Watching Maiku as the boy spoke of someone needing help, along with releasing his little white bird, Ace felt his heart nearly skip a beat. What a dazzlingly beautiful Taiilow. He watched the bird flutter ahead, as if on a quest. "So beautiful...." Ace muttered for a moment, before looking back to Maiku. "Tell me, do you have any other white Pokemon?" Ace's smile almost appeared genuine. "I adore the colour white, so white Pokemon are above my favorite." Taking in a sigh, he motioned forward as if showing Maiku something right in front of him. "I-- rather my father got me this gorgeous pure white Pidgeot, as white as snow." Looking towards the path ahead, it appeared Ace had completely forgotten about what Maiku had just said, about feeling like someone needed help. When it came to the colour white, it seemed Ace's mind wondered to fond memories. How he wished to have his beautiful team of pure white Pokemon at his side once more. Soon, perhaps he'd be allowed to have his companions at his side.

Turning to face Maiku, the male halted in his place and took a moment to collect himself. "Ahem, a Litwick you say? Well, that is interesting." Litwick are ghost-type Pokemon, candle-shaped and very much on the wanted list for Ace, however the male turned his thoughts towards the Sylveon he'd noticed before standing nearby, while he hadn't really shown this acknowledgement, the male offered a smile down to the fairy-type. "Yes, she's a very beautiful Sylveon as well." It seemed Maiku had a fine selection of Pokemon to battle with, and a fine selection that Ace wanted, however, as he is no petty thief the male mentally sighed before turned to walk the path once more. "You're a lucky man. White Pokemon are amongst the most graceful in my opinion. Whether it's their sleek white bodies that make them seem as though they're moving with more grace or something else, no matter the Pokemon, a white Pokemon is almost always the top of it's species."
Was he getting a bit to carried away? About the only people who knew of this pure obsession with white Pokemon were Team Royale, Perhaps he was just coming off as over zealous about the colour of a Pokemon, but perhaps a tone down would do better for him to continue walking with this trainer. How to recover though was a very good question.

Fire and psychic were very interesting type to favor. Ace found himself thinking fondly of his favorite types, eager to reply only to be silenced before he'd even opened his mouth. He opened what appeared to look like an average looking Holo-caster, what appeared was a woman. A dotting parent to be sure, and even he was curious when another voice called out that something was melting...., wouldn't they already know if something needed to be frozen or the like? It was curious, but nothing Ace was going to linger upon. Instead he glanced ahead, watching the leaves on the tree's rustle with the wind. It was a fairly nice day, despite recent events.
When the call ended, Ace looked back, spotting Maiku looking at him, his face as red as a Charizard. "Mothers...." He replied with a chuckle, as if relating to the boy. Though any memories of his mother were less then pleasant, any thoughts even worse. With a feinted smiled, the man motioned towards the device. "Well, it sure sounds exciting though. Anyway, back on our previous topic, I'd have to say Ice and Water-types are my favorites. Though any Pokemon with beauty or grace, or both, is welcomed onto my team." Save for Poison or Ground-types, aside from Derosa, who is more grass than poison. With an added nod, Ace started to head forward once more. "Fire and Psychic is a unique combo, I've heard legends of only one other in the world." Victini the Victory Pokemon, while not to well versed in Unovian lore as Amaranthian, he'd seen some pictures of the sprite legend every so often in the airship's library. Come to think of it, hadn't he seen a picture of the odd purple lizard-like creature he'd just caught in the library as well? Perhaps a call to base once they reached the city would do well for Ace's thirst for knowledge on the odd darkness eater.

Happy to hear the boy agree, Ace added in a nod here and there. Though he noticed Maiku seemed.... nervous? Listening to the boy some more, Ace pondered about the legend Darkrai, whether he'd seen on or not in the books within the library. he wasn't much a book reader, so perhaps he'd missed it, but nothing came to mind. The most he knew off -hand is it was known to give nightmares while Cresselia, is it's counter and able to give sweet dreams. Even still, a chuckle escaped ace's mouth when Maiku so bold stated he'd love to scare his next door neighbor. "You're liable to give him a heart attack." Ace stated.
'You want to test you elegance on me, fairy?' Derosa suddenly spoke up. Sitting on Ace's shoulder, the rose-handed Pokemon held one of her roses up to her mouth. 'De, don't start anything...' Amarantha pipped in, hugging her flower. 'Come on, Amarantha, don't be a sourpuss, I didn't mean a battle.' The Rosela rolled her eyes as she began to turn around. 'Never mind, than.' She added, opting to now lean against Ace's neck. Amarantha offered an apologetic look down upon the Syvleon before she turned back to face the path ahead.

Laughing at the boy's enthusiasm to scare his next door neighbor, Ace felt the vibration of his Holocaster, set in his bag. Pulling it out he checked to see who it was, his method of answering depending on this factor. What he saw was the word 'Joker' What was it he wanted, or was he a she today, Ace was conflicted with Joker's gender identity. Whatever the case he'd have to answer so that Maiku couldn't hear the conversation. Lucky he did. Clicking the 'speaker off' button he then accepted the call, bringing the caster to his ear like a phone. An image of an apparent female appeared. As if talking to an old friend, the man replied to his apparent friend's problem. "What an interesting name this little stalker has. It's best to deal with these things before they get out of hand. I'm sure you can manage, just be sure to alert the proper authorities, less she starts stalking you again." With an airy laugh he, turned away from Maiku, stepping away as if to talk with his friend in private. What he was really doing was issuing an order to Joker, making it perfectly clear that Team Royale was not to be found out yet. " Unless she knows to much. Stalkers are rats, and rats are vermin. Deal with her as we would any vermin; exterminate. " He continued in a hushed tone, doing his best to speak clearly, as he could tell the connection was spotty, either on his end or Jokers, perhaps both really. Turning back towards Maiku, Ace showed a larger smile, adding in one last bit. " Now, make sure you take care of yourself, Y. We should certainly stay in touch from now on." Hanging up, the male made to put the caster away, but he hesitated, typing up a quick message, more or less looking as though he was checking something on the caster.
'When next you call me, do not use sur names. You never know who is listening. Refer to me as Adolph or A only, as I will do the same with you, Joker. You may be new, but I hope you're not dumb, if you are and you end up getting caught or killed, you best hope nothing about Team Royale shows up on your person. Do not put the Royale name to shame.'
With that he returned the caster to his back, and walked back to Maiku's side. "Sorry about that. Seems an old friend has gotten into some trouble." With a mischievous grin, ace cupped his chin with one of his hands. "She's always been one to attract other women, never had a chance with that one sadly." He didn't much care for red-heads either, minus the fact that Joker was 1oo% male, and Ace did not swing that way.

Still, Derosa's challenge made Suzu's fur stand on end. She didn't seem to care for battles that much. Maiku looked over when Adolph moved away to talk to his caller in private, so he ignored it. Offering a grin, Ace nodded. "Yes, I hope so too." Turning towards the path ahead, Ace continued forward, turning a bit to motion back towards Maiku. "Let's make haste. No more distractions." He chuckled, playing with a friendly tone. The more he thought about Joker being followed, the more and more he felt angry. Not one to loose his temper over such things, he wished dreadfully that he had the ability to spy on the Numbers and Joker, it would make thing so much more easier. However, he had to give Joker the benefit of the doubt. He was new, but very well accepted amongst the numbers and his and her majesties. The boy's ability to hack was useful, and above what most of the Numbers could manage. Ace himself wasn't to... familiar with computers either, the most he knew how to do was run a Pokemon Center or turn things off or on. Though once he learned how to operate a machine, it didn't take much tries before he got the hang of it, even still... the numbers were there to do most of the work.

Yuki was still out looking for what was bothering Maiku, so he didn't want to leave her behind.This is going to end badly. Breaking away from this thoughts, Ace realized he'd become rather distant. He really didn't want to hold a conversation, but it seemed fairly awkward to be walking without talking to the person he was supposedly being lead by. Looking back, he noticed Maiku looking up, then returning something. Oh, that's right, he had his beautiful white Taillow flying around. So it'd finally returned, but the look on Maiku's face suggested he wasn't happy it had returned. "Something wrong?" Ace asked, honestly curious as to the boy's expression. There was certainly something on his mind, no hiding that.

None to pleased to hear this, Ace was a bit interested. So his flying companion seemed distressed? Perhaps so. Resting a hand on a hip, he took in a deep breath. "Strange. I hope it's nothing too concerning." He spoke, raising a hand to his chin in thought. What could it be that his little Taillow couldn't handle on it's own? Well, it could be a many great deal of things, but the idea of trekking through the woods and straying from the beaten path was not something Ace was willing to do. So, with that in mind he nodded to himself. "Alright, I'll wait here. Shout if you need anything." Flashing a smile, Ace turned away some, pretending as though he wasn't going to watch which way Maiku left. One thing did come to mind. Perhaps Maiku was a bit more clever than he was shy. Ace was doing his best to seem as natural as possible, but he might have been coming on a bit to strong, which could draw suspicion to him not being as.... kind as he was pretending to be. He'd wait for Maiku to return, or even invite him to investigate as well, whatever the case he wasn't going to pretend to wait long.
