Ivysaur waddled over at its own pace and looked at the strange object. It wasn’t familiar to it nor did the human seem to recognize it. ”Do you have any idea what it could be used for? Ivysaur picked up the object with its vine to inspect it. It was a very light object and very much yellow. Ivysaur could think of one Pokemon that this might be for. Though Misa was interested in the object she had no idea that the Ekans was in possession of such a thing. She wasn’t aware that Pokemon were able to hold these sort of objects but if that were the case then what other sorts of objects were out there? There could be so many objects so it was now beginning to feel like a small game.

As Misa contemplated what she should use the item for a Pidgey came. Both Misa and Ivysaur rolled their eyes at the Pokemon but it was still a Pokemon. ”Return for now Ivysaur,” the creature was returned to its ball and the ball was returned to her belt. The opponent was a Lv. 7 Pidgey which meant that it would be an easy job for her Pokemon. Any of her Pokemon, at least those on her team could easily beat this creature. Though, Misa wasn’t sure if it pained her Pidgey to see her partners beat up a fellow of its own kind. ’I hope it knows that it isn’t personal.’ Misa took ahold of Pikachu’s pokeball and sent it out. With the battle done it was off to find another opponent and some answers for her berries. ”Rest up Pikachu until your next match.” The yellow creature was returned to its ball and Misa looked around the area. The sign detailed about an individual handing out fossils to tourists who stayed long enough in the city. Misa turned her head towards the creature and distinctly saw the Rattata. For the moment it appeared preoccupied with something near the garbage. ’I guess they aren’t that picky if they are going through garbage. But I don’t think that is right either. They should find food somewhere else. At least Misa knew that it was a normal-type Pokemon which meant that any of her Pokemon could fight it off just like with how Ivysaur took down the Pidgey from earlier. And since the two Pokemon she was going to use had some training in it was now a free-for-all for the rest of her team.

Thinking about the Pokemon on her team she excluded Ivysaur and Pikachu since they just had battled. Growlithe wasn’t a priority right now since the next Gym Leader was a Water-type so Growlithe wouldn’t do very well against a Gym Leader’s Pokemon. Then that left three Pokemon that were on her team: Pidgey, Butterfree and Dewgong. She didn’t want to include Butterfree just incase another poison-type came up to them. That left Pidgey and Dewgong who could definitely stand up to the Gym Leader. ’I guess Dewgong is up.’ As Dewgong was a Water-type it meant that the water moves would be much weaker against it. It would be a great wall just incase Misa needed to heal her Pokemon.

”Now return and get some rest.” And so the Dewgong was returned and now Misa had to decide how she wanted to handle the rest of the day. There were still plenty of battles to battle. Right now it looked like the Pokemon were beginning to pop out one after another. That would make it easy for her Pokemon to get some experience but made it a bit harder to find certain Pokemon. Misa recollected that the Jigglypuff was seen in this specific city, in fact she was in a battle with it but was unable to catch it. It was a perfect opportunity and she blew it. If one was wondering why she wasn’t going after Mankey then it was because there were other opportunities to catch it. This wasn’t the only place with Mankey and her journey would make her circle back to these parts again. Once she had become stronger it may be easier to find certain Pokemon. Maybe it will be not long till she finds an object that attracts certain Pokemon to her.

A female Nidoran caught her sight while she walking through the city. It seemed to be by its lonesome without a male Nidoran around. ’I must say that this is a rare sight but I might as well take this opportunity.’ Misa already had a Pokemon planned out in case she was going to meet another Poison-type Pokemon. ”Come out Butterfree!” The butterfly Pokemon popped out of its ball and fluttered into the fight. To be honest, Misa didn’t think she would be using Butterfree so often. There may be other uses for the rest of the Pokemon but Butterfree was a big surprise. But soon Butterfree would have to settle in her PC to make room for other Pokemon that would need to fight other Gym Leaders. It was too bad that would have to happen but it wouldn’t last for long! After the Gym Leader that Misa would have to fight she was planning on putting Butterfree back into the active party. There would still be other Gym Leaders that Misa would switch Pokemon around but her current team would be her go to.
