What does Belphemon have to do with the third season?

The fact that Beelzemon is in it and seems linked to it's popularity in comparison to Belphemon.

Well, Daemon was in Season 2, so why is he not compared? And Lucemon was in Season 4...

Wikipedia is WRONG where it says Lucemon CM is the leader of the group though.

Where as Beelzemon has dibs on leading the nightmare soldiers, Belphemon is the greatest of the Demon Lords in all around power. Others have other advantages over him though. - Like, Leviamon and pure strength! Belphemon is the true Leader of the pack, and I was supprised people didn't go for him. So, in that others didn't know he was so cool, I thought I'd spread the word. I was going to allow someone else to carry this, though it seems now that I should.

Beelzemon was compared, as he is way more popular as it seems the rest of the crowd.
