Well, alone again, naturally!

These numbers are starting to look familiar...

It would be my luck to finally hit one of the right ones with no one around to share the joy.

Then again, as the saying goes, if I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all.

So I just walked into our living room and my roommate has a fish on the couch. (This is not a joke.)  

[dantes_way]

So I said to him, dude, there's a fish on the couch!  

[dantes_way]

So he says, it's not a fish, it's a Mahi-Mahi.  

[dantes_way]

So I said, it's still a fish! What's it doing on our couch?  

[dantes_way]

And he tells me he was at his girlfriend's parents' house and they were throwing it out, so he decided we needed it to liven up the place.

It's one of those stuffed trophy fishes, like the ones they stuff and mount after you catch them? It has a glass eye and plastic fins.

He sat it up on the couch like it's ordering a beer! I told him it goes or I go. And if I go, good luck getting the fish to cough up my share of the rent!

So now he's thinking about it...which is pretty pathetic when your own roomie would prefer a plastic, glass eyed non rent paying fish over you. stare

And on that cheery note, I will wrap this up for the evening and hope for better luck (and a more considerate roommate!) tomorrow. cool
