Reiko glances at the weapons though she didn't have much of an eye for that sort of thing, relying mostly on her magic and tricks as opposed to the strength of a weapon. "Have to be strong to be a blacksmith and to wield weapons like that.", she says after a moment, "Do you do any of those things that makes them holy weapons?"

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys "If the customer asks for it. I have started to get rather good at forging magical properties into the arms and armor" he told her with a smile as he tapped his own weapons. They had been his first forging of holy style and tho not perfected as others had been he liked them enough to keep them.

"I see...", Reiko murmurs as she looks closer at the weapons. They did indeed have holy magic, though they didn't seem to be strong enough to be a threat to her jewel. "Any luck getting work lately?"

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys "Not so much lately" he said with a bit of a sigh, reaching back he rubbed his head as he looked at her. "Not as many people want armor or blades lately" he said crossing his arms as he shook his head along with it.

"If I used physical weapons, I would probably offer you work.", Reiko says as she examines her empty mug. She's silent for a few moments before asking, "Have you heard any odd rumors?"

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys "Rumors Lass? Rumors are nothing more then old wives tails told by drunken old farts in the back of a bar. Very little of a time what is said is truth and more often then not it's nothing more then an overzealous lie" he scoffed at her words a bit as he finished off the last of his ale and slapped the bar to get another two out. "Don't believe rumors believe facts and cold hard truth" he warned her tossing the mug on the bar.

She seems amused by his response, sipping her new drink instead of downing it like the first. "You'd be surprised by some of the rumors that prove to be true."

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys "I think I would be more surprised if I could find a bar that sold more real ale not this piss they call ale" Uriel fumed a bit a he gripped his new mug and sipped on it some. He had spent to long around the dwarves and had gained there drinking habits.

"You sound like a dwarf.", she says with a laugh, "The big cities usually have better alcohol than places like this." She sips contentedly at her drink, though she would have preferred something better as well.

Eventually, Kasumi made her way over to the man who'd been watching her and Briar, melding easily into the bustle of the place to listen for a few minutes to their conversation. At talk of rumors, she smiled and formed an extensive plan before she stepped forward. "Pardon the interruption, but I couldn't help but overhear. Alexandra Gato, a healer in service to one of the goddess's temples." She made a vaguely religious gesture; she actually knew very little about temples and goddesses, preferring the goddess of her own body. "And, as for the ale, sir, lower your standards or bring your own." Her eyes flickered over Reiko with a warm smile. "Although it appears I do not have to lower my standards or bring my own." These two looked interesting, and she'd already reached an agreement with the uninterested Briar.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys Barely giving a look to Kasumi Uriel finished the rest of his next mug as he set it down. "Aye the big cities have the best customers as well but traveling between them business is low and the ale is poor" he said simply shaking a hand infront of his face.

Looking at Kasumi, Reiko's eyes go cold and calculating for a brief moment before assuming a calm, impassive mask. "A healer, eh? For which goddess?", she asks, though her tone made it clear that she didn't much like the other female butting in.

"That actually depends on who'll hire me." She shrugged. "I've worked for a few temples." Which she had, in various capacities. Almost never as anything beneficial. "I've gotten kicked out of most of them for various reasons." She tilted her head. "So I'm to assume you're resistant to my charms and I'm to leave?" Kasumi's tone was amused, but equally cold. "And here poor old me just wanted a few words." With that, she flounced off to the other end of the bar, immediately beginning to seduce some random woman out of her money.

{Honestly, I've got total block and I don't know how to reply right now. Sorry for not giving any word sooner. Also sorry for this incredibly short post.}
Briar simply watched the scene from afar at first, not quite sure what sort of input she should give at the time. Feeling a bit awkard, she decided to address the barkeep and quietly as about whether or not there was any work to be had for an adventurous sort. Any work that didn't involve pig or troll dung, prefferably. Briar might have been financially down on her luck and she might technecally be an adventurer, but she was by no means desperate for coin.
