A small, faint but a sweet familiar voice called for Misa. The girl looked over her shoulder and saw a cute intimidating Nidoran. It was a female to boot, a creature she found difficult to find before. It was just as rare as finding a Jigglypuff in this city. The creature gave a small growl as it looked fiercely at Misa. However she just couldn’t take the small creature seriously. Its intimidating face was too cute and adorable for the girl to see as a threat. Misa knew what it wanted though so she would have to have a battle with the female Nidoran and it was a Lv. 5 too. So it wasn’t going to be all that strong…. Here {22/30=Soft Sand}

There was no way she would risk Pikachu getting poisoned by Nidoran’s horn. She wasn’t sure if it had the Poison Point ability but why risk it? Since Pikachu was getting a lot of experience from the past battles Misa could give the yellow creature a break. It would be about time to break out one of her other Pokemon so that they could get some experience in. The teen thought about the Geodude and then Butterfree. Psychic types were super-effective on Poison types but so were Ground-type moves. Out of the two Geodude would be the one to be used in the Gym after next so maybe it was time to use it?

After contemplating a bit Misa decided on using Geodude. She needed time to get accustomed to Geodude and she hardly had summoned it since capturing it. ”Geodude, I choose you.” Misa threw the creature’s Pokeball into the air. Out popped out a familiar Pokemon from her time in Mt. Moon and one that was trying to steal some food from her too. She wasn’t all too thrilled to have a food stealer but she was going to rely on it to help her. Misa couldn’t stick with the original six that she began with. For one, she wanted to be with Kanto Pokemon and there was no way this journey would be easy with the original six.

Misa began looking through Geodude’s information to see what moves it had. Even though it had been on her team she wasn’t so sure what it already knew. ”Alright Geodude, use Magnitude!” The rocky creature cried out a battle cry and began to do something with its fists. It looked like they were being balled up but she wasn't sure what else it could do with them. This was the first time she would initiate the attack and a Ground-type one too. ’Well….that was something….new….’ The last Misa had been hugged like that was from Goodra. None of her other Pokemon had showed such displays of affection. Not even Ivysaur...though it had its own way of showing that it cared so maybe it was an exception. Pidgeotto was kind by nature but it couldn’t hug her since it had wings. Butterfree was serious so there was no way it would even try to hug her. Growlithe was still getting accustomed to everything but it was affectionate with its leg rubs. And then Geodude was the wild card she didn’t see. How did she not see that one coming?

“Ekansssssss~” The hissing sound could only come from one Pokemon in this area….another rare find. Misa looked around and around but didn’t spot the snakey fellow. “Sssssssss~” This time the girl looked above her and saw that the Ekans was dangling on a Fire Escape ladder. It was peering towards the girl while keeping its grip on the railing. She wasn’t sure if she should reach for Geodude’s Pokeball just yet. Considering that odd way of showing affection it was actually enough for her to reconsider. Did she want to get hugged? Did she not want to battle this Pokemon? Her desire for the team to grow stronger outweighed the chance of getting embraced again. In front of her eyes another Ekans was slithering up to the fainted Ekans. It seemed to be communicating with it, trying to get it to wake up. Misa knew it would need a Potion or some sort of healing instrument to be used on it for it be awaken, and thus the Wild Ekans attempts would be futile.
