Of course, it was always fun. She waved toward the stands as she went on, well waved toward Roman, but he probably didn't even know she was waving at him, what were the chances he was looking. She went to the teams side of the field, and awaited orders, although obviously the orders were clear, make sure the quaffle doesn't get through the hoop.

Lily walked down to the quidditch pitch next to Xeno. It was good that they had decided a long time ago, it didn't really matter that they were playing against each other. At least they were both Chasers, so they didn't have to worry about throwing bludgers at each other or something. As the two walked, Lily tried to put off an air of ease. She was pretty much never at ease before a quidditch game, but she'd at least try to make the rest of the team believe she was confident about it. She'd stopped trying to figure out who was going to win because, yes, talent played a part, but many times it seemed like a flip of a coin, so she'd just play and watch what happened.

 Xeno was...well, she was honestly sort of glad to be in her last year of quidditch. She loved to play the game, but the whole competition aspect was exhausting. There was a reason she wasn't going professional. She'd much rather play a toss-up with her siblings or something. There was a reason she wasn't the team captain. She strode next to Lily and began to do a quick stretch with the time she had before the game began.

Bowtan was ready for game day. Walking onto the field, the sixth year was pumped and ready to go. She wanted this to be a great start to the season. With Ada as captain and their string of losses behind them, this was sure to be a great game. The anticipation was building the longer she had to wait. Rolling on her heels, Bowtan couldn't wait to get the game started. Ravenclaw would hopefully serve as a good match up, though hopefully not one that would prove to much of a challenge.

xxxxx⥈ Wʜᴀᴛ's Iɴsɪᴅᴇ Mʏ Hᴇᴀᴅ? I can't wait!
It was a lovely day to start off the newest quidditch season. The rosters had all been drawn and the teams were set. Now it was just time to watch the season play out. There were lots of exciting matchups, but it was starting with Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. She had to wonder how Sebastian and Naomi would do, especially after last year. Both of them had handled seasons of losses, and both of them would rise like little phoenix babies. Xiang was just glad she'd get to watch it happen.
As she waited on the pitch for all of the Lions and Eagles to appear, Xiang chatted with Marni, who seemed somehow both excited and already stressed for the season. Probably with valid reason. Once all the kiddos had arrived, Xiang tooted her whistle and gestured them all skyward. She stopped by the chest and performed her usual ritual. She released the bludgers, then the snitch, then she took the quaffle in hand. Flying up to the center, she prepared to start the game.
"Good morning, my little dumplings! Today we start our season with Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw! We have two incredible teams that will undoubtedly make for an exciting match. Since we're all eager to go, let's get this match started! Captains ready? Alright. Then here... we.... go!" She threw the quaffle in the air and darted backwards, ready to watch the game unfold.

Alright, the game was starting! Benji mounted his broom and got ready to go. Vice Captain Tambry went up for the ball and opposed Bowtan from Gryffindor.
