Bio: Slow to understand words, but quick to understand body language, it has always been easier for Faridah to process sights rather than sounds. She views the world differently from most, but only she knows just how differently. Growing up, Faridah had a reputation for being a space cadet and not incredibly bright. It was consistently clear that she didn't have much to offer in terms of skills or unique qualities. If anything, she was a bit clumsy and sometimes even tactless. But she was impressively well-mannered, spoke only when spoken to (although she mumbled quite a bit), always took her responsibilities seriously, and never challenged authority. Since she was quite different from her siblings before her, Faridah was a bit sheltered. Her father was somewhat more protective of her than usual, and it was only until Faridah was well into adulthood that he finally began hearing out her potential suitors. The death of her father was a devastating blow to the lioness, as was the tragic overthrow of her pride. Faridah fled with some of her family during the takeover, returning only after much time had passed. When she saw there was nothing left, however, she wandered off on her own without a word to anyone...
Bio: Mostly average and somewhat awkward, Sanka tends to act tough but only succeeds 50% of the time. While her act may fail on occasion, her combat skills certainly don't. She was born in the Antianeira, but left her homeland in search of a new life. She still keeps many of the Amazon's teachings in her heart, especially those from her mothers.
Bio: Kovu'shavu is cocky, misogynistic, and a touch narcissistic. He always thinks he's right even when he's clearly proven wrong. This is mostly out of stubbornness and pride, but also hey, if he says he's right, you should just listen. He hates being told what to do and doesn't particularly enjoy the concept of teamwork, so he prefers to work, hunt, and be alone. He's passionate about his physique and pushes himself daily to be an adept hunter and fighter. While he can come to respect someone else in terms of might and prowess, it's a different story when the other person is female. There may come a day when a female proves herself to truly be his equal or better, but until that day comes, you'd be hard pressed to convince Kovu that males aren't superior.
Bio: OCPD. Assertive, perfectionist, self-driven, passionate about doing things right. She was disappointed to be placed under her second choice Pad in the beginning, but was later able to join the harem of her first choice--Tariq'ra'd. She left the pride shortly after his death and mourns him still.

Bio: Extremely quiet, meek, hesitant, and completely lacking in any confidence or self-esteem, Uthuli is a push-over, weak in both mind and body. She's quite small for a lioness and somehow seems aware of that fact at all times. She was deeply in love tall, dark, and handsome male for a while when she was an adolescent, and they lived together on the outskirts of the desert. Once Uthuli became pregnant, however, the male left her alone. She raised her daughter, Amalahle, the best she believed she could, but was terrified of her daughter leaving her, so she spoiled her. She gave into Ama's every whim and will, backing down and giving in whenever her daughter threw a tantrum. This acted against Uthuli in the end, however, because Ama grew up able to get what she wanted, when she wanted it, and quickly learned how to blackmail and manipulate. Uthuli failed at proving her love because all Ama learned was that her mother was weak and someone she did not want to become. Ama left Uthuli alone once again. Uthuli still lives alone in her little den near the desert without a friend in the world. She is utterly terrified of being left alone again, so she keeps to herself as much as she can, discreetly fleeing whenever she sees anyone nearby. She spends most of her day lying in her den, gazing outside with wet eyes and a sad heart. She used to be a polite, soft-spoken young lady, able to charm anyone with one dazzling smile, but no longer...
Bio: Seemingly emotionless and constantly tired-faced, Djeserit is a dark sort of lioness whose first-impression usually reads as "creepy". After conversing with her for a bit, however, she reveals herself to be a kind, mentally-sharp individual who genuinely cares about the well-being of others. She has devoted her life to the gods and the health of all creatures, and she specializes in medicine.
Bio: Quiet, stubborn, and artsy. She feigns a mild disinterest in those she loves most since overt affection makes her extremely embarrassed (although she is working on it). She works mostly in making jewelry, but is very interested in learning other facets of the artisan trade.
Bio: Inyoka was fascinated with snakes from a young age. She often brought them home and with saucer-like eyes would beg her parents to keep them. As she grew, she was referred to as a snake whisperer or snake charmer, and she became quite well-known for her ways with serpents of all types. She became more like a snake herself, eventually choosing serpentine company over leonine. Her circle of friends (all snakes) was quite large, and instead of being seen for the kind female she was, other creatures viewed her as something akin to a demon. Hurt by the rumors and urban legends that circulated about her over the years, Inyoka isolated herself even more. Bitter and lonely despite her slithering family and friends, the lioness decided to live up to everyone's expectations and become someone worthy of true fear. She went off to gather even more snakes who were interested in joining her nightmarish cause. The first snake she approached was a large spitting cobra who, to put it lightly, was not interested. And so, for the first and last time in her life, Inyoka was unable to charm a snake. (OR WAS SHE...........)
