Strong, but silent. He's fond of flirting, and doesn't mine passing away the time that way. However, when things start to become intimate or serious, he needs to move away. He knows what happens to those he's physically close to. Instead of a family, it's a grave. And he won't let that happen again.

He loves flowers, gardening and flying--despite his outward appearance of calm he's in turmoil inside, feeling that because he got Charlotte pregnant it is his fault that she died.

Personality:

Lucian has always struggled with the light and dark side of himself. He hears two voices, Than and Lux who torment him throughout moments of his life. With hard work, he believes he can overcome the voices and silence them forever.

An eater of flesh and drinker of blood, Lucian has never struggled with these decisions as Karloff has. He completely accepts who he is. At times, he can seem to be dark and brooding but typically it's only because he's lost in thought or fighting with Than and Lux.

Compassionate and kind, he doesn't have it in his heart to hurt anyone--at least not willingly.

Backstory:
Lucian was born to Relic and Jessamine. His mother, in hopes that he could live a normal life, left his basket with Karloff. Karloff had found a way to cope with the darkness within himself, and it was Jessamine's hope that he could help the basket become just as well adjusted as himself.

However, no one realized that the imaginary friends that he had were actually voices that spoke to him from the moment he was in his basket. Throughout childhood, they were only thought to be imaginary friends.

But as the cravings for blood and flesh became stronger, and the voices more pronounced, it was realized that he had inherited some of his mother's bloody tendencies. He learned to control them--Karloff's presence was usually enough. But over time, he learned to suppress them for the most part.
