Uncertainty followed Grayson as he slowly rose to his feet, though it failed to register on his face, but eventually he did as instructed and set out into a fast walk to catch up with Emmet. Both remained quiet, with Aita taking quick peeks at the 'newcomer' every chance he got, with their short trip ultimately leading them to the cafeteria. "I suspect you haven't eaten yet, so go ahead and grab whatever you need. I'll go find us a table," Emmet instructed, already heading for the nearest available table. "And would you grab me a cup of coffee. Black."

► Getting back to Pewter town took around two days and burned through the reaming supplies Fremy had gotten in order to make the initial trip through Mt,moon to Cerulean city. A finical curse in the moment but not one she wouldn't over come once she got to Pallet town and had the Helix fossil revived. Omanyte, a long extinct species of pokemon from millions of years ago which could only be gotten by having a fossil revived by a Pokemon professor. Fremy was already setting up an exchange for the pokemon. Her contacts stretched just fair enough that it wasn't impossible to find a buyer and her fame was enough that she wasn't simply blown off as a con artist.
"Correct ... Im heading there now ... My price isn't negotiable ... I look forward to the exchange." She hung up fairly satisfied she'd began the deal that would set her up for the next ten years easy. Collectors would begin clambering to get a hold of the pokemon, even as a fossil it was worth a fortune, alive it was near priceless. They where simply to rare of a pokemon for most to pass up. In the mean time there wasn't a point in not taking some extra work and lucky there a small job to be done not far down the path.

Azalea insisted, putting Iris' pokeball on the counter in front of Nurse Joy. "Oh, and I guess you should heal this one too." Azalea suggested, pulling out the pokeball that contained the strange black meowth she had caught earlier. "O-oh, alright...." The Joy didn't seem to know what to make of Azalea's sudden demands, but it was easy to adhere to them, given her job. Once her pokemon were being taken care of, Azalea turned to the PC, withdrawing Jasmine so that the scolipede could be released, and Azalea could climb on top of her back and stretch out. "Ah.... That's the stuff." She sighed contently. The giant bug payed Azalea little mind, obviously quite used to being a mobile couch. Azalea barely weighed anything anyways, so the scolipede couldn't really complain.

Azalea was probably one of the few people who felt comfortable sprawling out on the back of a giant poisonous bug. "Is this how you treat all of your pokemon.....?" Arum asked incredulously. "What do you mean?" Azalea asked with a yawn. "Feeding them potentially poisonous mushrooms without worrying, using them as furniture..." Arum listed. "What? They don't particularly seem to mind, ain't that right Jas?" Azalea directed the question at her scolipede, patting the bug's side. "Scol." Jasmine stated indifferently. "Rafflesia seemed to enjoy the mushroom too, I don't see the problem." Azalea shrugged. "Miss, your pokemon are healed and fighting fit." Nurse Joy announced. "Cool beans. Yo Jas, can you bring me a little closer? I can't reach." Azalea asked, pathetically reaching up to try and take her pokemon back from the counter to show her point. With an amused grunt, Jasmine moved backwards, maneuvering around the counter so that Azalea was positioned right underneath Nurse Joy's outstretched hands. "Just drop em." Azalea insisted, too lazy to reach up. "Oh.... Very well." She seemed hesitant. "Don't be coy Joy, I won't destroy my toys." Azalea smirked, catching the two pokeballs as they dropped. Those numbskulls back in Po Town would have loved that one. Too bad they didn't have a Nurse Joy running the pokemon center joint back there.

With her pokemon squared away, Azalea figured they should probably get something to eat before battling Brock. At the very least, she was starving from all that physical labor picking up one damn mushroom. "I'm starving.... You hungry Arum? Do you even get hungry anymore?" Azalea asked with mild curiosity. "Not really...." Arum mumbled. It was clear she hadn't even given it much thought. "Eh, I should've guessed. Lavender's the same. What about you four, you want something to eat?" Azalea glanced between Rafflesia, Nightshade, Hemlock, and Jasmine. "Let's go to the cafeteria. Can't pass up free food." Azalea insisted without really waiting for a reply. It didn't really matter anyways because Azalea was hungry, so regardless of how her pokemon currently felt, they were going to the cafeteria. After gently spurring the scolipede on, Jasmine obliged, bringing Azalea down the hall and into the room beyond, her trail of pokemon following close behind.
As they paraded in, Jasmine moved Azalea towards the small buffet of food, but due to her large size, she had to squeeze in past a few tables, most of which were empty, but there was a table she bumped that just so happened to be occupied by a group of bikers, and the careless nudge spilled soda into one of the thug's laps. "Hey! What the--?!" He jumped up, shocked by the cold ice hitting his lap. "Scol." Jasmine muttered something akin to an apology, though she obviously held no sympathy for the large man. Azalea hadn't really noticed the disruption her entourage had caused, far more focused on sitting up and reaching for a bag of chips to snack on while she looked around at her other options for food. Though as she opened the bag and dug a chip out, another fell onto the floor beside her, and Nightshade came under the table, sniffing the scrap of food out and wolfing it down, though this only further jostled the biker's table, further annoying the group. "Hey kid, why don't you control your damn pokemon?" One of the punks insisted, only to be ignored as Azalea finished her chip and fed Nightshade another one.

Peeved by Azalea's lack of interest, the punk who had just addressed Azalea stood abruptly, only to be waved down by the other member of the trio who had gotten soda spilled in his lap. "Relax Chris, I'll handle this." He insisted as Azalea waved a chip in the air and glanced at her toxicroak. "Yo Hemlock, want one?" Azalea offered, still ignoring the table of thugs next to them. "Crooooak." Hemlock opened his jaw wide and allowed Azalea to toss the chip in his direction. Her aim was off, but Hemlock was able to grab the chip with his long tongue and pull it into his mouth. Arum shifted nervously, feeling the men growing more agitated by Azalea's refusal to engage. "Um... M-miss Azalea, perhaps we should.... I mean... I think we're disturbing these people....." Arum mumbled. "That's their problem. I'm just trying to get some food." Azalea shrugged. "Our problem? You're the one dragging your giant worm through here. Do you really need to take up this much space when people are trying to eat?" Azalea wordlessly held up a chip to Jasmine to see if she'd take any interest, ignoring the thug again. It was hard to read the scolipede, given that she was about as apathetic as Azalea. Jasmine sniffed at the chip and moved her head away, more interested in the berries nearby, but she would wait until Azalea was finished here and had her move on. "Great, now she's not eating. You're making my scolipede feel self conscious. I hope you're happy." Azalea suggested sarcastically with a sigh.

Frankly Azalea knew Jasmine wasn't a fan of things like chips, but she couldn't resist acting as overly dramatic as she felt the biker was currently being. "Cheeky little brat aren't ya?" Azalea's crimson eyes fell on the thug at last, but she didn't say anything just yet, still thoughtfully munching a chip. "Do I really look that young....? Huh." Azalea scratched her cheek and shrugged, reaching for another chip, only to have the bag smacked out of her hands. "Damnit, that's it. Maybe if youd've apologized, we could have let this go. If you won't return your pokemon, then I'll just knock them out!" He grabbed a pokeball from his belt, and finally Azalea took some interest in the thug before her. "Rude." Azalea mumbled, nibbling on the chip she still had. "If it was a battle you wanted, you could have just said so, numbskull." Azalea looked at the chips on the floor and sighed. "Arceus damn, shut up." The thug growled, annoyed by Azalea's lax attitude about the entire situation. Nightshade looked at Azalea longingly, silently asking permission to eat the rest, and as soon as she nodded dismissively, he made his way over to the fallen bag. Azalea then slid off of Jasmine's back and got to her feet, sticking her hands in her pockets, which allowed the scolipede to move towards the bowl of berries and eat a few."Rafflesia." Azalea glanced to the bulbasaur, who gave a yawn and waddled over to Azalea's side, resting against her foot. "Heh, pangoro, why don't you take care of this?" Azalea watched as the large panda pokemon was let out, unfazed as she placed her headphones on her head and cued up some music to grove to while battling. At least it would make the fight more interesting than it was actually going to be. "Go on." Azalea encouraged with a nudge of her foot. With a small grunt of protest, Rafflesia stood and waddled up into the makeshift battlefield and with a single power whip, she was able to take the pangoro by surprise and knock it unconscious. Over and over again, she did the same to the thug's other dark type pokemon, until he was left with nothing else. "Is that all?" Azalea asked in a bored tone. "What.... What the hell...." Azalea's eyes narrowed. "Get lost, boneheads.""Saaaaur." Rafflesia chimed in, trying to be intimidating, but she was too tired to put any effort into the growl. Those power whips had actually taken a lot out of her, but it was good practice. Thankfully, the punks didn't need much more convincing, quickly making their exit. They were done with their meal anyways, and now one of their members desperately needed to get their pokemon healed.

As annoying as it was to be forced to, essentially, be turned into an assistant Grayson still did as he was told, grabbing food for himself and Aita --the rest of his team didn't need to actually eat, or if they did the buffet certainly didn't provide the nutrients needed-- as well as the black coffee for Emmet; he decided to get him decaf, since he didn't specify. He still had his back turned to the room, his attention solely on picking out the remnants of his dinner, when a familiar figure rode in on her throne-- or, more accurately, her Scolipede, and although he didn't immediately notice her presence, Emmet did.
It was hard to miss the young girl riding in on a giant insect, if not for the pokemon's size then its inability to maneuver through the crowded room, and at first Emmet saw it nothing more than a nuisance. Though his expression didn't give away his annoyance, he did afford the trainer and her pokemon a disapproving glance over before he turned his gaze away, left hand pushing his glasses back up the bridge of his nose. He'd only just looked away, however, when the girl's appearance registered in his mind. Was she really here? Of all places? Emmet turned his head back to look at Azalea, though by this time he was no longer the only person who'd noticed her, and her Scolipede. His eyes narrowed as he watched as a few punks addressed Azalea, and extending his hand out flatly onto the table he'd laid claim to, he moved to stand up.
His premature notion of aid was unneeded, as it would quickly become apparent, and Emmet forced himself to keep still as Azalea made quick of the punk's pokemon, sending them into a hasty retreat afterwards. Once more Emmet kept an indifferent stance, then, ever so slowly, he dropped himself back into his seat. Adjusting his glasses he turned his head away from Azalea and towards Grayson-- or at least where he expected him to be. But, as he soon found out, the teen was no longer at the buffet and was fast approaching-- Inwardly, Emmet began to bristle.
"Just can't go anywhere without causin' a scene, can you?" Walking around Nightshade Grayson stopped to stand beside Jasmine, tray in hand and Aita peering down from his perch. Viduus stood a few feet away, wrestling to peel the orange he'd managed to snag for himself. "It's too late for all this noise, ya know. People are trynna wind down," he pointed out to Azalea, just a hint of amusement in his tone.

As Azalea sent the punks running, she hadn't even noticed the man at another table that had been preparing to assist her if needed. She didn't expect anyone to help her out, so any movement from other tables was filtered out of her mind unless they came in close proximity, much like a familiar figure was doing currently, stepping around Nightshade as he finished licking up the crumbs of the chips on the floor and then began sniffing inside the bag for more. Hearing Gray's voice made Azalea visibly relax from her earlier lazy but attentive battle stance, her smirk hidden a bit behind the gasmask as she turned to grab another bag of chips and hop back onto Jasmine. "Apparently not. It's just a specialty of mine, wouldn't you say?" Azalea suggested with amusement, glancing to the strange kitten like creature on his shoulder as she opened her bag. "That's a new one.... Interesting." Azalea's tilted her head slightly in an unsettling fashion as her eyes stared at the magikit listlessly. Whether she was referring to Alta being new on Grayson's team, or a new pokemon that she hadn't seen before, she left up to interpretation.
Rafflesia, exhausted from her battle, waddled closer to Jasmine and Azalea, curling up on the floor and falling asleep. "Tired already? Heh. You lazy slob." Azalea crooned affectionately, leaning down to pick the bulbasaur up and bring her on her lap. "Saaaur." Rafflesia mumbled indifferently. "Want a chip?" Azalea offered, and the bulbasaur opened her eyes again ever so slightly, slowly taking the chip from Azalea's hand and munching on it with some small satisfaction. Azalea turned her attention back to Gray however, as he mentioned it was too late for so much noise. "Those numbskulls were the ones who started making the noise yo, I was just chillin' and tryin' to get something to eat." Azalea shrugged. "Not my fault Jasmine's big boned." Azalea patted the scolipede affectionately. "Besides, the important question is; what the hell are you doin' out here in Kanto? Thought you said you were in Sinnoh or some s**t." Azalea changed the topic smoothly. "Were you just that worried 'bout a monopoly on our couch, or did you just miss me?" Azalea suggested with a lazy smile.
►The new client wasn't exactly what Fremy had been expected when reading over the request on her tablet, but the payment was well worth the trouble. At least in writing. Upon arrival Fremy almost considered dropping the job out of sheer spite, though. The client was clearly drunk, and smelling of pissed. As much as Fremy disliked dealing with the opposite sex she liked dealing with clients with no sense of personal hygiene or smell even less. This one especially. "It's some big a** ******** bird Pokemon. With three heads I tell you!" He babbled loudly from his front door. "Never seen anything like it before." Fremy had to keep reminding herself of the payment otherwise she would have left right then and there. She had an idea of what the Pokemon was. She'd heard of it before. A Dodrio fit the veg description. "I'll handle it." Fremy said calmly attempting to keep her composure. "Just have my payment ready."
With the detail's the old man had given fresh in her mind, despite it really not being much. The one-eyed vixen set out to research her new foe. Thankfully she didn't need to go away where special because of her tablet and It didn't take her long before her hunch of if being a Dodrio was proven right. They were, in fact, a three-headed bird-like Pokemon. Standing roughly 6-7 feet tall. They loved dried corn and would stick to wide open area's in order to reach top speeds for quick escapes. Dodrio were also faster than Rapidash which could be an issue. This all gave Fremy an idea how to lure the Pokemon out, corner it and capture it. She immediately knew she wanted to keep this one for herself too. Payment plus a new Pokemon she could use, this was worth dealing with the old b*****d for sure.
Fremy set her trap, in the spot the Pokemon had been spotted the most. A field behind the man's house, nice and open. Plantly of space to give chase after it if it made a run for it. But that as unlikely to be the cause, or so she thought. The trap was dried corn covering her Paras. The idea being that Paras would use Stun spore as soon as the Dodrio uncover it. That would stun the Pokemon and slow it down giving Donphan time to Thunder Fang it. If that failed Fremy was going to give chase on Rapidash and hit it with a sludge round. Noivern would keep watch from above and act as her eyes and the last line of support if she missed her shot or the Pokemon simply proved too much. It was also trained to warn her of anyone stumbling into her work.
It didn't take long after all the preparations were set before the big bird showed up. Fremy almost cursed her good fortune. It might have meant the Pokemon was watching from afar and knew what to expect. Donphan had the same idea just not the patience to wait and find out ,rushing into the field full speed. "Stupid ******** twit." Fremy swore kicking Rapidash's sides to urge him forward. "Hyaaah!" It was almost too late to save the ambush but Paras pull it off. Bursting out of hiding at the last second and blasting the Dodrio full on with a stun spore and sending the bird staggering back. Fremy had to reward the tiny bug later for that later.
Donphan was almost in reach when the bird recovered enough to make its escape. This was Fremy's only chance. Blunderbuss raised she took the shot. Contact! The black sludge spread in all directions covering the bird and almost tripping it but it saved itself just a hair before tripping. That would at least slow it down she thought. "Hyyaaaahh!" Fremy screamed urging Rapidash on faster but even with Stun spore and the sludge, this bird refused to slow down. Donphan caught up, rolling as fast as it could to keep up smashing through anything in its path. Fremy had to get the Dodrio to in reach of its Thunder f** if she was going to end this chase and she had to act fast. Pewter city was just a short ways off. At this rate, the damn bird would run right through town fremy thought.
It was time to end the chase. Raising two fingers to her lips Fremy whistled as loud as she could to alert her last line that it was time to step in. In less than a second Noivern swept in from her left and with a powerful impact knock the Dodrio off its feet to the ground. It struggled back up as Noivern made for a second pass but Donphan made it first crashing into the bird with a fully charged Thunder Fang. That was the end of that as the bird Pokemon collapse exhausted. Fremy didn't give it time to recover nor was she willing to risk a normal Pokeball resorting to an Ultraball instead. Fremy however didn't wait to revel in her victory. Donphan had screwed the entire operation up. "What the ******** if your problem!" She barked grabbing the Pokemon's tusk and yanking it to ensure she had its undivided attention.

With Azalea on Jasmine's back Grayson didn't have to crane his neck so far down to look at her, a subtle, though highly appreciated, change. At her suggestion that her inability to enter a new place inconspicuously was a specialty he simply smirked, perhaps one of the first genuine expression he'd made all day. "More like an inconvenience," he countered, though he was just as amused as she was. Grayson huffed when Aita was acknowledged, hand moving up to scratch the kitten underneath the chin when he felt him stiffen underneath Azalea's unwavering gaze.
Grayson didn't immediately respond, his own languid stare shifting to the Bulbasaur that approached Azalea. "So is that one." He reached out to steal a chip from out of Azalea's bag, ignoring the rather handy fact that he had his own food. "I take it that's the reason why you paid the dear ole professor a visit." The way he spoke, it was more of a fact than an educated guess. Chomping down on his chip Grayson rolled his shoulder, forcing Aita to retreat into the air, and snorted when Azalea displaced his noise complaint onto the group she'd sent packing, her story earning a sarcastic look of sympathy from the teen. "How rude of 'em. So glad you were around to put 'em in their place." Grayson quirked an eyebrow as the spotlight was put on him, he'd almost forgotten that he'd told Azalea that he was in Sinnoh for a while. "Maybe it was both," he suggested with a shrug. "Gotta check in with the couch an' my second favorite girl." Grayson stifled a yawn, allowing that joke to last a few seconds before he squashed it with a legitimate explanation. "I was only making a stop in Sinnoh. I'm back now, had somethin' of a mission to complete." He jerked his head to the table where Emmet sat, indicating that the older male had to do with his mission.

Azalea closed her eyes as Gray suggested that her inability to enter a new area without drawing attention to herself was an inconvenience. "Maybe in our line of work. Thankfully when it matters, everyone's usually already out cold when I walk in the room, so it doesn't matter that I'm not inconspicuous. Guess it shows." Azalea suggested with a shrug and a small unsettling smile, much like look she gave Alta when her gaze settled on Grayson's new teammate. The insomniac countered, pointing out the bulbasaur in Azalea's lap. "Mm.... I wanted to study the pollens that come from their bulb and flower, since they can have all sorts of nasty effects. Sleep inducing, paralysis, poison... Should prove to be useful research, though it would be better if she weren't so weak. Do you know how long I searched that damn forest for a ******** mushroom?" Azalea jerked her head in the general direction of Viridian Forest. "That's the only reason she was able to take on that thug. Arceus I love big mushrooms. As much of a pain in the a** it is to find one, they really can make a difference." Azalea sighed, shifting a bit on Jasmine's back to make herself more comfortable.
Azalea frowned as Grayson stole a chip from her bag though. "Yo, get your own." She insisted pulling the bag closer to her, not about to lose it to someone else a second time. Azalea was mildly happy that Gray found sarcastic amusement in her blaming of the punks earlier for being the ones causing the ruckus, but she turned the questioning around to him afterwards, asking what he was doing here. After all, last she'd heard, he was in Sinnoh. Her light teasing was responded in kind as Gray suggested that he needed to check in with the couch and his second favorite girl. Azalea rose an eyebrow to that, because surely he didn't mean her. "Oh really, and who would that be? The footstool?" She mused, though Gray soon gave her a real explanation, suggesting that he had a mission to complete involving some guy sitting at a nearby table, if Grayson's head jerk indicated anything. Azalea inclined her head to peer around Grayson, crimson eyes looking over this mysterious man. "Huh... I was gonna ask who the stiff was." Azalea murmured, relaxing against Jasmine again. "Am I allowed to ask about details, or is this all hush hush?" She inquired casually, nibbling another chip and then handing it to Rafflesia.

"Mm." Azalea did have a point, when it was required she was like a ghost, though as she pointed out that was mostly because any pokemon or human were already unconscious by the time she arrived. Unperturbed by this news Grayson simply grunted, "you're right about that." Although she explained her interest in her newly acquired Bulbasaur Azalea didn't confirm where she'd nabbed her, though she didn't deny having stolen it from Professor Oak either. "You've spent all this time searchin' for a mushroom?" Though not totally surprised there was amusement in Grayson's tone as he questioned his friend. "Couldn' you have just had one delivered to you? Searchin' for one seems like too much work." He was aware of the benefits of a big mushroom, despite having never used one himself, as well as just how difficult they were to find. He also knew that Azalea was just as lazy as he was.
Grayson crunched on his chip with a look of indifference, ignoring Azalea's compliant. "Everyone knows that chips taste better when they come from someone else's bag," he argued. That being said he didn't bother trying to snag another chip, content with the one he'd already had. He snorted when questioned who his second favorite girl was, Azalea assuming that it was the footstool back at headquarters. "As comfortable as she is, no. I was actually referring to you," he explained. That being said, it wasn't as if Azalea had much competition on his 'favorite list', if he didn't include the inanimate objects she'd actually be number one; he didn't take the time to social with others often. That took too much work. As amusing as this line of conversation was Grayson did eventually reveal the real reason why he was back, inclining his head towards Emmet as he spoke of his mission. "As much as I'd love to gush about this mission, I don't know much about it myself," he admitted, sarcasm heavy. "Why don't you come and meet him? You two have the whole 'love of poison' thing in common." There was a pause as Grayson yawned. "Plus, I'm tired of standing."

Azalea grumbled lightly as Gray repeated the fact that she had spent all this time wondering the forest. "That's what I said, isn't it?" Azalea said curtly. She liked Gray, or probably more accurately, he was familiar and comfortable and she wasn't adverse to his company, but even she had her limits for how long they dwelled on any particular topic when all the information had already been covered. There was no point of reiterating her statement other than to tease her, which wasn't appreciated. She was already irked from the amount of time she'd wasted searching for the mushroom and those annoying thugs trying to rain on her pokemon parade had been a nuisance too. She rolled her eyes as Grayson suggested that she could have called in for one. "They don't just hand out those things. I might have some pull, but I need a reason for it to be beneficial in some way to them, not just personal interest. I figured it would be easier to find one myself, and by the time I'd spent more time than I would have liked on the thing, I'd become too invested to just give up." Azalea explained with a shrug.
She grew a bit snippy when he stole a chip from her bag, but she had to admit with light amusement that he was right about chips tasting better if they were from someone else's bag. "Fair enough. Isn't there a term for that? Grass is greener syndrome? Heh. Fine, here." Azalea offered up the bag for the witty comeback, allowing him to take another chip if he so desired. Arceus knew she had stolen plenty of his chips too while they lounged on the couch and watched TV. Azalea tilted her head slightly as Gray insisted that she was actually his second favorite. "You have weird taste in favorites, but I'm flattered." She mused. When he gave a real explanation though, she was all ears, asking for more details if he was allowed to give them. Unfortunately it seemed Gray knew little about anything. "Hm... That's not surprising." She agreed. Void was always pretty hush hush about missions, keeping most of the information held back until it was necessary to reveal something so that the job could get done. That way there was little to no way of word getting out through loose lips or psychic spies before the mission was completed.
Azalea's crimson eyes glanced back to Emmet as Gray suggested she come meet him. She wasn't particularly interested, nor did she see what the point of meeting him was, but since Gray suggested they shared a common interest, and that he was tired of standing, Azalea supposed she could probe and be social. It wasn't often that Azalea met a kindred spirit, and it made the other male slightly more interesting, but Azalea was never really good at socializing. "I guess." Azalea yawned back, Gray's yawn having been contagious. "You're tired period." Azalea pointed out with a smirk, ushering Jasmine towards the table where Emmet sat. She hopped off of the Scolipede after they'd crossed over, sticking her hands casually in the pockets of her jacket. "Sup? You friends with my boy Gray or something?" She asked dully. "Name's Azalea. I guess it's nice to meet someone else who appreciates poison types or whatever." She shrugged, clearly not trying very hard to make a good impression but at least she was being more civil than she was with the group from earlier.
