(IMPROB'LITAY B'DAYUMNED!) (I don't know what I'm doing anymore. XD )
"If the egg takes any longer to hatch, I'd almost suggest stockpiling." Van joked. "Then we'd both get to keep feeling that little spark of life."

((I don't know and I don't know. You do a good job playing the babies, while I'm sure I'd fail (not that there's much too them, but I'm not terribly brilliant when it comes to playing kids, especially younger ones >.<), but then I feel bad making you play all these chars all the time. >.< ))

M3Gnificent rolled 5 4-sided dice:
1, 1, 2, 4, 2
Total: 10 (5-20)

{Then how about we split it up? I'll play the baby every now and then, and you will too. Like, 50/50. As for who does the hatching post, I now roll the die! If the total sum is 14 or below, I do it. 15 and up is your post.}

((That's all you then. And this reminds me of a bit of dialogue from a humorous Let's Play of an Ultima game. "What the hell is a tetrahedron?" "It's a d4." "Who the hell uses a d4?" It just made me lol harder since my rogue's attack rolls all use a d4. XD ))

Beneath their touch, the large egg began to throb and pulsate more than usual. It trembled and moved about, as if something were trying to break free from the inside itself.

Van watched with an ecstatic smile as he jerked his hand away, looked back at Mala in a 'CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! 8D' sort of way, then looked back at the egg.

The egg kept wriggling about, cracking here and there. This continued on until bits and pieces of the shell chipped off, a baby's hand reaching out - accompanied by his giggling. Before long the perfectly human looking baby boy broke free of his egg, and was giggling and laughing all the while.

"Never thought I'd be so glad to see a pair of tiny, kicking legs." Van said with a big smile as he brushed aside pieces of the shell to be cleaned up later before wrapping their baby boy up in the blanket he now sat in.

Mala couldn't help but look as proud as she could possibly be, gazing at her newborn son with loving eyes. "So, what shall we call our little kicker, then?"

((*goes through list of not-obviously-Japanese names from anime and games*))
"Let's see...." Van wracked his brain trying to come up with another perfect name for their son as he coiled himself up in the corner with the baby in his arms, as he often did these days when spending time with his kids. "How about....Senel?"

"You're welcome to pitch in too. You'll make me feel bad; this is the second child of ours in a row that I've named now, and I think I named Kai too." Van said with a small chuckle.
