Misa returned the butterfly Pokemon to its pokeball and returned on her walk. Now that she was actually taking time to look around the city she believed she was getting the hang of it. Misa was beginning to understand which alleyways lead to where, which street connected to what and so on. It may have been a big place but it had its patterns. It may have not been flat or have smaller buildings but she was getting the hang of it. There was still that mindset of finding that Jigglypuff because it was such a rare Pokemon.

’I wonder what that man looks like.’ Misa thought back on the paper on the sign about the man giving out goodies to those who stick around the city long enough. She didn’t know if walking around the city for a whole day counted or if she actually needed to do something. Sure, she might go off to the museum but the girl doubted there would be Pokemon in there. Much less would the employees allow a battle to take place in an area with fragile items. ’So it looks like the museum is not an option unless I want to put a pause button on the Pokemon battling. I guess wandering and figuring out about these berries would be the best bet.’ Thus, in the meantime till another Pokemon decided to pop out of her, Misa headed towards a Botanist store or really any store that could give her more details about the berries. Maybe she could breed them or something but at least she would be able to kill time till this mysterious guy came to her and give her a goodie. The light blinded Misa momentarily, she was forced to shield her eyes a bit. It was the first time she had actually seen any of her Pokemon evolve. A much larger bird was hovering in the air, flapping its wings to keep it airborne. It had red feathers running along its head and its body was much larger yet similar to Pidgey. ”You’re Pidgeotto, right?” The bird chirped in response to Misa call. It looked the two would be out to find another opponent. This time Misa could make an exception. If any of her other Pokemon evolved she too would let them have another go at a battle. But with that thought she had to think about her team. Ivysaur just recently evolved so it wasn’t going to evolve anytime soon. Pidgeotto just evolved so that was another that was going to take time. Butterfree was already at its last stage of evolution along with Dewgong. Pikachu and Growlithe could only evolve with a stone. Unless Misa switched out some Pokemon to make room for another then she probably wasn’t going to see another evolution until much later.

As Misa walked along the path Pidgeotto flew through the air using its eyes to scan the city. Finding an opponent wouldn’t be too difficult. Now that Pidgeotto could fly at a higher altitude easily it felt that finding Pokemon would be an easy task. Perhaps, the flying Pokemon wanted to find an easy win, any Pokemon, or a Pokemon that it could test itself against. Misa didn’t know if this area would be the place. It didn’t really have any strong Pokemon for them to fight against. It may be easier to move on but that was questionable. There were still Pokemon to find.

It was thoughtful to fly over streets that connected to its prey but it was still going pretty fast. Perhaps Pidgeotto didn’t realize it was going fast but by the time it descended between the buildings Misa barely managed. ”Pidgeotto,” Misa was catching her breath while walking towards the bird. ”You should slow down a little next time.” The bird turned to look at the human and it was then that Misa noted the opponent: Mankey!

This was the elusive monkey Pokemon Misa wanted her hands on but also it was a Pokemon that she had regrettably met and did not catch. There were a few of them and this was one of them. There was no way she would allow for this one to get away. But she wasn’t sure if this was the reason why Pidgeotto chose this opponent. ”End this with Gust Attack Pidgeotto was already airborne when it sent out the attack. It flapped its wings just twice before a grand Gust attack was sending the Mankey flying through the air. ”Don’t let it get away.” The Flying Pokemon zipped through the air and caught the monkey by the tail. ’Yes!’

Pidgeotto brought the knocked out Mankey towards Misa. It seemed well aware of the girl’s intentions but the Pokemon got what it wanted. It desired to test its new strength and it did. How its power grew from that of a Pidgey was plain to see for itself and for the human. If the human wanted to catch the prey that was unfortunate to face it then so be it. The human threw the Pokeball towards the monkey. The Pidgeotto was unable to grasp onto the Pokemon anymore as it entered the Pokeball. But it was able to pick up the ball once it had given its inevitable ‘boop’.
