"This isn't about me wanting her to like me, either. She's pregnant with your child, and it will only add onto the stress she already has. That wouldn't be healthy in the least, now would it?" Milly then replied, wanting to make absolutely sure that Daemon understood her reasoning.

"I know...I know...." Daemon said averting his eyes before sighing. "I can't do this...I can't hide this from her, Milly, I love her. Larai has a right to know what I have in store for such worst case scenarios."

"If you insist. When she has more panic attacks than she would've, however, you cannot blaim me." Milly warned, letting go of her father and backing away a little.

"You're not making this any easier you know." Daemon said rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"Well, if you absolutely insist on teling her, you should make sure that she'd be able to help out and make the situation easier before you do."

"And she'll know I was hiding something from her. How's that going to make her feel?"

"Fine, fine. Go tell her, then. Just don't say I didn't warn you."

Now rather frustrated, Daemon grumbled a bit before getting up and leaving the room, though he didn't go right back to Larai. He instead wandered the caves for a bit to try and clear his head and think about telling her, since Milly did bring up a few good points.

Larai waited for Daemon's return in their chambers, laying back on their bed and imagining what their future child might be like. For awhile now, she'd been pretty adverse to it - even if she didn't say it. Somehow, though, the thought of being a mother was starting to grow on her.

Daemon slumped down against the wall of an empty chamber, wings slightly wrapped around him. "What should I do...? I can't hide things from Larai, but I don't want to stress her too much." he thought aloud as he held his head in one hand. The devil in his head had already begun whispering about finding some new bedmate that didn't have kids, but he managed to fight it off before finally getting up and heading back to Larai.

Once Daemon returned, she got up to run over and hug him as tightly as she could. Just because she wanted to. "Hey...Daemon? After all this business with Hell's court is over and done with, what should we do? I thought of going on a new heist for some excitement, but I'm starting to wonder if we'd be able to do even better."

"Do...what even better?" Daemon asked, blinking a few times in slight confusion, his hands around her waist after the hug. His mind was still in a bit of a haze from what was going on, so he wasn't entirely following this thought of hers that came from seemingly nowhere.

"You know how I had you help me steal the Emperor's crown in Syria? Well, I'm going to find an adventure or heist that'll top it! Since my mom and dad settled all that business with the gods, it might be neat to explore some of the non-mortal realms. Maybe the realm of the fae? I've heard that they're impish little monsters, so that might be fun and exciting. Or maybe the world of the dead?"

Daemon smiled. "Whatever you come up with, I'll gladly follow you wherever you choose to go. Although if anyone remembers my face, I'm sure there are a great deal of people that wouldn't appreciate my coming to the world of the dead...."

"The world of fae it is, then~" Larai giggled in delight, a broad grin resting on her lips. "You know, it'd be really awesome to steal something from them. Granted, their wrath is worse than most human poloticians, but it'd be humerous none the less."
