The faux Colbertron proves to be a less formidable opponent than he declared, as the resounding horn causes him to waver, and dissolve back into his amateur sculpture form. The carbuncle cowers at the sound, all of you hear it cry in your heads, "Aaah! Don't hurt me!" just before van and Colbertron's minds are struck with psychic energy that doesn't do much other than make them feel a bit guilty for no apparent reason. Then the carbuncle collapses, and the gem on its head crumbles to dust.

The nearest squirrel to Fawkes fires upon the goliath, expecting its five companions to be capable of downing the warlord with their combined might. Then it bounds over the branches in an attempt to put a tree trunk between itself and the goliath, "You'll never get the nuts back!" it squeaks as it moves. Unfortunately it was in such a hurry to get away from its target, it didn't even scratch the fighter.

Fawks looks down at the adorable little golden armadillo "Fawks promises not to hurt you little buddy." with that Fawks moves to assist the half-elf Warlord.

The two squirrels nearest Fawks and Sylvanis chitter between themselves, apparently having some sort of argument. It is ended with one smacking the other on the back of the head and firing its tiny bow at the wounded half-elf, apparently not as afraid of the goliath as its ally. The arrow finds another c***k in the warlord's apparently nonexistent armor.

The armadillo Fawks was having a conversation with follows behind the goliath happily, "That's good. Because this ruby in my head's worth about a hundred gold, and I thought you might want to try taking it, but you seem nice." One of the more distant armadillo-things also approaches the pair in the middle of the grove, chiming in both of their heads with a witless "Hi!"

Being pelted with these small arrows did more damage than Sylvanis thought. He could feel the blood dripping down his body now. Now those white pillars turned into shapes of different things now, attacking us with odd stretches and reaches. With everything going on, the armadillos' didn't seem to do anything but sit around. With talking squirrels and light attacking us, why not take a chance with the unreal.

Turning his head to closest golden one, "Hey, I don't know if you can talk or not, but if you and your friends could help us out anyway you can I would take it as a kindness." Holding his shield up in case any more arrows come pelting at him, he turned to the squirrels quickly, "And YOU UP THERE, we have no DAMN NUTS so unless you want a fight, stop it!"

"C'mon Sylvanis, if you can't talk your way out of this one you got to keep going for the rest of them."

Readying himself and encouraged to keep going, he moves himself closer to Fawks and the rest of the group, finding these squirrels more troublesome then he thought and not going to just charge them anymore. "Keep grouped up, lets take them out one at a time with this white blob here." pointing to the white thing in the west.
