Larai snuggled herself close, closing her eyes as she layed there beside him. She did not fall asleep, nor was she tired enough to do so. It simply helped her relax.

Daemon's eyes fell half closed with a warm smile sitting on his face. He had one arm and one wing around Larai and already felt his worries starting to melt away as they so often did when they snuggled up together like this.

{Sure I didn't. As for what to do, I can think of a few minor things. Maybe some of Daemon's old non-human mistresses could have come to town, and he could catch Milly delivering cold ironic vengeance to each? Or perhaps we could timeskip to where Larai's baby starts kicking? Jaquel and Ariae could come to town, and upon learning of Daemon's existance or identity, could go all knight-templar and try to have him erradicated? Kai could go knight-templar older brother again, still reluctant to allow Daemon to remain in a relationship with Larai when she has to sacrifice so damn much to keep it? Or something else?}
