Hm... It really depends...
A couple of years ago, I had an extreme Tamora Pierce obsession... (I still love her books...)
I also love Eon Colfer's Artemis Fowl...
And it's not very known, but I recently read a book called Everlost... It's a pretty deep book that you should give a glance...
I also liked Lynne Erwing's Daughters of the Moon, but not so much Sister's of Isis...
I also really liked the Dragonlance books...
I spend a lot of time reading... >.>

Man that really is a hard question...so many to choose from. Well I'd have to say it goes to the Green Rider series by Kristen Britain. I never get tired of those books.

[ΛΩ]I adore Terry Pratchett (well, except for his books about Rincewind. I quite like them, but Rincewind tends to annoy me).
I also like David Eddings (except for the newest series. It was disappointing.)
And The Old Kingdom series by Garath Nix. [ΨΣ]

I'm sorry, I simply cannot choose. 1) I read too many fantastic books to have a favorite; 2)I'm easily won over by books (heck, I thought the Seventh Tower series was great); and 3) I read too many books period to choose. My favorites are currently whatever I'm reading. Which, right now, is Twilight by Stephanie Meyers.

Mercedes Lackey is definately one of my favorites, but I could give you an endless list of favorites. Such as... Inheritance series By These Ten Bones (awesome mix of romance and fantasy) PenDragon series by DJ Machale ( Hobey Ho let's save Halla) Ink Heart series Harry Potter series If you want more, I have a few more on my profile. I'm always reading and finding more books that amaze me. I have to admit I'm mostly hooked on the PenDragon series and I just read By These Ten Bones this last week and it is a must read for anyone who enjoys a fantasy romance book.

My favorite fantasy books are Inkheart and Inkspell by Cornelia Funke. Those books painted such a vivid picture from beginning to end.

I'd have to say the DragonLance Chronicles, by Weiss & Hickman. I'm, also, rather fond of Wendi & Richard Penni's manga : ElfQuest
