It was measured and crafted to match my current form's height and strength! It was the gift I was to receive after attaining the title of Dragon Grand Master, but war and other circumstances made it so I was unable to acquire it." RC voiced, the anger hard in his voice. This just got very personal for

Lykas flinched when he was hit with the Shadow Ball to the gut, which, rather than causing him to loosen his grip as he normally would, he wound his tentacles tighter, grasping only air at this point. Varuna was already gone. Along with half an inch of one of his tentacles. Which he was quick to notice, grabbing it and looking at the end which had been severed by that Xatu hybrid's Teleport. "My hair! That son of a ~/~ killed my hair!!!" He cried out. They needed to find them in a hurry or calm Lykas down at this point. His hair was his pride and joy and the slightest damage might trigger a burst of rage most of Snagem hadn't witnessed in quite a long time, if ever.

Reno looked up from his crumpled position beside the shrine, watching as Dan emerged from the secret entrance he had been crawling towards. Grumbling as he realized that Horus had gotten away, the Psychic channeler would glare around the cavern while the others exploded at each other over what had just happened. While he was a little livid over the escape, he didn't see the need to join in the circlejerk of offended that appeared to be going on. Instead, with a pained expression crossing his face, Reno would hobble over to the water's edge before motioning Tesei over to give him a lift.

Holding onto the Cloyster as they crossed the water and Harleen sat on his head, he would soon reach where the Druddigon hybrid was stranded in the water. "You have three choices: Either you talk without provocation, I telepathically influence everything in the water to try and eat you, or I simply invade your mind and rip whatever information I need out without care for the damages. And I ain't feeling so great, so choose fast before I just pick for you." Reno growled, wincing as he raised his voice. Oh, that impact on the shrine was going to definitely bruise. Why couldn't any of this have just gone smoothly?

Vaux would snarl at Reno, the dragon hybrid still having a hard time moving, or even seeing clearly for that matter. "Go ahead, violate my mind like that bird did, you'll find nothing. I haven't a clue what they are up to, my part was just to get them into the shrine's vault. All I wanted was revenge for being shunned by the clan and it looks like I succeeded." He said with a toothy grin, and he was right when you stop and thought about it; shrine ransacked, Claire out cold, elder just now coming to, and one of their most precious artifacts stolen. Looks like sound revenge.

"Crystal is correct. I just completed a partial scan of the Mt. Coronet region and Varuna's chi signature was detected in the mountain range. For me to even be able to pick up his signature must mean he is up to something. Better get a move on, Avengers." GRAY spoke up from their SNAGs. "Sub has arrived at the mountain range so you should be able to teleport straight to him."

RC would take a deep breath. He flips open his SNAG and places a call.

"hello?"

"Glad you answered boy. you need to join us, now."

"Why?"

"Your Master is about to do something highly foolish. I just sent you the coordinates. be there."

RC hangs up before the other person can respond, calls out Sabrina, His Alakazam, and teleports to Sub's location.

Ryan would clench his fists. What was Master Varuna doing that had the Team, and especially the old dragon, in such a rare mood? Ryan would just have to find out. He calls out Cyano and teleports off to Sub.

Cera and Amaranth would manage to catch up to Reno and his Alakazam just in time to be ready for the teleport, though both of them had a sudden fear that Cloyster's proximity would end poorly for a bit. Still, they both kept their guard up, wanting to be ready the second they were teleported away.

The Snagems would appear next to or in the general area of Sub, the man standing in front of a cave entrance in the side of the mountain. They were a good ways up it appeared, and the path up here was very narrow so there wasn't much room for everyone on the outside. "Varuna is inside the mountain." Sub said point blank. "Not sure where but he is inside the mountain and, at least he wasn't, not too far from where we are. Not sure why he came all the way out here but I don't trust him. We'll head on down but be careful, the local Pokemon are very agitated. I think Varuna is doing a little rock work." Sub commented and as if on cue a mild rumble could be felt. "Let's go." He said, heading straight into the cave entrance.

Dan arrive on Mt. Coronet with Reno and the others where Sub was waiting for them. Varuna, the hybrid who assaulted him and the others just moments ago, fled here for whatever reason. Apparently, some of the others knew the guy as a mentor, like Lykas. And then there was the thing the elder told him, something about a pillar and vault that bugged him. Whatever it was, he didn't make it out to sound too good for Varuna to be messing with. Dan peered up at the summit, or at least tried to, before heading in behind the group.

The dragon on his back was eagerly looking around, apparently on the look out for danger. Reno seemingly found it quickly after carelessly tripping over a Graveler. The Pokemon he used was unfamiliar to him and it was hard to discern what type it even was. Dan watched as the rock type was eventually bowled deeper into the caverns, out of sight. However, not long after that very loud echo of defeat, stomping could be heard coming toward him. From out of the shadows came a very pissed off Machoke with a lump on his head. In its hand it held the fainted Graveler which he dropped in front of him. "Wha? Hey, no! That wasn't me! That was- Oh." But Reno was already gone and the burly Pokemon didn't seem too inclined to hear excuses.

Dan leaped back as it took a swing at him, quickly tossing out his Shelgon. The cocoon immediately laid down with legs sprawled out, unaware of the situation. "No, I need you to battle, not- Protect!" he quickly called out, seeing the Machoke coming with another Karate Chop. Luckily, the dragon responded in time, nullifying the damage from the strike. Machoke back up from the rebound, but it looked far from ready to concede defeat. It rushed Shelgon now with open arms in preparation for it's next attack. "Stop it with Ember!" The shell finally got up and spit tiny fire like bullets in the face of his enemy. It was not very effective, evident when it kept coming and lifted the dragon off the ground. Dan watched as his Pokemon was thrown into a wall, flinching upon impact. "Shelgon, you okay?" However, he didn't get a response as the Machoke was now staring him down. Dan took a step back, his Axew peering over his shoulder while letting out a low growl. That was when the mass of muscles was bowled over by a Zen Headbutt, thanks to the cocoon. "Thanks for that" he sighed in relief. Again, Machoke surprised them both when it suddenly delivered a sweeping kick, taking Shelgon's legs out from under him. The fighting type jumped back again, now pumping itself up like it was getting ready for a big move. Dan's Pokemon was struggling to stand up after that one but was still determined to keep going! Machoke crossed its arms as it came running in with an attack to finish the dragon. "We have to stop it! Ember has to work!" he commanded, confident in the pod's abilities. He fired the flames into the face of his enemy once more, but this time, the tiny fire had become a large stream of fire. Feeling the intense heat of Flamethrower in its face, Machoke stopped to shield his face in pain. "It's wide open! Dragon Claw!" Shelgon ran forward as fast as his stubs would take him, delivering the final blow with a glowing claw.

The muscles hit the ground with a thud, swirling eyes to indicate it had fainted. "Nice job, Shelgon, you even learned Flamethrower! You deserve a rest" he grinned and recalled his Pokemon. Getting back on track, Dan hurried forward to find Varuna and avoid anymore unwanted altercations.
