Zyamel & brown Venandith Nabol Hold was next on their list, and Zyamel almost felt ill. This Hold was one she knew well, and if she had her way, she would turn Venandith's flames upon Lord Gansley and his minions. The anger and hate and disgust she felt caused Venandith's own eyes to whirl red with alarm, and he rumbled deep within his chest.
Let's put on a show for them, to remind them exactly who keeps them alive every Fall. The sooner they were at Nabol, the sooner they could leave, and they would all be better for it. The brown dragon wasn't at all afraid of anyone within the Hold, but they had things to do, dragons to show off for, and greens and golds and browns and blues and bronzes to admire.
So it was, the girl visualized the horrible place, and with another jump, they appeared.
Circling above the horrific place, Zyamel was about to give Venandith their next directions when something horrific ripped through their bond. Venandith immediately keened, loud, and long, and terrible. His eyes turned grey, his color faded, and he shuddered in pain.
"VEN!" Zyamel gasped, leaning forward, knowing without asking what happened. Through her brown, she understand that Venandith lost a brother. Eskaharth. "Oh K'ell... Oh Ven..." Zyamel knew exactly who had been lost and the grief was palpable. His brown brother, who had been ever so cunning and sharp; the brown who was going to take the world (quietly) be storm. His clutchmate, his brother, his friend.. and now?
Now he was gone. Gone too soon, and there was nothing he could do.
As she sat still, harsh reality hitting her hard, the girl felt Venandith give another shudder of pain as yet another weyrling was lost.
This time Cavera and Aviforth.
Venandith couldn't believe it. Aviforth had always been a favorite of his; always so complimentary and genuine. The fact that strutting in front of him seemed to go over well always suited Venandith just fine-- but now, he was gone. So very gone.
Zyamel wasn't the sort of girl to fall into tears. Instead, she steeled her emotions, and sent as much support and love to Venandith as she could. Some might have been shocked by his display, but what they didn't seem to know was how deeply the brown truly could feel. He loved his clutchmates, loved his cousins, loved with almost as much passion as he loved himself. He cared for his fellow weyrlings, each and every one, and wanted nothing to protect to them.
He was a great brown...Large enough to defend and protect them, strong enough to carry them when they grew weak, and always ready to remind them of the important things (like how good looking he was). That said, he could never touch Eskaharth or Aviforth again. No, there were new holes in his hearts this day... Tears he hadn't expected or desired.
After circling Nabol for some time, Zyamel pushed her thoughts towards Venandith. Come on, Ven. We've got to finish this up and carry on. You can check on everyone once you return
The brown dragon, still grey with grief, relented. Subdued, he took the next coordinates. - - -

T'rin and Blue Ingonth
They appeared over Radharc with such expert precision that T'rin almost expected applause. Ingonth was still quiet, but the young man assumed he was simply concentrating, at least until the dragon let out a broken cry that held a mix of shock and confusion.
He and Eskharath hadn't been close. The loss had hurt, but it wasn't anything he couldn't work through. But Aviforth... The other blue's sudden absence felt like he imagined something vital might if it was forcibly ripped from him. A lung, an eye, one of his hearts.
We have to go back.
T'rin leaned close, resting his head alongside one of Ingonth's spines. Please, tell me what's wrong. It's just a few more stops and then—
No! High Reaches, NOW! The dragon looked around desperately, taking note of the direction of the sun and winging deliberately toward the weyr. His intent was clear. If T'rin didn't take them there, Ingonth would fly home.
Here. Here! Stop that! As soon as T'rin shared the proper coordinates, they were gone.
- - -
They landed with an uncharacteristic fumble of lanky limbs, T'rin unfastening his straps and sliding to the ground as soon as it was safe. One silent moment later, he was clutching at Ingonth's neck and dragging him closer as his vision blurred with tears.

he doesn't have either of these scores, but they're taking the anxiety debuff anyway because yes If you have a Studiousness level of 4 or 5, or a Exhaustion/Alertness level of 4 or 5, all your hardwork.. fails. Maybe you memorized the wrong pages, or maybe you had too much detail and wind up lost in the wrong time. Either way, where you showed up is right, but the WHEN is all wrong! In fact, your dragon starts to panic when they realize that the time and place is... not right!
Too quickly, before you are able to see much of anything worth noting, your dragon begs to return to High Reaches Weyr. You visualize the coordinates, and pop successfully back to the right time and place--thoroughly shaken. Your Anxiety level automatically plummets to a 1 from here on out. Alternatively, you can fail your return and die on the way back to the right time. Your choice!
