharpedo bullying the Froakie a bit. Then you had Croagunk sitting on the edge of the pool not far from Sub, relaxing and occasionally scooping up and slinging some water on its self to stay nice and wet.

This was nice, just hanging out with some of his Pokemon. Soon he'd probably get up and head over to the training room to work on training a couple of these guys but for now he was content with just relaxing with them.

The Pokemon after their warm up started to get in depth with the training regimen. For a majority of them, I had them to pair off and spar with each other in one regard or another, save for a select few. Namely the little ones in the squad. I was on the far side of the training room with the Alolan Vulpix, the Galarian Zigzagoon, Torchic, Mudkip, and Cubchoo. I was nearby Cubchoo with a massive weight bag. It was reinforced specifically for Pokemon use. It could take just about anything short of some higher grade attacks like Hyper Beams or anything a Legendary Pokemon might crank out. "Alright Cubchoo, one more time. You got to be quicker about it. They're not going to stand still when you try it so you got to be a quicker on the step. Now. Ice Punch."

Cubchoo's arms started to ice up, the tiny bear started to rush forward and started to pound away, however, there wasn't really any...heft...to it, for a lack of a better term. The bag didn't really budge...and there was only a little frost left behind from every strike, presumably tradeoff from the paw. "Okay, hold on. Cubchoo...here." I got behind Cubchoo. "One your not getting enough ice in that attack. You might as well be slapping them with snowballs at that point. Two, you're not putting your weight into it." I grabbed onto the Cubchoo's arms. "Pull back, push forward..." I told the bear, guiding him through the motions. "It sounds like a lot, I know, especially with you having to deal with a hostile target, but you can do it, okay? Ice, then lunge. One swift motion. Try it again."

I backed away. "Alright, Ice Punch!" The Cubchoo then made his way back to the heavy bag and landed his icy attack once again. It wasn't perfect, but it was better than what it was, indicated by a louder thud and a considerable more amount of ice left on the bag. "Better. Keep at it."

Brain walked into HQ, lost in his own thoughts for a moment. He'd known the Shadow Pokemon issue was a major problem, but he'd had no idea just how bad it was until seeing the outbreak in Mauville. And hearing that Trainer Hill was the source had him wondering just how long those people had been operating there before they'd arrived. Who were they, and what was their end goal? Why were they using, and distributing, Shadow Pokemon? These questions were ones he had no answers to, but he knew he couldn't let it affect him. Right now, his stomach was rumbling hungrily, so he decided to make a quick meal, both for himself as well as his Pokemon. It didn't take him long to make a pot of his usual stew, thanks to the berries that were always stocked in the fridge.

Once it was ready, he took his portion to a nearby table, noticing Deo sitting there, as well. The Luxray hybrid seemed lost in thought, and Brian wondered if he might be hungry. Fixing an extra bowl of the stew, he placed it in front of Deo, along with one of the poffins he made for Electric-types. "Here, Deo," he said, offering a friendly smile as he got out the bowls for his Pokemon. "Food should help, especially after the day we've had." Taking his homemade Pokemon food, he placed it in each of the three bowls, then let most of his team out. He purposely didn't let his newest capture out just yet, wanting to let her out away from the rest of his team to avoid a possible confrontation between them. "Time to eat, guys," he said, as Lu, Firebrand, and Sparx all dug into their food happily.

---------------------------------------------

Amber walked down the hall toward the pool. There had been a lot of stress to deal with today, so she'd decided to head down and let her team out to let out any frustration or stress they were dealing with. And it had been a while since Bubbles and Gary had been able to swim, so this would be doubly good for them. As she reached the area, she noticed a few familiar Pokemon out, and walking into the room, she saw Sub sitting there. Ah, perfect timing, she needed to let him know what she'd found. Granted, he might not recognize her now, thanks to her hybrid form, but that might not be a bad thing.

"Hey, Sub," she said, opening four of the Pokeballs she was carrying to allow her team out. Bubbles and Gary immediately headed for the pool, Bubbles jumping in and Gary merely sinking to the bottom. Spooky stayed invisible near her, as he always did, and Arauth floated off nearby so that she was out of the way, but could still enjoy the company of her teammates and Sub's Pokemon. "So I found something interesting when I was down in the tunnels under Trainer Hill," she said, pulling out the items she'd had Spooky steal while on the mission and holding them out to him. "I don't know if these had anything to do with the Shadow Pokemon they were distributing, but I figured I'd bring a couple back, anyway, just in case they turn out to be important."

Crystal poked the button for the holding floor once Absinthe and Palladia entered, watching the doors close quickly afterwards. The enclosed box then descended rather quickly, their prisoner not stirring the entire time. When the doors opened, she’d step out and glance at the cells, walking up to one that had a curious small dent in the flooring, before turning to Abby. “So, I don’t think we’ve had the chance to talk much, actually. So, ah…” She paused, thinking about what to ask while putting the woman on the cot, making sure that the door to the cell was locked before turning back to Abby. “So. Apologies for assuming from your one Pokémon out here, but are you planning on becoming a fighting specialist, or you just happen to have a Machamp on your team?”

"I mean, not a specialist necessarily. I also like Fire- types. My starter is Fire and Fighting, so..." Absinthe explained, trailing off at the end. She then realized she only had the one Fire-type, and all four of her Pokemon, including the Fire-type, are Fighting-types. "...yeah, I haven't really found any other Fire-types since joining Snagem. You know, during missions and such. Actually, yeah, wow, come to think of it, all four of my Pokemon are Fighting-types. Angela (Blaziken), Palladia (Machamp), Broly (Breloom), and Fluffy (Bewear)... yeah. I don't know why I'm only noticing this now, but... eh. Guess I just gotta get out more, and no, that's not an invitation for you to run your mouth, GRAY," the young Deathrage insisted.

"So yeah, since we're talking now, what kind of Pokemon are you into? F-from a training standpoint, I mean," Abby asked, not wanting to give Crystal the wrong idea.

Kazu teleported back to HQ and looked around, trying to find a familiar face. He looked at the Pokeball of the Shadow Pokemon he just caught. The boy then went to the Hanabi siblings room. Nobody was there. Where was Leon? Kazu went to his SNAG and gave Leon a call.

"Not now kid." "Where are you?" "In front of Trainer Hill." Kazu was a bit baffled. "I-I could've gone!" "You already did enough. You got your first taste of Shadow Pokemon. Sub gave me a run down on what happened. You don't want to see the next part. Leave that to me for now." Leon then disconnected the call as Kazu was a bit agitated. He was angry that people would do this sort of thing. But, he understood why Leon went instead of him. He was still a weakling.

Rhyme looks...a little worse for wear coming back into the HQ, racing to her room and slamming the door shut behind her. Catching her breath, she carefully goes to her bed and settles her bag onto the bed, and then spills it over the bed carefully to look through her treasures.

Zwei is trying to find the room he shares with Rhyme, and enters a random room, thinking it was his room! He goes about, sniffing around and his good Yamper sniffer catches....snacks!!

He dives under the bed, happy barking and sniffing around, trying to locate these snacks!

Turning to Brian and thanking him for the electric poffin, which tasted wonderful by the way. Deo then felt somewhat tired and wanted to get a new set of clothes then hit the showers after getting wet from the sprinklers in that darn store. He tiredly got up and went to the room where his hearing heard something from his room that sounded…. Weird.

If anything was in there, it would probably be that gardevoir that was here when he first arrived, after all, he carried his favorite thick blanket. He then walked up where the sounds got louder. He used the X-ray vision on the door and discovered the entire hallway is covered on the inside with lead.

“Well, sub you know what is expecting…”
Deo said with amazed as he went back to normal vision. He fumbled around his pockets for his keys. That is when he found his keys and opened his door. Where he found a cute pokemon hybrid scavenging under his bed for what appears to be snacks. He would be angry that an intruder is in his room, but he felt like not yelling at it because it is too darn cute!

“You’re a cute one, aren’t you” he would say when he saw the cute face of a yamper “You are good you silly Yamper hybrid, aren’t you a cute thing” as he reaches in his pocket and throws a poffin to him.

Zwei was very, very distracted and fascinated by this bed. He didn't realize he didn't...that this wasn't his space!! Especially when he hears voices coming in, and crawls out to poke his little head out and stare briefly at the other coming in. "Hi! Sorry! I'm very cute and it seems I'm in the wrong room to start!!" He crawls out, sheepishly ruffles dark strands, and laughs, then gasps as a Poffin is thrown hsi way. "Poffin!!" The boy cheers, and then breaks apart the treat in half and holds half out. "Here! Share with me, ah...." A pause. "I'm Zwei! What's your name?"
PostPosted: Mon Jul 11, 2022 9:33 pm
"Name is Deo!" as he takes the half a poffin and gobbles it up. "You are allowed here, I do not mind at all!" Deo can not help but be happy around this one, he felt happy enough to do something for the first time since he became a hybrid.... smile.

Monique was in the cafeteria, with a library volume set out on the table in front of her: Weather Conditions of Hoenn, a publication produced by the regional Weather Institute.

This was her first introduction to what weather actually entailed and how it interacted with Pokémon. Now that she had a Castform—a Pokémon more in tune with weather than anything else—she needed to understand what it actually was looking for and how weather moves worked.

There was a clipping pasted on the back cover on Shadow Sky, too. Someone at Snagem figured this would happen at some point...

Monique looked around. The weather was just...normal to them, but to her it was as alien as Castform or Camerupt or the many new Pokémon she'd been introduced to. It was still a lot to take in.

"Deo? Deo! Deo's a cool name!" Zwei answers happily, and plops himself down on the floor. "I mean, thats really nice thanks! I usually have the room next to Rhyme, but I got lost. Been a SUPER long time since I was in my room though. I appreciate it, though!" His head tilts one way, then the other. "I'mma Yamper hybrid. What kinda hybrid are you?"

Filter? Not much of one. Least hes' an honest sort.

An Alolan Vulpix pops her head through the cafeteria door, sloooowly trots herself into the room and makes her way to try and snag a berry before her trainer shows up. Shes' followed shortly by a Marshtomp with a red ribbon around it's neck and a Pachirisu hybrid behind her, whose adjusting her beanie and has decided to go from her room to grab a bite. She takes a moment to observe the Castform and the newcomer, and goes to grab her food first before interrupting.

Clare would be found in the kitchen by the time the Snagems came back from Hoenn, a Cranidos in front of them, Visage on their shoulder. "Alright, Rasana... According to GRAY, you're a carnivore so... Let's see if this tastes alright?" They offered, setting a a bowl of Pokemon food on the floor in front of him. The ancient Pokemon sniffed it suspiciously before taking a tentative bite and chewing it for a moment before swallowing and eagerly digging back into the remainder of the bowl. "Huh... Guess so." They smiled as they sat down to enjoy a simple meal of their own, a small bowl of Torchic noodle soup.

Lykas and Odd were also present though the pair were in the training room at the moment, doing a bit of training with their Pokemon. Lykas was still a bit saty over how he had lost to Robin in the World Championship Cup and was determined to do some training in order to prevent such a thing from happening again if possible.
