Akashisen nodded at Listio's request, "All right...though, he's somewhat of a rare encounter..." she said as a joke...though it was rare for her to make jokes. Maybe Miao was rubbing off her melancholy onto her. She turned away from them and walked out of the room with Miao on her back.[exits]

Sophia sighed and rubbed her head as she sat on the floor. She then looked at the shadows on the floor for some reason.

"Do you get the feeling like something big is happening, like your always gonna be missing out on things. I know I have been acting weird as of lately. I get these short bursts of anger which makes the dark me inside of me get strong for a moment and then I feel weak, like all my strength disappears."

She then rubs her shoulder.
"I want to be able to fight but something is telling me to stay out of the fights now. That this is not my war to be in...."

She then looked up at Listio.
"Did I just say...war? There are no wars right now, right?" her eyes were showing fear.

"Well technically were at war with the organization but i don't think that counts right now. As for your dilemma, Maybe some meditation may help." Listio suggested.

Nami held onto one of Carter's hands. "I guess that means my da won't be allowed to teach here anymore." She whispered to Carter.
Carter frowned and looked at Nami. She squeezed her hand. "I-I'm sure there's a way he can still be a teacher here..."
Nami and Carter walked to the side of the room to continue conversing.

Erin, Emalie, and Misty barged into the room. Emalie looked around for Nami. Finding her, she walked over to her. "I'm sorry, sweetheart...
Do you still have my pistol?"
Nami turned to her mother. "Y-yes. Why?"
Emalie reached up her skirt to the holster that was around her thigh. She pulled the gun out and stuck it in her belt. Nami's face went red. "Mother!"
"Relax, sweetheart. It was a good hiding place." Emalie set a hand to her cheek. "The chafing is incredibly harsh, though. Next time try somewhere more concealed."
Erin blinked as he watched the whole altercation. "How did I never notice tha'?"
"The female body can be decievin' with the right clothes,
my boy. Never fully trust a woman with intent."
Erin looked at Misty. "M'family's off their rockers..."

"Agreed. Even I don't hide weapons like that...then again I wore a trench coat so..." she purred.

"Heh i can relate. You wouldn't guess how many knives i have hidden on me. Hmm. I know all of you but i don't think we've met." Listio said looking at Emalie. She held out her hand to shake. "I'm Listio. I'm a temporary teacher here in the sparring room. Nice to meet you."

Emalie stepped forward. She declined to shake hands, out of respect. "Aye. I can tell. Of course, I'm no a student here, so..."
Nami stepped forward. "Eh, mum... You could shake her hand or somethin'. It's a wee bit awkward."
"Awkward?" Emalie looked at her daughter, almost a spitting image. "It's a sign of respect from one warrior to another. It goes back to the days where man stole another man's power with but a shake of the hand. Respect was given by a nod or a bow. That was how I was trained in the Order."
Erin yawned in boredom. "Oh, do tell more. Meanwhile, our beloved nurse is missing and quite possibly in danger."
Nami stared at Erin. "Wow.... I do believe this is only the second time I've heard you speak intelligibly."
"Mum, tell her t'stop makin' fun of me." Erin asked.
Emalie set a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, Erin. You just tend to take after your father. Quick learn with weapons but slow learn everywhere else."
Erin narrowed his eyes. He muttered swears under his breath.
