Letting her take what she needed he knew she would soon be in unbearable pain and frenzy. She would for quite some time. He would keep her locked up in this room during that time, alone. But when he let her out she would be eternal and his childe...a vampire. She would spend every night after learning and reading gathering information.
When he felt she had taken enough he pulled his wrist from her. "That is enough, you will be left here while you turn." He said deciding to tell her that. "It will hurt also, so be warned." It was only proper he told her everything now so she knew and would not turn on him for not telling her now.

For a moment, the world came spinning into focus and everything seemed sharp and crystal clear, almost too perfect. She could still taste the blood in her mouth as the elder vampire left her with his parting words. As he closed the door behind him, her picture perfect version shattered and she was thrown into pain like she'd never known.
Her body collapsed on the bed and writhed out of all control as the change overtook her. He'd said it would hurt, but she'd never known pain like this. Making an attempt to drag herself from the pain, to find a way out, Kamilah let out a scream she couldn't control. There was no escape. She succumbed to it, and clung to the hope that it would end. It was her anchor to some hope of sanity.
The Nymphae went on like that, losing track of all time and all existance beyond her own pain, and occassionally wondered if there was, in fact, any end to it. But, it would come. She held that faith through the burning pain.

As old as he was the pain he had faced when he had first been turned had faded in his mind. He simply knew it was painful, the most pain he'd ever felt. But he didn't precisely remember just how painful that had been.
Hearing her screams as he made his way down the hallway and back up the stairs and to his library he was glad the downstairs was soundproofed, he did not need the poor dears screams to upset those waiting in his library.
Opening the door to the library he stepped back inside his dark eyes locating Grimoire and a nod was given to younger vampire. "I thank you for entertaining our guests while I attended to business. Are either of these fine guests of ours worthy of a conversation with you?" He asked, by way of asking if the other wished either as his own childe. He would not say the exact words, such would not be proper but he did wish to know. It seemed that while he had been busy with business two more ladies had arrived, how lovely. Not only would Grimoire's answer tell him if that one was worthy but he was hoping the other would point out if the other was as well, since he had not spoken to either of the new arrivals.
For a brief moment he thought on the one down stairs in a bed room of sorts locked in a frenzy she would not be released from for quite a good many hours. When she was he would have her first proper meal waiting for her.

Kamilah couldn't stay focused on anything long enough to feel sane from the pain. It was too much. Her mind spun with emotions, and none of them good. She hated this! Nothing could be worth this amount of pain. She wished there was someway to end it, make the pain stop, but there was no way out anymore. For a moment, she could breath again, but in the moment she took that breath, the pain returned, doubling her over.
It felt as though someone were ripping her limb from limb, but her body wouldn't break. Instead, it seemed that her whole body was being stretched far beyond what would be considered normal, and far larger than she'd ever been. She swore in her head that if she survived whatever was happening, she would kill him for doing this to her. If she survived.
Her whole body ached, but she seemed to have quit growing, at least for now. The burning pain subsided, but not enough for her to get a clear head. Looking down at her body, she felt herself go pale and then wondered if it was possible for her to become paler than she was. All of her fur seemed to have lost it's color. Kamilah wondered if that had happened while she was growing, but before she could get a good thought wrapped around the idea, she collapsed onto the bed again. The pain this time was in her face. It felt like someone was breaking ever bone in her face and remodeling it. And then she couldn't see. Something was happening with her eyes! Perhaps it was the changes to her facial structure that was doing it.
Again and again she cursed inside her head, unable to verbally get more out than a strangled scream as the fire and pain coursed through her. It was maddening. Was she really expected to survive this? Or would she die in this torment? She could feel her ears shifting, changing like the rest of her body. Once more, a new, and horrible sensation came over her body. It felt as though her skin was stretching over her new, long frame. Surely it would rip, and she would die then! Her mind continued raging, furious with herself, Marconius, and whoever had invented this torture.
Every time the Nymphae thought it was over, and she had survived, another wave of pain washed over her and she would writhe in pain on the bed. She lost track of any kind of time, and anything besides the hatred in her head for everything that existed in those moments, and the pain. Those were the only things real anymore.
And then, it was over. She had no idea how long she had been like that, writhing, screaming, and wishing for death to take her, but somewhere in the midst of her rage, the pain had subsided. For the first time, she opened her now ebony eyes and once more looked down at her body. Suddenly, her mind was filled with questions. What had she become? Where was the one who had made her like this? Would she be let out of this room soon? Glancing around, she noticed the few pieces of furniture again. Somehow, they looked different than she remembered, like she hadn't really seen them before.
((Hope that was okay. =]))

The temple was quiet as the new born vampire drifted through the halls towards the library. Her long hair drifted behind her as she moved gracefully, pushing the large door open with ease. Kamilah was still adjusting to the odd sensation of movement she had now. It wasn't like the way she remembered moving, this was almost like...she couldn't think of what it was like, but it was better, just like her sight. Everything had been better since she'd woken from her frenzies, except the thirst. The thirst was a bother, but she had been assured she would become used to it.
In the mean time, she distracted herself with books, learning everything she could about anything. Dark eyes scanned over the shelves, easily picking out the one she had been reading last time on a shelf across the library. In her strange new way, she moved down the row, plucking the book from the shelf and tucking it carefully under her arm. Kamilah moved to a clear table, pulling the chair out and sitting gracefully before opening the book on the table.

He had greeted her when the frenzy and the change had passed. He'd let her out from the room and shown her to a proper room, it would be nothing if not rude for him to not personally show her to her room. On the way he'd assured her the thirst she would become used to, and it would ease in time. He had given her a bottle of his finest spiced blood to help. He would be teaching her to hunt, as he'd told her he was bringing his bloodline together slowly and thus did not have many on hand to teach her aside from himself.
It seemed his elder had gone off on some mission, to see if there were no fae's he couldn't find that would suit the bloodline.
Tonight he heard the door to the library open, as he moved down the stairs from his personal study. Deciding to investigate he slipped in, as the door was open. Watching her back he smiles, just a bit. She was a diligent reader/learner. He had watched her spend nights in here reading since he had brought her into this new world of hers.
"To what do you devote yourself this eve, if I might be so bold as to ponder?" He did wish to know what she studied, how far was she progressing in her reading and self given lessons.Soon he would begin his personal and private lessons with her.

Kamilah made a mental note as Marconious entered. She didn't even have to check with her eyes to see if it was her master; her ears and other senses had become strong enough. Everyone had a certain sound and smell to them, and she had quickly learned to identify the others in the temple without her eyes. Not sure if he was here to speak with her or to pick up a book of his own, she continued reading, keeping one ear open in case he did engage her in conversation. As he spoke, she finally looked up for the book, nodding her head respectfully to him.
"Tonight I'm looking through the stories of old legends. Not precisely historical, but it's astounding how much truth there is to the stories!" Her dark eyes almost seemed to light up as she looked back to the pages. "Stories of monsters and ghosts passed off as just that, stories. How little the mortals really know. It's...incredible really. How much they know, but pass off as false just to feel safe." Running her paw through her hair, she looked back to him. "But how are you this evening, my Lord?"

"Indeed." He spoke gently as he took a seat near her. He was not one to normally interrupt others, it was impolite, but he wished to speak with her. She was new and there was much to learn about her, much more than he had learned before turning her.
"Yes, there is much mortals do not know about what is really out there. It's amusing when one gives it much thought. But the stories are fascinating and worth reading, to see how accurate the stories are." He said this while crossing one leg over the other.
"I am well, and you may call me by my name. Here we are all scholars and children of knowledge and learning." Living to learn and no titles needed simple names worked as they were all equal in many ways.

She smiled, listening to him speak. Even with her new hearing, his voice still sounded magical to her, just as it had before. It pleased her that he didn't think her reading was foolish; part of her had worried that he would. As she finished combing her hair with her claws, she gently tucked it behind her ear so it wouldn't distract her.
"Thank you, Marconious. May I ask what I have done to earn your presence tonight?" Her wings fluttered slightly, stirring her hair again. She didn't know much about their founder, and her vampiric father, but she knew that it wasn't typical for him to interrupt anyone while they were studying. Crossing her feet beneath her chair, she waited patiently for his answer. Of course, she was honored by his presence, but at the moment, she would like to continue her readings. It was quite interesting. Then again, she had never known a conversation with Marconious to not be interesting. Perhaps she should not be so anxious to get back to her studying. Although they had forever, she figured that Marconious' visits and conversations with her would become less frequent.

"My presence tonight comes with the news that soon we will begin your private lessons. There are many things, abilities, you must learn and eventually master. You will not master them whilst I team you, they will take long nights of practice and further study, but lessons in these abilities will begin with me aiding you and pointing you down the right path. These abilities I will teach you are to be kept to yourself and those here within our bloodline, your fellow Kiasyd. No others shall learn of our gifts, as many shall not even learn of our existence." He spoke his voice as serious as ever but as calm as always.
"Soon, when more come into the fold, we will move. This haven was never to be permanent. This haven was set up to hold a small group of us, until we grew, so I may train those here with far more ease." But soon they would out grow this haven and would need to move. More books were where they would move, the books here would be taken with them. And he would not be the only one giving lessons or bringing in new blood to strengthen the bloodline.
"These are the reasons I have to speak with you." And to know what she was reading, how far into her lessons was.
