I'm starting to question whether I want to do the family thing or not for the final project. At first I thought it would be fun... but now... I don't know. Especially with such limited information that's easily accessible without having to sign up to a site or stuff like that.

I guess I'll figure it all out when the times draws nearer. I just wish I had the resources to shed some more light on that side of my family. I know quite a bit about my maternal side of ancestors, only because that family's always been into genealogy. But my paternal side doesn't seem to have the same interest... or if they do, the distant interaction makes it harder to know much about each other.

bislas wait what is the assignment about??? The final project can be basically anything, just as long as you connect it with some of the assigned readings read in class.

Of course this is just a brainstorming stage. I don't have to actually officially decide on a project until later in the term.
Plus more ideas will come up as I get more familiar with more of the 17th & 18th C. texts we read.

Makes it a bit harder to think about what other project ideas I could do when I'm not as familiar with 17th/18th C. literature. But that probably is because I was never really interested in the events occurring at the time (i.e. Revolutionary War). At least, not as interested as I am in the 19th C. and what not.

And it makes it even more complicated when we're primarily focusing on the history of America. *shrugs and chuckles* I'll figure stuff out when the time for true seriousness on the matter comes about.

Yesterday I spent the day visiting with family that had come up and down to visit with each other. I had lots of fun hanging out with them. Took quite a few photos and videos throughout the day.

The Valentine's event is apparently in motion, though there hasn't been any official announcements yet. This year you get to send Valentines to folks... and apparently items as well. *thinks* Hmm... I wonder if I'm able to send Valentines without attaching items to them, because I don't want to spend gold on sending items. Especially at the price they're asking for.
Anyway... the items look quite cute. I wonder whether I'll receive any items or not... or if I'll have to buy them from the Marketplace when the event is over.

*sighs* What a shame... I can't send Valentines without an item.
