Misa’s eyes landed on some information about Soft Sand. Since the Gym Leader did love his Rock-type Pokemon they had been known to crush rocks into sand in their training. Good thing her Pokemon weren’t rocks or else she might have had a different story to tell about her last Gym Battle. Well, it seemed that this sand was found to help power up Ground-type moves. Which, in turn, meant that it could help her Geodude that was steadily getting stronger. Now she was looking for information as to where this Soft Sand would be. Much like with the Amber, Misa would have to go around the city to find this Soft Sand. At least the notice held a picture of what the item looked like and that it would be within a lavender or purple-colored pouch. Well, it that sort of information would definitely help her when trying to look for the item. This was the much needed item that would definitely kill a lot of time. Misa was no expert at hide-or-seek but at least it would be a fun mini-adventure to go on. And the extra time spent on the item would help her find this Jigglypuff. So more birds were getting knocked down out of the sky with the amount of stones Misa was lugging out.

Maybe it really was the bird Pokemon ganging up on each other to make sure that other Flying-types were to meet the fate they met with Pikachu. If that were the case then it was absurd. But there wasn’t exactly anything she could do about it. Misa could only send out the trusty Pikachu to make another quick work of a Spearow. It wouldn’t give as much Exp as the others but it would help the yellow one. She was beginning to feel bad about sending out a Pokemon that had a type advantage over these creatures. But Pikachu was the only one of the three who hadn’t met her quota.

”Alright Pikachu, a familiar opponent is waiting for you.” Misa gave the ball a small toss with very little enthusiasm. This wasn’t a very serious battle and it was going to end just like with the others. The small bit of guilty was what made her not look forward to the battle. She had nothing against the birds but it seemed like they all had a grudge against her. ’I wonder what exactly did I do to them?’ She tried to recollect past events involving Spearows. There was just one and it didn’t bring pleasant memories. It was then that she realized that there was no reason for her to feel guilty if these Spearows were the same as before.

With a familiar face moving itself away from the scene so was Misa. She was beginning to see the connections between this flurry of Spearows and past events. ”Thank you Pikachu.” The Electric creature was returned to its ball as she began to distance herself from the billboard. Now her mind would look for this Soft Sand treasure hunt. It would be of use to her IF she could find it. The city was big and looking for something in a pouch that was the size of her hand would probably not be easy to find. Misa doubt that it would sit in the middle of the road for that would be too obvious. It might have been hidden in a crack, a corner, behind some object, in some object etc. There were many places to look so she would have to get crackin on the search. Who knew if anyone else was trying their luck at this interesting game so it was in her best interest to find the object first.

“Pidgey!” Misa looked up at the creature that hovered itself above the girl’s head. ’I could understand why the Spearows but would the Pidgeys attack? Do they just want to chip in and defend their electrocuted bird friends? The Pidgey’s face was fierce but its level was fairly low at a 6. It wasn’t the lowest level Pokemon Misa faced today but it still shared a weakness with every other Pokemon that faced her in Pewter City. ’It seems like maybe Pikachu will be the next Pokemon to let out its spot for Sandshrew. When Pikachu popped out of its ball and noted the change in the human’s expression it let out a sigh of relief. It wasn’t brave enough to ask her what was wrong but it could always give a hug if she needed. Was it much of a fighter?
