True to the meaning of my surname, many of my ancestors were in the military forces. I have an ancestor who was a British Navy soldier. I have an ancestor that served in the Revolutionary War. I have an ancestor that served in the Civil War. And my grandpa had been both in the Army National Guard and U.S. Army.
Neat to learn about all that. :)

I'm in the mood to watch The Holiday - my favorite movie - right now. Maybe I can watch it later today or tomorrow after I finish my reading homework I have to do for 17th/18th C. Lit. class.

"You'll be interested to hear that I am engaged... To Milverton's housemaid." "Good heavens, Holmes!" "I wanted information, Watson." "Surely you have gone too far?" "It was a most necessary step." "...But the girl, Holmes?" "You can't help it, my dear Watson. You must play your cards as best you can when such a stake is on the table. However, I rejoice to say that I have a hated rival who will certainly cut me out the instant that my back is turned." - Holmes and Watson, "The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton"
I would totally love to see if BBC Sherlock did something with this aspect. It seems like one of those must-have aspects... at least in my opinion. Especially when John is trying to figure out who is Sherlock's type - despite Sherlock claiming that relationships aren't his area. And of course Sherlock's jealously of John dating Sarah and what not.
*chuckles* Ah... I'll just have fun with my own little imaginary episodes for now I guess.

I'll be around for another 20 minutes or so, before I have to head off to eat lunch and then head to class.
It's pretty watching it snow. I tried getting some shots of it snowing using the "Sports" mode on my camera. I'll have to see how those pictures turned out.

*finishes uploading and labeling the pictures* The "Sports" mode did a pretty good job capturing the snowflakes in mid-air... and you can actually see the snowflakes pretty good. Looks like I have a new mode I can use for the purpose of taking pictures of it snowing. biggrin

I'm reading Elizabeth Ashbridge's "Account of the Fore-Part of the Life of Elizabeth Ashbridge." It's actually quite interesting to read. Probably because she's having to explore what religion she feels most comfortable with and agrees with.
