Tristen watched as Camp lead the way towards Cortondo and the Manetric hybrid went on and followed him. Tristen started to look around, trying to make sure that there was no one else out to try to blindside him. That said, it was a little hard to act ‘normal’ considering everything that was weighing on Tristen’s mind. He wasn’t feeling all that jovial right now like what he tried to put on over the past week in public. Once at the public restroom, Tristen would go on ahead and try to get cleaned up at least a little. He’d rinse off his face and wash his hands as best as he could. As soon as he did, he looked up towards the mirror. He continued think about what he truly needed to do from here on, and it just wasn’t coming to him. He could only wonder what anyone else in Snagem would do in this particular case…
Does he tell them? Fela and Penny might be able to take this a little more composed. B and E though probably won’t on virtues of them being young and excitable they are. They would sure to tell Matteo even if it was them still being as innocent as they usually are. That said, what if Team Star went after them at some point? Don’t they have the right to know? To be ready? The right to break ties for their own safety? There was just no easy answer for any of this. As he told Fela before, he never wanted any of this. He wanted to be an actual normal student here. He wanted to take classes like another student. He wanted to be treated like another student here. But after tonight, this was perhaps an impossibility. What Tristen figured, something was going to come to a head soon, one way or another. It was inevitable. The question was if it was going to be on Tristen’s terms or not.
Once he was done, he would follow Camp off for Every Wich Way finally meeting back with Fela, Penny, and the twins. Just as Tristen feared, the twins would pick up the smell immediately. Taking a seat, Tristen looked at the sandwich and gave a nod. “I’ve never tried one before. I’ll give it a try. Thank you.” Tristen said, trying to sound as grateful as he could, but he was still sort of out of it between being deep in thought and the Momento from earlier. Tristen would quickly jump however when Fela was about to start prodding into why Tristen was so late coming in and Camp coming in to jump to the rescue. Tristen found himself slightly agitated at himself that Camp is doing that. That probably just gave Tristen the direction he needed to go from there on. He couldn’t rely on Camp to do this. It wasn’t any fair to him either. Tristen looked around for a moment, taking a look in the restaurant. There were still a good few people here. He couldn’t break that kind of news, and he didn’t imagine the twins keeping it down either should he break the news. “Hey, uh…Fela, Penny?” Tristen spoke up. “Mind when we go back to Mezagoza, I ride back with you two. I need to talk to you about something.”

Camp would flinch as Tristen spoke, noting exactly what they boy was going to do, the Bug Catcher letting out a sigh and simply turning back to his sandwich. It was Tristen's business after all.
"Huh? I mean...sure? Is everything okay?" Fela responded to Tristen, putting her sandwich down gently as she wanted to focus completely on Tristen. Something was wrong, she felt it when they first showed up and now this just confirmed her suspicion. "Penny! Did you hear Tristen?" Fela said, nudging Penny to get her attention.
"Yeah! Yes...I uh...heard him. Sure, okay, that's fine with me." She responded, looking up from her phone for a brief second before putting her nose back in it. Fela just rolled her eyes.
-----
The group would finish their sandwiches and relax for a bit, an awkward vibe in the air as they did. After awhile Fela would summon the taxis, Camp and the twins loading into one which immediately set off and Fela and Penny in another, waiting for Tristen to get in. Once he was in the taxi would take off.
After several minutes into the flight Fela would speak up. "So uh...what's up?" She asked, breaking the tension. Penny would actually put her phone down at this point and look towards Tristen.

That said, his bringing up wanting to talk to the girls in particular brought a tension in the air that was a bit of a joy kill. Unfortunately, it wasn’t going to get any better once they got on the trip on the taxi. Tristen could only just try to mentally prepare for what he was about to break to the two to bring them in the know. It wasn’t going to be easy though, and he had a feeling that in some respects, things weren’t exactly going to be normal, against what Sub wanted out of Tristen, but the Manetric hybrid couldn’t see any other way around it. He had to bring it up before they were caught off guard over something or if another rumor started to spread around that would of threw questions onto Tristen anyways. Just the fact that Tristen showed up as he did already made Fela in particular stare at Tristen and Camp in a bit of suspicion. Once they were done and they found themselves on the taxi, Tristen waited until the two got in the air. Well, here goes nothing. “Uh…well…I figure to tell you two instead of out in public, or in front of the twins because…well, you know…” Tristen sighed a bit. “Something did happen before Camp and I showed up at the sandwich shop. When everyone went off, you two and the twins getting into town and Camp went off to go…I guess catch another bug…I got attacked. By Team Star. I smelled weird to the twins because that girl, Mela, attacked me with her Torkal and a couple of Zoroark hybrids and their Houndour. I ended up beating them all. Barely. I managed to beat up the Zoroark hybrids, but Fela almost managed to get the better of me. Between managing to get out one of my Pokémon in the nick of time and Camp coming in to tie up Mela with his Pokémon’s String Shot. Camp and I ended up finding out why they were after me too. They were put up by someone to go after me to get after my dad.” Tristen told the two. Tristen didn’t want to go in any further as of yet. This whole thing was already rough and it needed time to at least digest for a minute. Fela was already told about him being antagonized before now, so it might not be too much of a surprise, but he needed to bring Penny probably up to speed to at this point.

Returning to the academy from a fight in the poisonous woodlands and a Psyduck, Xavier, riding piggy back. He walked... well, stumbled, into the academy ignoring the fact that he was being berated by the school nurse who scolded him for skipping out and sneaking out of the school before being healed. He managed to get to the cafeteria where he got a sandwich for his psyduck, his pokemon, and 3 trays worth of 15 sandwiches for himself. After finishing it off, he then overheard people talking of “the fight between a hybrid and team star” which he was more concerned about the chimchar hybrid he saved.
He would wander about, go to his dorm and rest a bit. The nagging thought that there was a fight would be enough to get him up and going, after a fresh shower and a change of clothes. He would then go doing some snooping, starting with checking in with the Principal.

Blizzard120 Tristen didn’t want to go in any further as of yet. This whole thing was already rough and it needed time to at least digest for a minute. Fela was already told about him being antagonized before now, so it might not be too much of a surprise, but he needed to bring Penny probably up to speed to at this point. Fela and Penny both listened to Tristen in silence, neither wanting to interrupt him. Once he was done speaking Fela would look to Penny to gauge her reaction to this news but didn't see much of one, at least not on her face, and so turned back to Tristen, deciding she would break the silence herself. "Well...at least you're okay? I'm glad you were able to fend them off and Camp managed to help you. I wouldn't know-" "Mela is active again?" Penny asked, cutting right to the bit of information where Tristen revealed that Mela was just out and about. This appeared to be news to Penny. Did she know Mela had been defeated by Team Snagem? That she was turned back in to Clavell? That didn't seem like it was public information, Clavell had specifically requested Sub take care of Team Star quietly. Though it was debatable if Tristen knew that or not, either way it was strange that Penny focused on that first. "I guess so...I haven't seen her around the academy in almost a year, let alone anyone talk about her." Fela commented, personally not finding Penny's focus to be too strange, instead taking it passing and moving onto another question. "Uhm...is your dad someone important? Like, why are they after him?"

Penny’s sudden interest in Mela wasn’t lost on Tristen. Tristen didn’t know anything pertaining to the Starfall and Penny should know even less. With Fela bringing up Mela not being around school for the better part of a year, it would make sense…but oddly, Tristen founded it a little coincidental. It probably was only that, but it wasn’t anything he wanted to be concerned about right as of now. “Um…yea, more than he wants to be.” Tristen said. “The person that’s actually after him is really mad at him because he was integral to stopping her and her boss…at the battle of Black City in Unova. In fact, she and him got into a really nasty fight which ended up her falling out of the third floor of a building under construction. He’d like you to know him as Blizzard, apprentice or future gym leader of the Mahogany Town Gym in Jhoto. You’d probably know him better as one of the bigger members of Team Snagem. Or even more so lately, the ‘Noble hybrid.’” Tristen turned away from a second, sighing a bit. “As if Matteo didn’t already have enough to be upset about me over…”

"The Noble Hybrid!? That's your dad!?" Fela shouted in disbelief, he mouth slightly open as she stared at Tristen in shock. Penny however seemed less surprised, maybe slightly as she stared at Tristen from behind her big round glasses. Once the initial shock passed Fela was able to speak again, however still recovering from the big surprise. "Don't worry about Matteo." She began, looking out at the horizon, as if she was still reflecting on the news of his father. "He'll get over his jealousy towards you...eventually. True, this is probably the longest I've ever seen him stick with one of his envy tangents but he always gets over it."
"...usually." Penny chimed in, looking down at her phone. It would appear she was doubtful if Matteo would in fact get over it. Looking up and noticing she was being stared at she let out a sigh. "...I'm just saying nothing Matteo has had to deal with when it comes to...this stuff...has ever been as massive as Tristen's skill, connections, and even his father. All of those things were once something Matteo bragged about and held over others and now...well...someone topped him in all fields." Penny said with a shrug before going back to her phone.
Fela stared at her in silence for a bit and then turned to look at Tristen, giving him a look that said 'she's right'.
Eventually the taxi would make it to the academy and touch down in the front courtyard, Penny quick to disembark while Fela waited for Tristen to go first, extending a courtesy she thought he needed.

Tristen couldn’t help but to jump a little bit, then looked towards the ceiling of the taxi, wondering if the taxi driver ended up hearing that over the Squakabilly squalling over them. As Tristen listened to the girls, he couldn’t help but to make a deep sigh. He honestly wondered if Matteo didn’t already know by now. It too wasn’t important, as far as what Tristen was concerned. “Anyways, the reason why I am telling you two this is because after tonight, I have the feeling that things aren’t going to be quiet with me. I got the feeling that maybe that this person who is getting Team Star to do stuff got Star to spread the rumors about me. Probably a message, I guess. I don’t know. And if she has been keeping up with everything Team Snagem has been doing here in Paldea, then there is the chance that she could get Team Star to get more rumors for example to spread like wildfire, like you’ve said they do. Worse case, they might come after you guys just because you know me. I didn’t think it was fair for you guys to be in the dark about it then suddenly something bad happens.”
Tristen looked out the window for a second, seeing that it wasn’t long before they were going to land in Mezagoza. Maybe a matter of minutes. “In case you might be wondering, I didn’t really lie to you guys. When we all got here, and suddenly got signed up to be in the academy, I was maybe the only one who was excited to be here. I wanted to learn things and make new friends here; I didn’t really get that in Snagem headquarters. Closest I had for a long time was Freth teaching me some of the school subjects the best she could and as far as others my age, the only one I had was one that you met, Penny. Leslie. She’s kinda more of a bully than anything. I tried to keep myself apart from whatever the rest were doing because I wanted to be like everyone else here. I didn’t want anyone to look at me or treat me different just because I knew someone or because of me being part of the team or even simply having strong Pokémon. You guys all saw what happened when I took on Nemona. Like I said, I never wanted it…I just wanted…to be known for me.” Tristen told the two. In a sense, Tristen felt a little relieved when he got this off his chest, but at the same time, he realized that this was a heavy responsibility that he found himself taking on. Even if he hadn’t told them a single thing, now that Team Star had a bead on him, his new friends were going to be of an issue. He’d have to keep up with Camp, B, E, Fela, and Penny a lot and simply just distancing himself from them was not going to work.
Once the taxi finally landed, Tristen watched as Penny got off and as the two looked at each other, Tristen took it as a gesture to leave first. Tristen would get off and help Fela off as well, at least trying to remain some sort of gentleman. “I’m…uh…going to need to go to the Nurse’s Office once we get back into the academy. I need to see someone about Dragonite. He kinda got hurt pretty bad in the fight back there…” He said. “If you want to come along, we can see about getting Spewpa his stuff back from my dorm when I am done. Otherwise, I guess I can try getting Spewpa’s stuff to you some other time.” He suggested to Fela.

Fela would take Tristen's assistance getting down from the cab and thank him, waving off the taxi driving before turning back to Tristen to listen to his offer for her to join him. The girl would shake her head and politely decline. "No...I feel like you might need some time alone, after everything that happened. Go to the nurse's office and I'll swing by your room in the morning to get Spewpa's stuff. Just..." She began to say before reaching out and giving Tristen a tight squeeze of a hug before pulling away. "Be careful. Good night." She said before turning around and walking away.

Tristen was a little surprised from Fela taking him in her arms and hugged him. He would hug in turn, at least to try to give the confidence he and everything else was going to be fine. Though honestly, Tristen wasn’t honestly so sure of that. He wanted it to be though. He had to make sure it was going to be. He needed to be ready. Once Fela pulled away, a word of concern and a parting, Tristen would not. “I will. Good night, Fela.” He said as he watched her walk off. Tristen sighed for a moment, shoving his hands in his jacket pockets. Tired as Tristen felt right now, he started to have doubts about being able to go to bed right away tonight. His mind was stirring with all manner of thoughts that he was trying to parse through. Maybe it was a good thing that he was going to the nurse’s office to see Doc Owl…he needed some sage advice at this point again.
With Fela now gone and so has the others, Tristen would start making his way off to the academy. The steps to the front doors felt like an eternity now as he went up one step after the next. Tristen wasn’t sure if that was him still being out of it as he was or if what he had weighing him down on his mind. He wasn’t sure. All the same, once he made it to the top of the stairs, he’d make it to the academy, into the prestigious halls, and started his way to the nurse’s office. Once he got there, he looked around, he took notice to Orderly propped up against the corner of the office, sawing logs with Doc’s Litten on his lap, lightly snoring away. Doc was at a nearby desk, looking at a bit of paperwork, seeing Tristen making his way in the room. “Sometimes I question, Doc, if you ever get some sleep.”
“Some nights are easier than others.” Doc said. “…Tristen have you been in something? Your pressure is off…”
“I guess Sub didn’t tell you yet. Um…” He looked around. “You alone?”
“Yes.” Tristen looked around once more, looked back behind him, then closed the door to the office.
“I got in a fight earlier. Team Star came after me.” Tristen said.
“Are you alright?”
“Mostly. Dragonite isn’t though. Do you mind, Doc?”
“You really are taking after your adoptive father.” Doc said. “Let me see…”
Doc would get up and Tristen would release Dragonite from the Pokeball for him to look him over. As Doc started to give aid to the Dragonite, Doc would look back towards Tristen who is oddly silent. “Are you feeling well, yourself?” Doc asked.
“I…don’t know. Its funny you mentioned Blizz. I think I actually get what his problem is and I wish I had an answer for it now.” Tristen said.
“Oh dear…and how did you come to the revelation of his problem?” Doc asked.
“Team Star knew who I was. That I’m a Snagem, that Blizz adopted me, all that stuff.” Tristen said. “They tried to capture me so they could get at Blizz. Malva is back, Doc.”
“…the Elite out of kalos aiding Lysandre? You’re certain?” Tristen only nodded. “Now what has gotten into her to use a bunch of juveniles in another region for her schemes?”
“I don’t know. Sub and I only found out about it just recently. By the way, don’t bring this up to anyone. Not even Blizz, please. Sub is supposed to be looking into it more.”
“Its like that, hm? I understand. Go on.” Doc said.
“So, if they know who I am, what is to say they wouldn’t go after my new friends just to get me to go along with them? Just to get to Blizz?” Tristen said.
“I see.” Doc said. “I suppose that is in the ballpark of what is ailing your father. It feels as if a curse and there is no easy answer to it, because as we have seen, just merely getting into one fight into the next isn’t necessarily fixing things, is it? Tristen, the only thing I can only tell you is that since you are in this sort of…profession, in a matter of speaking, even if you had distanced yourself from it, had nothing to do with anything even from the word go, it probably wouldn’t have been easy because of your relation to him. It was why at the very least Blizzard went out of his way to try to make sure that if he wasn’t around you were ready for what was to possibly come if push came to shove.”
“No one deserve to be caught up in this, Doc…”
“You’d be correct. But it is the hand you have been dealt, as it was to Blizzard. The question is, how do you take care of it using the skills and the knowledge you have?” Doc then asked. “I’d suggest right now just to wait on Sub and see what he finds. Don’t act hasty on anything.” Tristen wondered for a moment that if Sub thought of the same thing at this point. It was probably why Sub suggested to go around like nothing wrong, just act normal. Maybe it can give Tristen some time to figure something out.
Doc would eventually patch up Dragonite, the dragon feeling a bit better, though Tristen would probably need to keep an eye on him for a little bit. Tristen would to try to see if he couldn’t get Dragonite comfortable in his dorm somehow tonight. Giving thanks to Doc Owl, he’d recall Dragonite back to his ball then made his way off for his dorm for the night.

Tristen would retire to this room and sleep through the night comfortably, no threats to speak of, no strangers staring at him, and no one trying to kidnap him. It was a respite into the night for the boy, one he much deserved. However, while there were indeed no strangers to speak of nearby there was one person close by, not a stranger, and it wasn't his next door dorm mate. Perched outside on the ledge next to his window...
"Nevermore!" Crowed Nevermore, getting a bit antsy with their lookout, as nothing of interest had happened yet.
"Shh! People are sleeping!" Sub whispered to his bird perched on his shoulder, trying to silence the corvid quietly enough as to not alert anyone to their presence. Nevermore seemed to take the command well and decided to keep her beak closed. She wasn't her predecessor and the girl had a lot of learning to still do but she was getting there.
Looking to the window which he knew belonged to Tristen's room Sub thought about the boy for a bit. He felt bad for the child, all the responsibility and stress thrust upon him without his permission, it wasn't fair. And while he was being targeted because of something his father did Sub couldn't help but feel indirectly responsible as Blizzard would have never put down Malva had Sub not put the Cold One on that path. And speaking of the feathered man he didn't feel like this life was being fair to him either.
And so the Dark One would do what he could to protect them both, give them at least some sort of semblance of normalcy and peace, even if it meant lying and withholding information to one and staying up all night to watch over the other. Because that's what the Dark One does, right? He lingers in the darkness. "It's going to be a long night..." He thought to himself as he looked up at the waxing moon.
-----
The next morning would come and fortunately for Tristen no drama came with it. The sun would rise, the birds would chirp, and class awaited. The only thing eventful that went down was he received a knock on his door and a familiar voice calling out on the other end, as if she knew he would need verbal confirmation to be relaxed about opening it up.
"Hey Tristen! It's me, Fela! You up yet?" She said loudly as she knocked on the door, arriving almost an hour before the first bell rang.

Tristen would find his way back to the dorm room after his trip to the nurse’s office. Just as before he went off to go with the others, he ended up closing the door behind him, locking the door, then checked the dorm again to make sure that there had been no signs of an intruder. Though at this point, really, Tristen couldn’t imagine what they would go after in this room. Tristen had nothing valuable in here. Not unless Team Star was wholely interested in Spewpa’s food or the swaddle or the multitude of other things Fela left here before her trip to the Kalos region. Tristen would then proceed to get a much-needed shower after that brawl he underwent, finally getting the charred smell off of him, at least for the time being. That said, he stayed a while under the shower head, trying to think as to what to do from here on. Everything felt as if it was inevitable here. He was hoping Sub had an answer for him sometime soon. He didn’t want to continue going on like this. Even if the situation with Malva was dealt with in short order, Tristen could only wonder if it was even worth staying in this academy anymore? The Manetric hybrid wasn’t sure. Once he finally pulled out of the shower, Tristen would release his Dragonite out in his room to check up on him. Tristen checked to make sure everything was in place for Dragonite to be okay in his room for the night, just as Doc Owl directed him to. Dragonite would curl up nearby the kitchenette area, as it was the largest spot in the dorm and would just go to sleep for the night with the note that if he needed anything to wake Tristen up. Tristen succumbed to the bed sheets for the night.
Tristen’s alarm would go off and Tristen pulled himself out of bed once more. A yawn and brief rubbing of the eyes, Tristen started to look about a bit then took a deep breath. He didn't apparently need to get up, Dragonite was still sleeping soundly up until the alarm went off. The dragon did stir awake, seeing Tristen shifting in bed, but then promptly went back to catch a few extra minutes. Tristen shifted his feet out then took a look at his hand, sparking some electricity. At the very least, the night’s sleep allowed him to get over the Zoroark hybrid’s work, Tristen figured. He would then get up and get ready for the day. Tristen would spend some time getting ready for class today, still keeping in the back of his mind to just go on as if things were normal still, so he was at least going to do just that. He would get dressed mostly, holding off on putting on his jacket or tie for the time being, at least not until after breakfast. He'd start fixing breakfast in his dorm room, just a quick scrambling of a couple of eggs and a couple of pieces of toast. At least that was generally the plan…
As he was over the small countertop stove trying to scramble the eggs, he perked up hearing the knock at the door, hearing Fela there. Dragonite perked up then sat up where he laid, a yawn out of the dragon. Tristen practically triple-taked, trying to quickly figure out what to do. “Uh, yea, just a sec!” Tristen called back to her. He quickly snatched a kitchen towel and put it on the counter then move the hot pan onto it as to not to burn the counter. Fela was a lot earlier than he expected her. After quickly turning off the eye, he started to rush over towards the door, having to effectively dance around Dragonite, making it to the door and opened it. “Hey, Fela, come in.” Tristen said.

As Tristen opened the door he would be greeted by a smiling Fela, the girl giving him a little smile before saying; "Thank you! Good morning!" She said as she passed through the door, carrying a small basket of some sort of pastries and set them on the counter of the kitchen. "Breakfast empanadas! My mom stopped by super this early this morning on some business in the academy and brought me way more than I could eat so I thought I'd share!" She explained to Tristen.
After setting the basket down she looked around, clearly looking for something. "Not to rush you but you have Spewpa's things together?"

Tristen stared in a bit of surprise as he closed the door behind her. “Oh, uh, thanks.” He then looked over towards his eggs for a second, and his toast would finally pop out of the toaster just then, almost the profound timing that she had. “I can give them a try. What about you Dragonite?” “Arro.” The Dragonite spoke up. Tristen then looked back towards Fela when she asked about Spewpa’s things. “Ah yea, here.” He had the stuff in generally a neat pile near where Fela was standing. The food, the blanket, the nature ambiance CD, and the whole amount of other things that little Fela knew Tristen never really went into. Essentially, they never needed it, and for two of the days for that matter, Spewpa was too much of a pill to even care. “So, are you alright?” He then asked Fela, a little concerned about last night. “Last night was…ehh…I kinda left you in a weird spot, didn’t I?”

Fela would go about gathering the items together in a bag she brought, one of those reusable shopping bags which were really popular in Mesagoza, considering how many shops there were and how much people just walked all over the city daily. As she was putting the items away she listened to Tristen and perked up at the question and smiled. "Yeah, I'm okay. Really I should be asking you if you're okay." She said with a slight chuckle before putting the last item in the bag and then slung the bag over her shoulder, turning to face Tristen.
"Don't worry about it, I'll be okay." She said before walking up to Tristen and giving him a quick hug before heading for the door. "I have one more stop to make before class, sorry to rush out on you." She said, opening the door but stopping before passing through, turning her head around to look at Tristen and stare at him a bit before speaking. "I'm glad you're here, Tristen. I'm happy we're friends." With that she turned around and began to walk out the door. "See you later!" She shouted as she walked out leaving Tristen to his own devices. She seemed to be taking it all pretty okay.
