Cain felt an amazing rush when she agreed to moving into his rooms with him and grinned like an idiot over it as she continued. Then she said that she loved him.

He took in a deep breath and his heart raced like it was about to explode out of his chest. He raised a shaking hand to her face again and cupped it gently as his thumb traced her lower lip slowly, "You're the first I've ever loved too, Rose..." he admitted to her in a soft whisper that sounded like it came through a throat tight with emotions.

Then he moved in and kissed her like she was air and he was desperate to breathe again, his arms moving around her to pull her into him again. He couldn't get enough of her. Her kisses, her body, her words, her questions. He briefly considered adding his bite to the mix, knowing full well what the result would be, but he held that part of himself in check, not wanting to hurt her.

So he filled his senses with the rest of her, his mouth at hers as his hands moved over her soft skin and curves...

Rose was going to let herself be swept up by his kisses, honestly. There was nothing better, in her opinion, than being with him completely. But her stomach decided to growl. Well, growl is underestimating it. It was closer to mimicking the sound of a dying whale.

Rose imparted one last kiss, then separated herself from him, and started to exit the bed. "I'm really sorry, but I don't think I've had anything since breakfast, and... I'm just hungry. " Almost as if cued, her stomach repeated the sound, if a bit higher pitched this time. For sure at least several hours had passed since her last meal, it could've even been as long as almost an entire day. Rose had a feeling that the second one was most likely true. how has she not noticed her hunger before. Rose shot an appraising glance at Cain. Yeah that could have distracted her adequately.

Cain couldn't help it. He just couldn't help it. From that first sound to the second one he started laughing. He did get distracted by the sight of her standing by the bed in all her glory and had to give her an appreciative look for it. But the sounds her stomach was making were just too much for him to keep from laughing.

But he got up anyway and placed a light kiss on the side of her neck as he passed her to open his closet to pick something to wear, this time just a pair of jeans much like he'd worn when he met her, "I can either have something sent up for you or escort you to your room to change and get the servants started on moving you in here then take you to the kitchen," he said with a smile as he came out with another of his old fashioned shirts that he casually dropped over her head.

Whatever she might have said was interrupted by a brief knock and someone simply walking into the sitting room, "Hey Cain! How you doin' man? I came to see how you're doing after that feed," Dev called out as he walked through the main room and into the bedroom without a care. But he froze in the doorway of the bedroom at the sight of Cain frantically trying to get the shirt over Rose to cover her up.

Then a grin spread over his face that wouldn't quit as he turned his own harlequin eyes over Rose, one red and one violet, "Oh man... Dancer is never going to believe this one..." he said with a teasing tone.

Cain just dropped his head to Rose's shoulder with his hands on her now-covered hips and gave a groan for the teasing he was in for now...

Rose had been lucyk that she had begun to wriggle into the shirt as soon as it had been handed to her. She about about to respond... but then someone strolled into the main room, and she had found herself suddenly being clothed by a slightly harried Cain. Judging by this person's teasing tone, and the fact that Cain seemed to be expecting more from this person and whoever Dancer was... They must have been friends. Close ones too.

Rose piped up from behind Cain "Hi! I'm Rose!" Then gave a short wave,"I would normally say I'm pleased to meet your acquaintance, but you sort of walked in at an akward time. So if you could please turn around and give us a moment, I'm sure we'll be right out." To emphasize this, she made a small circle with her right index finger. If it worked, whoever this was would have felt something akin to a invisible hand lightly pushing his shoulder trying to turn him away. If not then it was just her talking with her hands a bit.

Cain gave a soft laugh at her reaction to the whole thing, his face still on her shoulder, "Rose, meet Dev. Short for Devil. Dev, this is Rose. She's moving in with me. If you get too rude with her, I'll have to show you what real pain is," he said very calmly.

As much as Dev loved pain and danger, there were some lones even he wouldn't cross. So he just gave Rose a wink and willingly turned around, "I came to check on you, see how you were doing after that feed. I've had a few vamps go wonky after taking my vein," he explained then grinned, "But I guess you're doing just fine," he couldn't resist that tease.

Rose rubbed Cain's shoulder. ""Don't worry Cain, if he gets to rude I'll let him know myself." Just because she didn't normally use nasty spells that left a majority of it's victims dead or crying didn't mean that she couldn't. Turning her mind back to the fact that she was just about half naked, she asked Cain"So do you have anything I could borrow in lieu of pants?" Speaking of pants, hers had been misplaced sometime last night . She wondered where they were. Well she'd find them eventually. Rose felt uncomfortable at the idea of walking around in just Cain's shirt, it was just too short.

Dev was probably quite the character, if she recalled correctly, he was trying to woo a vampire. That meant it was likely the other person who had been with him was Blade. Hmm.

Cain moved into his closet again and dug up a pair of sweatpants that had a drawstring and helped her into those, "Please Rose, don't tempt him. He likes to play with those who are dangerous on a regular basis. He only fed me as a favor to Dancer. I'm not his type," he explained to her as Dev's shoulders shook with laughter over the whole situation.

Once she was dressed, Cain moved to stand behind her with his hands on her shoulders, "You need to go get changed and arrange for your stuff to be moved over here. While you're gone, I'll arrange for food to be brought up here for you and get rid of this idiot," he suggested, hoping to keep her as far away from Dev as possible for now.

Dev was chuckling when he turned back around and propped a shoulder against the door frame and crossed his arms over his chest, his eyes positively dancing with his humor, "No need to worry Cain... The vampire I'm after right now is much more dangerous than your little blood mage is... The lovely Snow actually wants to beat the crap out of me.. And when she feeds?" he actually shuddered in pleasure from his dark hair with its strangely colored streaks all the way down his gothic/punk style to his black Doc Martins with the skulls along the sides, "Man... When she feeds it's absolutely fantastic..." he was actually purring by now, a low rumble that hinted at his animal form.

Snow was about to go back to the room at this point. Maid where running from her and that as no help; but to her luck she picked up on Dev's scent. As much as she did not want to deal with him again she need clothes and he would probably be the only one not scared of her. Following the scent ot the room she blinked picking other scents up. she smelt the clumsy male and a female. she did not care for them as she entered and saw Dev. Like normal she made no sound as she walked up behind him and knock him down on to his face. "Were I need your help" she said standing on his back, "I need something new to wear and the maids are scared I will drink them dry." she looked up at cain and Rose and just did not show anything on her ice cold face before looking back at dev.

((Okay, I'll interrupt this long enough to post this part of things. K?))

Dev gave a grunt when he hit the floor but grinned when he felt a familiar foot on his back. He actually looked up at Cain and Rose with that grin and winked at them quite clearly, "See? I told you so... Catch you later on..." he purred then pushed himself up despite the strength of the vampire on his back. Once up, he moved fast and put an arm around Snow's hip and moved her into the sitting room where he let her go while still holding that grin of his.

He looked her over nice and slow, "Personally, I don't think you need clothes of any kind at all," he purred to her, "But clothes you want, clothes you'll get..." he told her as he moved right back up to her and hovered right over her mouth, deliberately taunting her with the busted lip she'd given him when he hit the floor as he licked it slowly, "But are you sure that clothes are all you want from me?" he asked her as his red and violet eyes met her cold stare.

Snow growled and dug her nails in him when he touched her but she let him move her out of the room and to the sitting area. She let her nails tap on her side as she watched him and listened. He was going to make her feel things again with the way he said things and...that damn scent of his and the blood. She grabbed his neck and pulled him down were she bite his lips tasting his blood before she licked to clean them. "No I want to feed from you, beat you up and make you bleed and ....I don't know what else you make me feel so confsied you damn were" she said with a growl, "part of me would kill you the other...goes to place I have never been to before."

Cain wasn't kidding when he said Dev liked to play with those who are dangerous, the vampire who suddenly knocked him down and stood on him looked just that. Dev seemed to be a bit masochistic , and likely he was another "flirting with death" type. Rose wondered if he had gotten knocked in the head sometime in the past, and that this was the result.

Well despite appearances, Snow seemed in control, if a bit angry with Dev, so it was probably safe enough for her to quickly arrange for her stuff to be brought here and change into her own clothes. Rose turned her neck to look at Cain "Well while they're busy, I'm going to go and do what I need to, Ill see you in a few minutes. " Rose turned around and lightly kissed his mouth, then began to make her way to the door.

Cain followed her out of the room, past the insane couple, and into the hallway where he pulled her around for a better kiss, "I told you he was an idiot," he said softly then gave her another kiss, "I'll go see about that meal for you," he added then finally let her go and headed off in the direction of the kitchen, knowing that if he looked at her again, he was going to wind up carrying her off to the bed again...

By the time Snow finally finished talking, Dev was panting softly and ready to explode. Her nails into his arms, her bite, her tongue licking his lips... But she'd had something to say and he intended to let her have her say. When she was finished, he gave one of those purring chuckles of his against her lips as he grinned at her while keeping his eyes on hers.

"Lovely little Snow... So cold and dangerous...," he purred to her softly, raising one hand to trace his fingertips along her cheek so gently, "You've forgotten how to feel. It's what makes you so cold and dangerous. You can do all you want to me but for the killing... The only problem is you're going to find that maybe you want so much more than you were ever expecting... But it's about time that you expect more from yourself and your life, want more for yourself. You recede into your coldness to keep others away... What would happen if you allowed your heart to thaw just a bit? Just enough to allow someone in? Maybe it's about time you take the risk..." he purred softly to her, teasing her for just another moment...

Then he stepped abruptly away from her and headed out into the hallway, "Come on, let's see if I can find someone brave enough to stay around you long enough to see to your needs," he said in a completely different tone of voice, deliberately flipping a switch on her to keep her off guard.

((Exit to the hallway, I guess))

Cain came back to his rooms, grateful to find that Dev and his vampire were gone, and oversaw the servants setting up another meal table. He'd wanted this one to be perfect and had actually suggested foods she might like that were also healthy for her. Then he'd considered again and had suggested a dessert that he hoped she would like.

He moved the rose she'd given him to the mantle, still in its vase, so that he'd see it every time he walked through the room. Then he moved into his bedroom and made an attempt to make the bed until one of the servants setting up the table caught him and chased him away from it and telling him to get himself dressed.

He gave in and disappeared into his closet to put on a shirt, not paying any attention to what he grabbed until the woman glared at him and pointed to the closet again. Apparently the frowny face wasn't going to work. So he went back into the closet and emerged in another one of his loose shirts with lacing at the collar, tucking it into his jeans and gaining a nod from the maid before she went into the spare room to set it to rights.

He went into the bathroom and brushed his hair out, pulled it back into a ponytail and moved into the main room just as more servants invaded his space to put Rose's stuff in the spare room until she could unpack it.

It took a bit longer to get to Cain's rooms than it should have, she took a few wrong turns and had to ask a servant. The person had given them a funny look, almost as if they didn't know who he was, then once Rose explained that he was the librarian, they had been flabberghasted stating "He's still here?!" But at least they were able to direct her in the right direction.

Rose finally arrived at the hallway leading straight to her destination, and when she found the door, she emitted a sigh of relief. Her stomach emitted the sound of a depressed elephant. Rose opened the door, and poked her head in to see if Dev and Snow were still there. They must have left and gotten those clothes that Snow was demanding. The second thing she noticed was a wonderful smell of food. Hunger makes the best spice.

Cain stepped out of his bedroom and smiled at the sight of her, "Ah! You're back! Good, the food won't get cold," he said to her and held her chair out for her then put the warmed plate in front of her and lifted the lid to reveal what he'd hoped she would like.

There was a simple six ounce steak, cooked medium since he wasn't sure how she preferred it and the more rare it was the higher the health value, steamed vegetables with a nice garlic butter melted over them, and a baked sweet potato with butter and cinnamon on it.

" I hope you like it... There's dessert as well..." he said, now sounding a bit nervous as he poured her a non-alcoholic red wine and sat across from her.
