Another question Simon only had recently when he caught Snover was how did weather effects occur anywhere they were. Like right now he was facing off against a Rufflet, the dark flying type was weak typing against ice so Abomasnow was the perfect choice and of course when he came out, it started to hail.

Maybe Abomasnow produced some sort of pheromone or something that created the ice clouds. Then after a battle he just stopped producing it and the hail stopped. Swooping out of the air was a flying Pokemon he hadn't seen in here before so Abomasnow was still up against, "Swoobat the courting Pokemon. It shakes its tail vigorously when it emits ultrasonic waves strong enough to reduce concrete to rubble."

The plan was now to get Druddigon to level seventy as well to follow in the footsteps of Florges and Noivern. This way Simon could be ready for that final gym. The next Pokemon to appear was a beast against his team, Durant. Being Bug and Steel meant almost his entire team was ineffective against it. Greninja was his best bet since water meant normal damage but at the same time he still had the held item. So first out was Druddigon then he was returned for Simon's starter.

The Pokedex entry was right for once as a second Durant appeared. It was a known fact that Durant often attacked in groups which might mean there was a Heatmor near by. Until he found the fire Pokemon he sent out Druddigon then switched him out for Greninja again.

Just as he predicted the hungry Heatmor came rambling out looking from one way to the next looking for more Durant. Then its eyes fell upon Simon and the Pokemon attacked. Once again Greninja would be the best bet so Simon decided to once again send out Druddigon before trading him out for Greninja.

Giving him a chance to let his team relax a bit instead of so much intense training. Ajicka tugged at her coat sleeves. It was a weird switch back from the suit, which had been weirdly comfortable, she realized, once she was out of it. If she were the sort to tolerate the concept of fashion, she might actually consider looking into what it was made out of or something, but she was far, far too disinterested in that, and did not have the time or patience to actually research it. Instead, her mind was burrowing in on the battle coming up ahead. She was going to have to... calculate what she would need, between battles, and prepare to stock up on better healing potions, but for now, she would just try and avoid letting anyone faint. The group could be seen up ahead, and Ajicka took a quick moment to make sure her message to Jas had sent, and re-organize her team. "You must be Ajicka," a dark-haired man greeted with a lopsided, intelligent grin. She met his gaze, came to a stop, and crossed her arms over her chest. "Yeah," she confirmed, then paused, ".... I'm surprised you all had time for this.""We welcome a challenge," another man remarked, stepping forward, pounding one hand into his fist with a bold look in his eye. Grimsley and... Marshal, respectively. "But let's not draw this out. Now then, are you ready?" a blond woman snapped impatiently. Jas concluded the battle with about the same effect Ajicka had hoped; after smashing his opponent with a powerful Rock Slide, he knocked it out, not even taking a hit, and bellowing a happy roar of victory. It was funny.... if she didn't know him, it would seem like he was boasting, or being a bit over competitive. She knew he was just relishing in the victory; even with how powerful he was, it was obvious he was still excited to win, and 'do good'. He turned back to her for approval, and she smirked, her dragon taking off before swooping back to land behind her, his tail curling around as he peered curiously at their opponents.

Ajicka exhaled as she recalled her final pokemon. That had been.... a bit more challenging. Rosa had gotten dangerously close to fainting there, and mostly because of her burn. Which was good to know-- she'd have to stock up on some full restores and heals. "Ha! That was a good battle!" Marshal remarked, recalling his pokemon as well. "Most trainers must take a moment to repose and recollect, to heal their pokemon and strategize," Shauntal remarked, "You look to be in need of that." Ajicka made a bit of a face, but sighed. "Yeah just, give me a second. I think these lucky eggs have timed out," she remarked, frowning, "And I should heal up my pokemon..." That was going to use a looooot of potions, though...

Ajicka recalled her pokemon with some degree of satisfaction, though the hard look of concentration didn't really lift. "So," bellowed the voice of Alder as he swaggered forward, pokeball in hand, "Care to truly test yourself?" Ajicka raised a gaze to him, before smirking wryly. "Maybe next time, when I come to battle you all for real," she remarked, before shifting her gaze to Grimsley, "'With items'. To test another team. For now though, I think I'm ready to go and try this for real, officially," she decided. Much as she would have liked to go for the real challenge, to throw herself against the champion himself, she just didn't have the items to get back on par with him.
She bid the group farewell, and turned to climb onto Jas. She would skip the gym for now-- she was too eager to get started on her final challenge.
